I have had food from here before was very good , so when I saw the 40 percent off I thought I would get some of the more expensive dishes , big mistake , the driver was a bit strange insisted on the delivery code crazy never asked that before

It was my first time trying Greek cuisine and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything we tried was delicious. Even though portions were a bit too small it was just enough. It wasn’t really expensive either. The ambiance was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Used to go there before and it was ok, but now with new management team and new menu it is 5 stars. 🥰

Delicious food, nice service, modern decor. The feta dip was nice and spicy, the pita was toasty, the chicken skewer was perfectly grilled, but the hubby said my moussaka tasted better than the restaurant's😎 but that it was still good. Highly recommended.

We each had the chicken wrap and sgared a portion of chips. They were delicious, my wrap had the mustard mayo. The staff were all lovely, but Yarik in particular was professional but friendly and welcoming as well.

Amazing food and staff !! The weekday lunch special is the bomb! And the weekend one too. Been there three times now, and love it. So fresh, and delicious. Best Greek food in Gloucester. The waiter we had was Jaric, he was such a sweetie and gave us great service! As did everyone. I've been recommending this place to all the family and arranging lunch with them here. They've all loved it too, and are now suggesting this for lunch with their friends. Well done guys!

We had a great first visit to The Real Greek in Gloucester Quays to celebrate a family birthday and exam results. We received a very warm welcome from Pedro and then Luzie, Chloe and Hannah did a great job of looking after us throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious and it was really nice to have several well labelled vegan options to choose from - we will definitely be coming back!

As a Greek living in Gloucester, I am very disappointed in the food. The portions are tiny bit pricey. The dips don’t taste like anything like the original ones and the souvlaki is very dry. The dolmades where inedible. The only positive where the fries with oregano. Staff was pleasant. If you are going to serve Greek food at least know what Greek food tastes like

Awful. Long wait to order . Food came separately and grudging service and seating questionable. Will most certainly not be going back. Food not served together. My companion waited whilst I ate mine and then vica versa.

First time eating at the Real Greek. Chicken skewers were very dry with NO choice of sauces included with the dish on the menu. Very good Service from a very helpful polite waitress.

For the second time running the orders were missing tatsiki and one of the boxes just had skewers and flatbread. No chips in it. Some of the chicken also looked pink

Amazing night. Food was good as always. 98 quid for 2 people (drinks and food), including 10 percent tip for the amazing waiter who really made our night. He wanted to help wherever he did. Definitely coming back! Thank you Yarik!

Had to drop the score - meat platter was great, but the Greek salad was awful. Pretty much just tomatoes with barely any feta and only 3 olives.

Was ok. Although chicken tasted a bit dry on this occasion and the tzatziki was missing.

Lovely lunch at the Real Greek in Gloucester - great set menu options for an tenner and food was great quality. Can’t say no to a souvlaki wrap! There were also some lovely Greek wines on offer. Our waiter Yarik was really efficient and helpful. Overall a very reasonably priced lunch!

Ordered two souvlaki, one with chicken and one with pork sausage. Both were dry - no sauce! They had chips and sliced tomato inside, but then were served with extra chips. Why didn’t the server explain there were chips in the wrap? We also ordered a Greek salad on the side, but it was made with cherry tomatoes? These were very acidic, and not at all what you expect from a Greek salad. Overall, very disappointing.. Will not eat there again. Please note - website will not let me post my review without recommending something, so I have recommended a drink I didn’t have!

Absolutely stunning food and exceptional service here. We were seated quickly and made to feel very welcome. Food was all delicious and we felt the price we paid was very reasonable. We were dining with friends and stayed for 2 hours and never once felt like we were being rushed out. This was our first visit and we will be back.

A real shame. After a 45 min break wait (restaurant was not busy), cold food came out with dirty lates and cutlery (which we had to ask for). Servers were abrupt and lacked any real service attitude. Won’t be going back.

What food we had we enjoyed. However prices are ridiculous. I got 4 (ikea sized) meat balls for £9.50 , another member of our party had 5 chicken wings for £8. Pop to pizza express or spoons just down the road. We left hungry and poor.

Very average restaurant, says it’s Greek but mainly in the name of the restaurant! The rice was watery and not fresh, gigandes with spinach were cold and the waiter forgot about the spoon for me. Tzatziki not fresh and not seasoned properly, olives for starter were rotten. We definitely would one back there anymore! We don’t recommend that place!

Nice place. Great staff but the food wasn’t good at all.

Got a delivery from here and was very disappointed. The lamb meatballs lacked flavour and were dry, the chips in the Souvlaki were soggy (fine for a delivery I suppose), the sauce in the Souvlaki was tasteless too. Greek salad was a huge bowl of cherry tomatoes, a tiny piece of thin feta, a couple of onions and very few diced cucumber and 5 olives. Couldn't even taste olive oil or any seasoning with exception of a dusting of oregano. Basically, you're paying for a packet of tomatoes It filled a gap, but that was about it.

