Awful hard chicken pieces and undercooked potatoes . Manage put phone down , said no one else complained ! Well I am !

Absolutely diabolical!!! Cold and no taste! When I called to complain I was told that it couldn’t be cold and that I should have called within 1/2 hour!! That it was my fault!!! No apology or anything! I didn’t call right away as I was seeing to the kids! We won’t be back!

Ordered a family deal of one large half and half and chicken strippers. Food arrived late so was cold. Chicken starter was ok but nothing special. The pizza was just dreadful. The so called Hawaiian must have had two pieces of ham on it with the rest being made up of pineapple. The biggest issue though was the fact it was as flat as a pancake and had a biscuit consistency. So annoyed I called and asked to speak to the manager. Apparently he was at their other store in Hertfordshire! He eventually called me back to argue that the food was good quality. Told me he would give me a refund but this hasn’t happened. Will never use them again.

Just had a meal consisting of 2 pizzas and a starter. The starter was ok but the pizzas were very expensive and extremely poor. Toppings were on the frugal side and both pizzas were very dry. Worst I’ve had locally. Not recommended.

Good looking Pizzas , via a Home Delivery. Nice toppings , but the dough was a little sweet for my tastes. Put me off further orders.

Ordered from here yesterday, my usual pizza of ‘the greek’ and a pepperoni. Always order the Greek because of the great flavour combination of the feta and little green chillies. Pizza came and had no chillies on like it always had, ordered 3 honey mustard dips at a cost of £2.40 extra and these didn’t arrive either. Rang to complain and response was “the powers above tell us not to put chilli on the pizza anymore” no apology or mention of refund for sauce that wasn’t delivered. Been a regular customer here for quite some time and have always recommended to friends but won’t be anymore. Sad state of affairs really when usual favourite pizza is not the same and can’t even get an apology or money back.

Dreadful. For the last couple of years I've had takeaway from here once a month. The last two have been awful. No BBQ sauce on the pizza either time, the first time I complained and they didn't care. Ordered double feta cheese and got 12 pieces. Garlic pizza sticks was just buttered bread. I won't order again.

When ordering from here I have found that lately it takes ages for delivery. I don't know why this is. Also I feel like the quality of food is subpar to other options but it's okay when there is no other option.

We ordered a large pizza to share - We collected it, ate it at home and It wasn’t nice at all , had a weird taste to it. We didn’t eat it all , even my husband couldn’t eat it all and he never says no to food Within two hours of us eating it my daughter was throwing up , I had been sick , and he was feeling queasy Never ever again will we go here !!

Placed an order on Just Eat for delivery and was given a delivery time of an hour later. The food actually took 2 and a half hours from placing the order to be delivered! The pizza was cold and the cookie was rock hard not soft and gooey as advertised! Needless to say I am not impressed and will not be ordering from here again. Definitely wasn't worth the wait!

Without any close competition this is THE BEST place for pizza in chesterfield. Consistency is important for a regular customer and of all the potential places you can order pizza in chesterfield, Papa John's is the best. The also taste the best and delivery is usually quicker than the allocated time. Couldn't recommend anywhere more!

Had a takeaway from here a while back, the food was lovely although slightly overpriced but was of good quality. Delivery was also on time,

Order online last night.Great pizzas, quick delivery much better quality than Pizza Hut or domino's. Would order again.

We're huge Papa John fans and the one at the top of the road is frequently visited by us. Although the pizzas are expensive there's usually a good deal to make them cheaper. There's no better place than here for pizza and although on occasion our order has been wrong they've always stood by the papa john guarantee to replace it straight away.

We ordered a delivery. Lovely hot food, wide selection, pizzas were really nice included stuffed crust. Not keen on their sauces but i prefer real mayo. I will order from them again.

Went here for a change. It worked out much cheaper to order over the phone than online. All just not as good as Domino's including the sauces. The bread was delicious.

Premium pizza but very good. Delivered quickly, hot and well cooked. Wouldn't buy unless there was offers involved because it just doesn't offer value for money at full price. But we got a decent discount online. Would definitely recommend but only with a discount involved.
