Incredibly rude customer service. Put me on hold for 10 minutes, hung up and then proceeded not to pick up any of my calls. Happened on 18/03 around 7:40pm. Flagging so you can single out the employee responsible.

Very friendly service, the staff remember you which makes you feel special. A vast variety of currys to choose from, not just the standard. They have non alcohol lager which is a first for me. You can come here by yourself or as a group and you will jot be disappointed. What are you waiting for!!

Been coming here for years. The service is exceptional, always welcomed & looked after with a cold beer waiting on the table from Noor and the guys... Food is delicious and very reasonable.. top marks

I've been a quite frequent diner here for some years - was last in yesterday for one of their three-times-weekly Banquet Nights. Very pleasant and friendly staff and I always enjoy their food - very interesting flavours without being so highly spiced that you don't know what you're eating!

Awful experience! The guy with the glasses wearing a purple shirt and a bow tie! Such a rude guy! Absolutely poor customer service! Firstly we waited a long while just for the waiter to come and take our order! On top of that we get treated like second class citizens with a rude attitude and unkind behaviour as we saw how they were treating the White British people, with smiles on their faces and a polite way of speaking to them! We felt very uncomfortable and we definitely wouldn’t be coming here again for sure! If you want to be treated differently and made to feel uncomfortable then you can go ahead and visit them! Otherwise do NOT go there!

Absolute garbage. Waited 40 minutes to be seated and the service was disgusting. Silly workers too busy playing with their hair and the manager farted next to my table. Disgusting from an indian restaurant, do not recommend. Silly brown freshies.

Such an amazing place for Indian cuisine. Their food is always up to the mark. They’ve variety of vegetarian options to choose from. The chutneys they serve with papadums are delicious 🤤. A clean place with welcoming staff, their manager is sometimes rude but overall we always had good experience there.

The food was alright, The flavors were kind of bland, and it didn’t leave much of an impression. Portion sizes were decent, and the presentation was nice, but it didn’t really stand out for the price. Service was fine

I am a regular customer there. But today the service was appalling by a member of staff. I ordered an extra plain naan on top of the banquet meal. After finishing the meal I was given the bill, and was being charged for a garlic naan which is a pound more, I said why charge me for garlic naan when I had plain naan. They made a big deal out of that, and the staff said to me they made a mistake by giving me a garlic naan instead of a plain naan and that I should have said something so they would've changed it, which was rude. I said if you had given me a garlic naan then I obviously would have said something but you didn't and gave me a plain naan. The staff was rude, stubborn and was adamant he gave me garlic naan when he didn't and I would know what sort of naan it is as I ate it. He did go back and fourth to the manager discussing this, hence the big deal, don't know if the manager had any influence in his behaviour but when I spoke to the manager and complained he didn't say anything. I am not sure if I should go back there again.

The food was mediocre. Was rather bland and tasteless. If you want an authentic Indian meal this is not the place to go. Think it's catered more for the bland palette. However on a positive note, you do get value for the money spent. There are much better restaurants in the local area. yah gore logon ka bhaarateey bhojan hai

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. It’s decent when you go in to eat but when you order you’ll be waiting 1h-1.45h and they will argue with you over the phone and the food will come cold. The costumer service and how this situation got handled was terrible

I've purchased from this restaurant due to a recommendation from a friend, first and last time unfortunately. -Saag Aloo 1/10 - Saag percentage 10%, potato percentage 90%, tasteless. There was much more potato in the dish compared with the saag. -Chicken Karahi 1/10 - Again tasteless, made in a rush using the same Chicken tikka pieces and almost whole pieces of vegetables in the curry. -Chicken Tikka 1/10 - Yet again tasteless -Naan 0/10 - You'd expect the naan bread to be a saviour of any restaurant but not in this restaurant, I'd purchased one of each naan but due to dirty cooking utensils each naan bread had a crunchy texture like sand, ruining every naan. Note my review left on JustEat was removed by the restaurant as not to blemish all the other 5 star ratings.

One of the worst restaurants I’ve been to. Horrible service, extremely rude manager. We went in and ordered drinks for 5 people and two portions of starters. We were reprimanded and put down for ordering jsut a starter and not a main. We were told “we aren’t a snack shop, you have to order a main”. This wasn’t told to us or signposted anywhere and this rude behaviour immediately put us off the restaurant. We were charged £10 service charge which is ridiculous and we will be making an official complaint about this. Sweet lassi wasn’t sweet, onion bhajees were dry and bland. For the quality of the restaurant, they don’t deserve to be treating their customers that way. Avoid at all costs

I ordered House special biriyani from Red chilli, and far from my experience, i didn't like the flavour of the Biriyani at all, it was blank. Hope it will be better next time. Otherwise the delivery time was quite good.