Unfortunately the salad had a vague disinfectant taste, and in general the dishes were not particularly tasty or special. The chicken on the skewer was excellent and the price was good.

Good food,,very busy, worth asking if they have a set menu works out a bit cheaper, and you only seem to get it if you ask for it.

We recently got a takeaway from here which was pretty much exactly as good as eating in the restaurant. Because the takeaway was so good we decided to eat in; the staff were very friendly and attentive, no long waits, good atmosphere, and the food was tip top. The house favourite halloumi was perfect! We’ll definitely be back again, cheers.

It is one of the few restaurants that my daughter will eat in as a Vegan Gluten free. Plenty of choice and care and consideration taken with her food I love the food there also. Great service by Yarik

When the customer says "I'll have this with a portion of chips and lots of ketchup", you say "yes" or you say "not possible". What you don't say is "yes" then after the starter and part way through the main coarse say "sorry we don't have ketchup". That was the agreed contract and you failed to honour it. Next time pop to the shop and buy some ketchup or be truthful at the beginning and watch us walk out.

Our first visit and definitely the last one! People there are not experienced, they don’t pay attention, takes time to catch their attention, didn’t even come once to check if the food is ok…we was waiting long time for the food to come even though the restaurant was not busy at all. We asked for the food to come all in the same time, they brang the starters and after 30 min the rest of food. The octopus (few small pieces) came cold, they brang another one… the calamari was just like rubber, couldn’t bite from it… “greek salad” 🤦🏻‍♀️ was bitter… etc. small plates, you don’t get much food. We left the restaurant very disappointed 😒

Hannah and Lily were fantastic hosts. It was my 50th and they organised everyone's meal very well with some special dietary requirements we had a set menu which was very good.

Bit poor that the cold meze dips do not come with anything to dip in them. Flatbread is £4 extra so bringing the price of a small starter to over £12. Not worth it.

I ordered the above from the online. menu, using the just eat app at approximately 16:53. The items were estimated to arrive at 17:50. At 18:07 I checked the app. It showed that the food had been delivered. However, nothing has arrived. I used my up to date telephone number. But received no call from the driver. The location setting was also switched on. I tried to call The Real Greek Grill. But was put directly on hold. After a few minutes I was then told, by an automated machine, that the staff were too busy to take my call. And the call was then disconnected. I took a trip to the restaurant, but the proprietors were not willing to help, accept for a telephone helpline. They say the order left. I asked them if they had the drivers' number. They did not give it to me. I made this transaction through PayPal. I will be contacting them in the morning.

We been for lunch last Saturday we order food and drink and the bill came out £121 , I also told the waiters to apply for student discount and she said she can't apply for full 25 percent discount to the bill as you can see in the photo drinks and some item was exempt from discount but it doesn't work like that, in my opinion discount should be apply at all bill . I wouldn't recommend this place to any students very disappointing situation

People are nice, unfortunately not experienced. Only some food arrived, had to wait for the rest. Prices are good, but the main dish come on a side dish plate. Unfortunately would not be returning to this place.

Got no hallumi popcorn delivered despite it being written on the top of the orders and then no one answered the phones. Tried calling 3 times!

Hello, I'm not happy with the order. This first thing is dimessing the sauce or what I think should be on him. The another one thing and the foot is very burn. I got the photos well on him. IM really no happy on them.

Absolutely awful. The place was only half full and staff milling about. We were greeted at the door and shown to our table then NOTHING. We waited for 15 mins, not even a drinks order was taking the waiter walked passed numerous times without even acknowledging we were there. We left. We mentioned to the manager who couldn’t care less.

There is a deal on Groupon that we used to eat here. A meal for two is £30 with choices from a set menu. All the food was delicious and all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. This restaurant is located within the Gloucester Quays shopping complex. There is a multi-story car park just five minutes walk away. The desert picture here is an orange sponge cake with ice-cream 👌

We had a really lovely meal here.We had the set menu for £15 which included a choice of 2 starters and mains.The food was very well presented and tasted amazing. We had chicken skewers, lamb meatballs and sausage skewers,sooo tasty and nice portion sizes too. Another table had wraps and they looked good too.Mlena,Chloe & Hannah were very attentive and friendly and we would definitely have a meal there again when we go back to Gloucester quays.

Ordered our usual meat platter but missing about a quarter of what we normally get. There was a couple of bits of chopped up sausage rather than the kebabs and no lamb kebab. I tried to call the restaurant but as it was Saturday I assume they were too busy to answer. Not sure if we'll use them again
