There is no need to talk too much. Simply amazing from the staff to the food and environment. And simplicity is difficult.

The Arabic rice was exceptional - make sure you ask for peri peri chicken. The tea was a bit too sweet for me. My wife liked the grill. The salad was really fresh. Will come again!

Rice and chicken were very good. Compared to other restaurants serving Arabic rice, this one felt tasty and authentic.

Can't speak to the food because after asking for a table and sitting for some time I was never approached. Empty restaurant except for me but all three employees were busy on their phones and making fun of the last customer that left. Walked out and won't return.

Delicious food and friendly staff

These are their masala chips, slightly different to normal ones so it's not saucy but still had a lot of flavour. I had the Dunk Indiana special. But I preferred the other burger we ordered, the cheesy smash. Overall it was great but the burger could improve slightly

First time I went to eat at this place.. what a disappointment!! Food came late and was salty. No forks in the cutlery tray..asked for forks and tissue at the counter, the girl said none was available. Went to the bathroom to wash hands and it was revolting 🤢 toilet hadn’t been cleaned s….t all over the seat , no toilet tissue and the smell😳. Cleanliness is something this place needs to take on board.. the tables kept rocking had a piece of cardboard under the legs to keep it stable .. which was the same with most of the tables . Finally left this place without finishing my lunch . Will not be going there again . What a waste of money !!!

Ordered ‘Gourmet lamb rice, shaks peri peri half chicken, spicy fries, onion rings, and from the kids menu little boss man which is a beef burger’. The pulled lamb had a unpleasant smell to it like it was old. Spicy chips was just chips with chilli powder on top. The fries and onion rings were tasty. Kids menu beef burger was great for the price.

Use to go here at times for my lunch break, used to be really nice before. Got the grilled chicken with rice, nice and filling Another time I went for the beef noodles and literally just watched the guy get it out of a freezer in a container and chuck it in the microwave. Mayb months old

Tiny portion of chips. Missed ferrero rocher milksake from order. Made me pay for all the sauces yet the THEY WERE DISGUSTING AND RUNNY LIKE WATER. AND THE DELIVERY GUY WAS HOLDING THE PAPER STRAW IN HIS BEAR HANDS!!!! RIDICULOUS EXPERIENCE. DONT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡

Gourmet burgers were very bad! Meat lacked taste and probably was frozen for a while. It wasn't even 6oz as stated. The salsa inside was very poor and probably just poured out of a jar. Fried chicken wrap was dry and poorly put together. The wings were preboiled. They added BBQ sauce on top and just served it. Worth noting we ordered sweet chilli wings, not BBQ. The chips were good though. If anything the 1 star goes towards that! Never coming back here again.

I'm a regular here. I love the variety of burgers available but also so many others to choose from. very pleasant and functional seating. Must try the pulled lamb burger and Ajwa milkshake.

Poor quality of food! The sweet potatoes fries cold and soggy and definitely not worth £2.99 The burger was flat and not a normal burger bun and the meat was tough and cold. Really not satisfied also what the customer service!

Gourmet Shack serves up the best chicken strips and lamb chops - my personal preference. My taste buds have been seriously tickled and come alive again with the hot sauces used in garnishing food. Restuarant is very clean, manager is very friendly and gives great service. Keep it up!

Got a takeaway lamb burger and cheesy chips. Spent £20 for two of each. There was very little lamb in the burgers it was like eating a bun with salad alone in it. The chips were a small portion and there was barely any cheese. More annoying was the fact that you cannot complete the order until you buy sauce that you don’t need (not just with the burger but the chips as well) just to ensure they get more money out of you. Really disappointed but more so because I’m still starving!

I always dread going to a new takeaway because Luton customer service is the worst I have experienced but Gourmet Shack is one of the few exceptions with a really friendly guy who explained the menu. Its not your usual grill but has a great and unique menu at very reasonable prices. Will be a regular. Try it out!

Employees The worker messed up 4 orders and there is no AC in the shop there is no room to breathe this is one the worst experiences ever eating out do not come here! The food First they had given one burger (that tasted like do s**t) half an hour Before the whole meal then they had given a burger that was frozen we complained then they gave a replacement the was soggy af the wrap was mediocre at best furthermore we asked for spicy chips and they gave chips with chilli powder on top none at the bottom the Pepsi was boiling.

Nice and cheap but could improve on the flavour on the food and not serve microwave meals as they told us Italian chef was working but the food came out of frozen container the chips was probably the best part of the meal very disappointed!!!

Well what i ordered wasnt all that the chicken what was meant to kebab chicken was more like curry chicken 🤔

Never usually like to rant about bad food experiences, I usually just don't order again. Food arrived late, food was cold. I can get past that. But to finally put my food in a plate and find a long blonde hair in it just topped it. Rang back to explain where the gentleman could only apologise and not offer anything to compensate. Only when I said that I will pack this back up please collect it did he offer to cook a fresh batch. And now it's another 40 minute wait. I guess the money has been paid and my order is not prioritised. Hopefully the taste of the food will make up for the lack of service of customer care.

The lamb and chicken kebabs were from a frozen box from a supermarket the lamb chops were Luke chewing gum and burnt and the chips were dry please do yourself a favour and avoid these individuals who don't have a clue about what they are doing

Worst place in the world. I've ordered from a lot of different places. Food had gone off (lamb with rice) said they were going to replace it with lamb chops put phone down. 35 mins later brought chicken with rice really smelled? Owner doing deliveries said his name was Tanveer. Denied it had gone off and said it was new in menu I refused smelly replacement chicken and he just left. Didn't refund after I gave it back to him

I've had home delivery previouslyand enjoyed it,this time I went to the shop and made my order,very disappointing,I would have been better off going to McDonald's,I won't be going back

Its a fine takeaway you can have. Their milkshakes are best especially Ajwa dates and almond shake.

My visit to this place was not planed. This place is really clean and surprisingly spacious from inside. I ordered a grilled half chicken, chips and Pepsi. Their chicken was awesome and loved their flavours of souse! Really good value and I would highly recommend this place.. The only thing I would add is the fact that not only I had to order at the counter (which is fine) but I also had to go and pickup my food myself to take back to my table. I hope they don’t always do this and they only did this because of short staff on this occasion. I would recommend this and also I would go back for sure!

Underrated! Great value, good food! Love the pulled lamb burger and chilli Mince chips. Environment very nice, rusty theme for their America style. Highly recommended and its halal!

I had a pulled Lamb Burger was very nice.came in a nice thermal box to keep it warm.and some paper so i coukd hold the burger without it coming apart.the bun was nice as was the fillings.the service was excellent friendly staff and thr order was made very quickly .A+

Second time I've been here and not going there again. First time was telephone order and guy was rude second time was in the shop and portions were tiny and charged extra to top up my meal to a normal portion! No apology or anything.

Nothing much gourmet about it, thier USP is slow cooked pulled lamb which is actually good but the end execution is bad.