Have used this place on numerous occasions when in the area & it is always the best food & service. I would highly recommend it especially their Onion Bhajis.

We went to eat there for the 1st time to eat without reservations as we didn't know we need to reserve but thank you to the team for letting us in and serves us whatever we ordered.. thank you so much everyone.. the foods are amazing.. highly recommended..🥰

I have given 2 stars only for the service and atmosphere due to our experience on 17th of March. I've delayed putting this review in as I needed to give some serious thought as to whether I should. As a family we have come to the Chillies since it opened I believe in 2008, so a very long time. We have always been treated with respect and the staff will always greet us by our names. In the main the service is excellent but on this particular occasion when there were 5 of us for a meal the service was appalling. We arrived at 17.45 and were seated immediately and while our drinks were brought quite quickly we didn't receive our starters until 1 hour and 15 min later( we did not have (poppadums') we waited another hour and a 1/2 before we received our mains with other diners receiving their meal and leaving the restaurant even though they had come in after us. We continuously tried to catch the eye of the waiters but they were clearly avoiding us and we were becoming to feel very uncomfortable. In the end my husband got up and approached the senior waiter who tried to avoid my husband as he approached him, he was extremely argumentative and rude about the time we waited. When our plates arrived ready for the meal they were stone cold and we had to ask for the usual hot ones which we received immediatly. Although the food was as always very good the whole evening was ruined , we felt demoralised and extremely uncomfortable and made to feel we were an inconvenience. This has happened before to us when there has been more than 2 of us so to date we have not been back (17th May) As I write this review I feel very upset that this was necessary. the excuse that was given on this occasion was because of their fasting the chef needed to stop and eat. It is a business so should be dealing with ways to organise.

Ordered a takeaway for 17, everyone absolutely loved the food. The chicken is cooked on the night, so not dry like in most curry places. Definitely will be ordering again. Thank you Red Chilli!

Went there for the first time and probably will only go next when I’ll be having PLENTY of time. The wait in getting the food was awful, didn’t really know what to know with my hungry tummy. Anyways, the food was very very tasty with good serving size. If taste is the only priority, this place can be tried.

Me & my friends had a fantastic meal last night the staff couldn't do enough great Atmosphere Great Food.

I tried to order food from here on both ubereats and Deliveroo. After 1h wait they called to say I'm too far away and they can't deliver to me. Mind you, I'm 2 streets away. The staff who called didn't even let me talk, she said what she had to say and then like "okaaay byeee". I didn't get to say a word.

I've been visiting Indian restaurants since the late 70s and the food here has to be in the top 3 I have ever had. Banquet night prices 3 nights a week. Very very good. Wish I lived closer but just visiting

Excellent - the best Indian restaurant in Luton. I’ve eaten at this restaurant since 2011 and is definitely on my list of top 3. The food has always been delicious and of fantastic quality. Love their Prawn puri and mixed kebab starter. Staff and service is excellent they are attentive and polite. Decor is new and clean. Prices are reasonable and their banquet night deal is great value for money.

Great food and good location. Staff are very friendly. Restaurant can get noisy when full but the food is worth it. Street parking outside if your lucky otherwise pay and display parking just down the road. If you like this restaurant then you should try the sister restaurant in Toddington.

We ordered the trout, it comes dry or curried, we asked for dry it came curried, said we wanted the dry trout the waiter replied this is what you ordered we said no it's not, very rude waiter, what quick turnover here, not been back since.

I start wirh service, service was good, But for food, i didn't enjoy that much. I ordered Chicken Biryani and Shiekh Kebab Sheikh Kebab was not bad, it tasted ok, but meat was more red colour indicating that they used food colour but unfortunately Biryani was very bland, it was not to my taste, the rice used was broken rice instead of full long rice.

I am Indian, have lived Luton for 13 years from london. Have to say this restaurant Red Chilli is outstanding, best quality dishes and the service! Not seen one good Indian restaurants in Luton at all! So happy Red Chilli They have authentic foods. Definitely recommended

I believe The manager or the owner was serving us. He seems to be more interested in pushing us order more drinks and starters than truly accommodate our needs. Food wise I had the Tandoori king prawns which lack freshness. The meat of the prawns is soft and wasn’t properly gutted. Then the Papadum is good. The Brieni fish was tasty. The coke I ordered was warm not sure what’s going on. So overall dealing with a grumpy manager or owner and satisfactory food I am afraid this is the best rating I can give. I can go else where.

