nice food however they always forget the chilli or garlic not a problem as they are very friendly and professional.

Took hour and half but was told 30-45 mins was cold when arrived too

I left a review this morning but I'd like to say that they have made good on the mistake and that I would like to say I would definitely recommend them

2 of the items were missing so I called and was told he would send the bottle of pop and beans straight away and we still didn't receive them, this has been a favourite deal for us and even with the price going up it's a great deal but after this we don't know if we can trust them again

Never a bad thing to say about this place. It’s the only place we’ve been ordering from for ages now. Food is amazing, portions are good. the reward stamp is an extra incentive too. Top marks from me!

Excellent fish and chips. We have had food a few times from Magpies. Standard of food always excellent and consistent. We wouldn't go anywhere else now. We always choose ASAP and delivery is always before the estimated time which is fab.

I’ve never had an issue with this restaurant. Food is always hot and lovely! Delivery driver is always polite.

Added extra cheese to a cheesy chip wrap with curry got through half and eventually found some sort of cheese

got fish and chips for myself and my partner, the fish batter wasn't crispy, very soft in addition however the mushy peas were purely water, the curry sauce was purely water also, writing this the next day, me and my partner are ill now. will not be returning.

Huge donner wraps the size of my forearm.

So I am surprised this has only got a 3.6 rating. I was recommended this place a few month ago and although we have never ordered a delivery we have always drove the 4 mile trip to get this food and it is always hot when we get home. Food is amazing every time and portions are good, our house hold has tried everything except the burgers and we have no complaints a d defo the best place we have found in gateshead. Food is fairly priced and staff are very friendly, you do wait a little while for food but that is because its all done fresh so you dont mind the wait when you know the food is good. Keep up the good work. Neil

Got magpies kebab box, chicken is ok but it’s bits of thigh which has some fat. Doner kebab is dry: Salad, chips, pita, and sauces are good. Kids fish bites and chips were standard, but the bites were in the bottom of the tray which made the batter soggy. Overall, 6/10.

Top guys always look after you and have a laugh whilst waiting

A man came along our road throwing menu leaflets in the gardens and on the ground of every house. Not a single one was posted through any letterbox. This is littering on an industrial scale. Disgusting, take some pride in your local area!

my favourite pizza the BBQ chicken pizza, always piping hot and tastes unreal, wouldn't go anywhere else, so the kebab is so good and red hot.

I think this I my new favourite chippy. The cod was delicious. The Donner wraps are nice(with nice garlic sauce). The chicken curry wrap was very nice (with mint sauce)...would definitely use again.

Always get fish and chips delivered even tho live quiet far away always piping hot and delicious!! The wait time is a little longer than expected every time but the food is worth the wait i suppose :)

I was so surprised to see a 3.5 star rating on Google. We’ve ordered from here a few times via just eat and always been very impressed! In our opinion it’s much better than average for chip shop/takeout food. A firm favourite in our house!

Everything was ok apart from the chicken curry I couldn’t eat any of it the meat was awful not chicken sent I don’t think and was swimming in grease

4.5 stars out of 5 purely on the parmo needs a thicker layer of bechemel sauce on to be a parmo. however that's being picky the chicken tikka was perfectly cooked and the donner kebab had almost a buttery taste was possibly the best kebab iv had. chips good garlic sauce lovely. Will be back.

the mixed kebab is a little box of heaven.. chicken tikka kebab dipped in the yoghurt sauce life changing deffo my fave takeaway xx

used here for awhile now never had delivery as I always went into the shop while passing on my way home, and the food is always excellent, had delivery tonight and it was on time , unfortunately I was given the wrong order called the shop explained what had happened, no big deal mistakes happen.
