The Real Greek - Muswell Hill in Haringey

Ordered the pork skewers as a takeaway, burnt and dry, do not waste your money dining here, disappointed!

Nice interior, and delicious food. But, The idea of picking a few different dishes with small portions works out very expensive, (for example 4 pieces of meat and a couple of spoons of rice for around £10). Fine if you want a wrap, but otherwise too many good places to eat to consider a return here I’m afraid.

No. Not at all worth the money - get much better value and quality in a genuine 'real' Greek/Turkish restaurant I suggest. My unappetising lamb was stuck to the wooden stick, (In the freezer too long?). The bread of my daughters 'wrap' was way too thick - the Halloumi inside was rock hard -she did not eat the Falafel. It looks good inside and the Menu seemed interesting. The waitress service was pleasent. But no!

The experience at The Real Greek at Muswell Hill was disappointing in the extreme. What I ate left me feeling bloated and with hiccups. The main course of pork skewer was inedible as it was all fat and the starters were tasteless. My partners meatballs were hard as though they had been reheated. The noise from the extractor fan made conversation difficult.

I love Greek food so I dumped here, to feel the holiday time I spent in Greece this Summer, and I have not regretted. I didn't know there is a Greek Restaurant chain in London, so I was a bit taken aback. Lovely and home made food, delicious Mezes, and great service from Esmeralda. See you again very soon.

As we like Greek food very much we went back to this restaurant and had a great experience. We were welcomed by Valentina, who was polite, kind and professional. Our food was served promptly and presented nicely. The menu is vey impressive, so much to choose from. Valentina made us feel special, she is a very good asset to this eatery. We recommend this place.

We took advantage of the latest offer on The Fork & enjoyed sone tasty Greek food, which was presented well & cooked to our liking. The service from Valentino was OUTSTANDING, she was thoughtful, professional, polite & perform her duties with a smile. A shining example which others should follow.

Had a gorgeous lunch at The Real Green in Muswell Hill and were brilliant looked after by the lovely Valentina who was very friendly and efficient, and made the best coffee we’d had in a while despite it being only her second day on the coffee machine. Well done for top-notch hospitality

Me and my friend dropped here for lunch and a couple of glasses ( we love Greek Wines) last Sunday. The whole experience from start to finish was great and the Manager and the staff were so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. But what left us really impressed is their kindness and patience. We know we are often a little annoying, and possibly too chatty ( we both maybe had one too many). However the Manager and the young guy were so accommodating and we want to thank them for that. We'll visit again. Phenomenal.

Went here for the first time with my daughter after passing it a few times. We wasn’t disappointed! The food was lovely, the souvlakis were packed with flavour as was the Mediterranean rice and Greek salad. It was definitely value for money. The service was very efficient too. Any time we are in Muswell Hill we go to The Real Greek: the food is fresh and really tasty and the service is excellent. My 3 year daughter loves to go as the restaurant is very family friendly. Esmeralda was our waitress last time and I couldn't thank her enough for how attentive, efficient, quick and sweet she was. Always so kind and with a smile on her face and so patient with children! At one point my daughter just ran to the toilet and Esmeralda was so nice to help her out as I made my way at a slower pace! Will be back at the next opportunity for sure!

We went to a show at the Alexandra Palace and decided to go for dinner in Muswell Hill beforehand. So glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed my octopus dish and my husband loved the chicken wrap. We were pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced it was as well. We would definitely eat here again.

Delicious food! Nice place to go and share. You get a wide selection of plates and you can taste a bit of everything with your friend. Service was very welcome and friendly.