Honest and true review. The worst Indian food I've ever had! We ordered chicken and veg biryani for mains and paneer puri for starters. Absolutely awful service and food. They don't deserve a single star. The food was oily and unhealthy. The worst I've had ever. The waiters were so rude when i asked how long will I have to wait. He said you can see how busy we are. UNBELIEVABLE! Even when taking my order they were rude. They would allow us to just order starters to start with. We wished we didn't go there. It was awful awful awful! Tasteless, over cooked veg and everything was greasy and oily. AVOID IF YOU WANT TO STAY HEALTHY. I don't like giving bad reviews but had to in this case. The worst experience ever.

Visited the restaurant today with my wife & 4 month old baby,Waiter with the glasses took wrong order from us, we said something he wrote something else which was corrected by another waiter when food was served.starter came after 1 hour.food was ok.after we finished our meal we waited 30mins for our bills while he was busy chatting with his mates at the counter. Asked him For two aluminium Takeway container for ur leftovers food, He charged us extra £2 for two aluminium container, how ridiculous!!! i want an apology from the waiter for treating us unfairly. Rest of the Staffs were friendly.never gonna visit Again. 01/02/2022

The service was amazing, staff really attentive and friendly. Sadly the 3 vegetarian sides I ordered were not great. The food all appeared orange in colour and each dish looked and tasted the same which is not what I was expecting.

I ordered a biryani and in all honesty, it was the worst I had ever had in my life. The rice tasted bland and without flavour, the meat was almost off and the veg curry was simply atrocious. My date was of the opinion that we should not pay for the meal, but I chose to take the high road .Loads of better and more authentic options locally. To be fair the karahi chicken ordered by my date was quite decent, but all in all, the high points of our dining experience were actually run of the mill, and the low point( biryani) was extremely disappointing. I will never be back. I’ll stick to takeaway from my usual suspects, Miraj and Aonedosa. Undeserving of one star and this exists purely as a venture to make mugs of people who genuinely love Indian cuisine, but are not well versed enough to know the difference between a decent Indian meal and a shambolic tribute act.

Loved the food and ambience, fish Biryani is top notch( not authentic south Indian Briyani) and felt nostalgic after 7 years . Paneer Tikka, chicken Tikka , lamb chops are excellent and you feel Asian spices 👍

We got in to the restaurant The waiter informed us that the kitchen would close at 11 The time was almost 10.40 by then We checked once again if we could dine in He said ok We took our seats He gave us the menu We informed him we were ready and he ignored us and was on call ignoring us Later after sometime he took the order and asked us whether we prefer any drinks and we said no He turned around started murmuring and also showing gestures. We felt so bad, We cancelled our order and got out of the restaurant It was a pathetic experience! I would never say that the restaurant is bad But staff like him would really make it! I don't know his name If the authorities could check the CCTV everything is visible! Never wanted to put a bad review But My experience forced me to!

Delivery time was 1 hour 10 mins (that’s fine considering it was Saturday and probably busy) however once food arrived every single item was freezing cold. We called to get a refund and they said they didn’t believe me (first time ordering) why would I lie ?? Told me they would call me back later as they are busy but not to busy to take the payment over the phone when ordering?? Honestly would never order from here again and the customer service is terrible. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS INDIAN TAKEAWAY!!!

Oh dear first time I have felt compelled to leave a review and it's not good. Ordered through just eat was given delivery time of 20.00, at 20.05 received a notification to say it was with the delivery driver, great we thought almost curry time. Come 20.30 it still hadn't arrived messaged red chilli though just eat no reply, eventually food arrived at 20.45 obviously it was cold.. No one wants cold curry so we declined the order & called red chilli to explain we weren't happy, whoever I spoke to denied the food was late, did not believe the food was cold and refused to refund us. I told them I would be reporting them to just eat. After speaking with the restaurant they changed the delivery time to 20.50 & tried to deliver the same cold food again. In their defence they did call us back and offered to cook a fresh order but by this time we had lost all trust in this restaurant. I would definitely recommend avoiding this establishment.

Have been going to red chilli for the last 10 years or so now and they always deliver lovely Indian food with great atmosphere. Would highly recommend trying to go on Tuesday, Wednesday or Sunday for their banquet night... the best deal around 👌 🌶 🌶 🌶
