The Real Greek - Strand in City of London, Westminster

Was OK,we had to wait for the food a bit! In my opinion the menu for kids have to many species,my kids did not eat!

Food was lovely but service was a little bit slow, plus something got left off our order that we had to ask for twice. That said, the staff were really friendly and the restaurant itself was conveniently located, comfortable and had a good atmosphere.

Lovely atmosphere in this restaurant- we came in on a Saturday evening and the ambience was lovely. The staff are very friendly and food arrived very swiftly. The food was lovely and tasted authentically Greek. We have really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend and come back again when we come to London again. Fab Sangria!!!

The only two things Greek were the Ouzo and the Tsasiki. Both were great. Service was a weak 3 star, but unfortunately for a restaurant the food was inedible.. Left everything apart from a few pieces of flatbread with the Tsasiki on the plate. Took half an hour before they cleared the table, and they weren't in any way asking why nothing was ate. Guess they are used to that, then. Good location in London's theatre land. But so many better places for a meal.

Oh dear. All the food was cold, they reluctantly brought out a 2nd lot which was also cold. The chicken was awful, lamb meatballs not even cooked. Greek salad was just tomatoes.. octopus inedible! The food tastes as though it had been made a couple of days ago and bunged in the microwave!! When we complained to the waiter.. his response “and what else is wrong”. No apology, no attempt to rectify in a professional manner. Manager was a joke.. laughing because we would not pay for our food! We paid for drinks, and were still told we owed! Ended up walking out. No wonder the place was completely empty on a Saturday afternoon! Do not eat here!!

The food was delicious and it was super quick. Everyone was really nice and we enjoyed our visit. We will be coming back!

Lovely spot to eat at! sat by window in the front of restaurant. waiter Natalia opened the window so we could have a lovely view of the hustle and bustle of the London streets. Food was lovely and staff super friendly!

Really lovely staff and the restaurant is in a great location just across from the Savoy theatre.. we had a great window table so we could watch the world go by. Natalia was very friendly and accommodating, great place for a pit stop before our show and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Not nice... we were hungry and as always I looked at Google reviews which were positive. We entered the lady server was really nice.. We chose the £10 menu. I chose halloumi skewer and my partner chose chicken skewers. We also got tzatziki and abuergibe dips with pitta bread. We were eating them and my partner said to me smell the bread ,there's a funny smell and he was right it smelt like old oil, stale food smell. Really put us off we were really hungry so we carried on. When the food came out it was mediocre to say the least , the rice was horrendous, again the funny tasting pitta breads, greek salad pathetic and dry. When we got the bill we aware utterly disgused £48!!! Two cokes cost £6.90!!!the extra dips £6 each!!! AVOID THIS PLACE ITS NOT NICE GREEK FOOD. ALSO the male server wasn't very friendly....either needs customer service skills. If we visit London again we won't be eating here.

I was recently with my wife and 13 year old daughter. The food is very good and, after having had a small problem with a dish that we partially ate, it was still totally discounted from the receipt: a more unique than rare case. Very kind “original Greek” sales assistants. Advised!!

Waiter Sebastian was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay.

Previously been to the one in Windsor, which was lovely, this one in The Strand is not! Waitress didn't know what the 'Lemon' juice drink option was and couldn't be bothered to find out. She was vacant, no engagement whatsoever. Didn't ask if everything was ok with our food, not even when paying the bill. Took payment with barely two words. Chicken skewers were very dry, not freshly cooked. Very small portion of Greek salad and of chips. All the food was served at the same time, instead of starter then main, even when we ordered it starter/main. Just a fast turnover restaurant. Will not ever be going to another of these restaurants again.

Arrived, awful service. Food was dreadful, soggy and almost as though it had been defrosted, dips were nice though. Really disappointed tbh.
