The Real Greek BBQ Greek Street Food in Chesterfield

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Just ordered and paid for a takeaway online. Got there and the place has closed down!! Looks like people are being scammed!! By the way, only gave 1 star as there isn't an option to give zero!

Ordered food for 3 people at 8:40pm, it is now 11:10pm and we have no food. Maybe food is good but we will never know. Why take orders if you have no intention of delivering?!

I had the worst experience with the Real Greek BBQ. I placed an order and paid for it, only to be left with an empty stomach and an empty wallet. Despite being given a delivery time, the food never arrived. When I called to inquire about my order, I was met with number does not exist. Weird business model to be honest.

Pierce was so sweet and very welcoming. The food was amazing and the service was really good. :)

It's a tiny shop. We we're entertained while our food was freshly cooked before us. The portions are Generous! Great great clean food full of flavour. We are definitely going back. Great value.......stuffed. Lovely olives and feta cheese salad.

Called last night for a large portion of chips. Just chips. How can you get it wrong? Was offered half a million sauces and dips. No thanks, just a spot of vinegar and a bit of salt. Got a relatively small portion, even the delivery guy felt sorry for me and added a few more when the other guy went in the back. They were pre-'cooked' and in a bain Marie thingy. Had them wrapped and took them home. 2 minute drive. Some chips stone cold, others luke-warm. Some greasy, some not. Some cooked, some not. Obviously different batches just chucked in at different times. Never again! Place looked poxy too. No option to leave 0 stars or I would.

Absolutely atrocious £36 my cans of pop was missing all food was cold never be going here again would even feed It to my dog

Quick delivery and chips were piping hot which was great. Unfortunately the kebab was cold, the halloumi was hard and dry, not much meat and quite fatty to say it was £10.90.

Ordered because I was craving Greek food having grown up in Cyprus it's my fav food. Was not disappointed would definitely go back again

Had a pork gyros from here yesterday with chips. Pitta full of meat & lovey salad tasted just like the gyros I had in Greece earlier this year would recommend and reasonably priced. 10x better than your average kebab meat . The real deal .

Honestly one of the nicest take always I’ve had. Will definitely order again. I got the samosas, the Greek gigantes butter beans, and a vegetarian gyros wrap. So delicious!

A £22 mixed Greek BBQ mixed grill , wow absolutely chuffing terrible . Also said it was 1/2 people if that’s right it must be a takeaway for dwarfs. Oh it came with half a pitta bread Gobsmacked.

The Real Greek BBQ provided excellent catering for our two corporate events, many of the employees highly rated the food and Tony ensured the day went to plan. We will certainly consider going back to Tony for another one of our events.

Never order from here again. Haven't received any call or message just cancel a order for a lorry driver. Go and delivery for only people who are at home and not on road. Very disappointed. didn't deserve any star

Really disappointed. Ordered via deliveroo, took 2 hours to arrive. Meat dry and tasted old. Chips, salad and pitta very soggy. Hairs in food.

Arrived 45 mins late, the driver was annoyed because they couldn’t be bothered to look for my actual address Instead of just the postcode. The food was soggy and cold, barely edible and the chips were stale… Gross

Ordered food at 4.45 for a 6pm delivery as i had a taxi booked for 6.45pm. )You would have thought this woukd be plenty of time to cook it) obviously not as it it had not arrived by 6.15pm so I rang the restaurant and was told ot was 2mins away, half six past and it still hadn't arrived so I rang again and yet again told it was 2 mins away. A minute later I had a text stating it would be delivered at 6 45 so I rang rhe restaurant and cancelled the order. The following day I had a text stating they would not reimburse me and I hope I e joyed my food . I didnt even eat receive the food so how could I enjoy the food . Scandalous

ordered a fairly large amount of food for family sharing which arrived in 20 mins which was a little concerning. cheesy chips with four types of cheese could say there was at least 2 types on them hardly any of the toppongs specified for the price of 7.50 rip off. mixed rotiiserie tray donner meat extremley dry inedible etasted like leftovers from yesterday. halloumi looked liked it never saw the fryer still very hard. chips well undercooked cold and soggy. left me feeling very ill. Not good as this has been recommended many times to me. Best part was the can of coke.

Ordered from here food was cold took over an hour to come and not worth the money tried to ring up and complain but no one would answer

Not bad, but overpriced for what it is. Took an hour and a half to get food delivered...the chips were stale tasting and although we ordered donuts. We did get double what we ordered (as a gesture for time taken at a guess) but the dough tasted under cooked. One blessing is the meat was nice and we liked the sauces.

Really disapponting. Was really looking forward to some Greek food as we can't get it where we live. Ordered online and was told the order would be delayed by 35 minutes - arrived at the revised time and picked the order up - it was in a warming oven. We got the impression that it had been cooked ready for the original time as the meat was dry and chewy and the chips just about cold. It wasn't cheap either so won't be going back

We had a lovely falafel wrap made vegan with a different sauce, huge portion and very tasty, thank you 😊 . The owner was very accommodating and friendly, excellent food and service 5 stars 🌟

I don’t what these 1 star review people are talking about, they wouldn’t know good food if it smacked them in the face. This is the best Greek street food in town and the and the other good thing about it, it’s family owned and run as well as businesses should be nowhere days.

Overpriced, old dry chips, chewy meat. It was our first time ordering and we won’t be ordering again. The only good thing about it was the quick delivery and the food was piping hot.

Ordered a delivery, delivered on time food stone cold and the wrap was stale not good at all. WONT BE USING AGAIN!!!

Honestly don't even bother. Bought 2 wraps and 1 cheesy chips first of all how can you charge £5.50 for half cooked frozen chips covered in cheddar from bookers wholesale. Dreadful the wrap was sub par £26 of food anyone could make for half the price best thing was the can of coke that still cost £1.50

I’ve been going here for more than a year now, back when he just had a food truck, and everything I’ve had is brilliant, gyros are like the perfect all in one meal, and all the other stuff is great too. I had a lamb kleftiko this time and let me tell you, you’ve never had lamb as tender as this, all wrapped in filo pastry with spinach and feta with a Greek salad on the side, my wife had moussaka which was also delicious. Sometime there is a bit of a wait for food but it’s always been totally worth it.

Ordered from here and have to say its the tastiest takeaway food i've had in a long time. Simply delicious

Ordered £29.74 of food at 7 to pick up at 8.15. Waiting another 20 minutes for food to be sorted , only me and another girl Waiting. So didn't appear to be that busy , the phone was constantly ringing nobody answered it. Got home only to find my wife's choice a chicken gyro wrap was missing , £10 pounds worth , to far to drive back. The food was NOT very nice at all. Folks avoid pick another fast food outlet. Will not be going back .

I was excited to try this new Greek place, but the experience was way below expectations. The customer service is non existent. We ordered via mobile and went to collect it. The guy serving us was rude, snappy and refused to give us the 10% off and free doughnuts which were mentioned on the website. And the food did not compensate for the bad service. We got a pork gyro wrap. The food was cold and the chips tasted like they were a day old. Will not buy from here again.
