Papa Johns in Chesterfield

3rd time I've ordered and they've missed out toppings. 2nd time 4 were missed. Why can't you get it right?!. I'm sick of calling you up about this. First 2 times they've sent out replacements but I'm sick of having to do this.

I recently ordered from Papa John’s Chesterfield, which is takeaway and delivery only, and had a great experience. I went with the Chicken Club, customised with Tabasco sauce, one of my favorites. The pizza was delicious, with fresh toppings and just the right kick from the Tabasco. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for tasty pizza and quick, friendly service, this is a great spot.

Wont deliver. Lost a repeat customer.

Everything tastes amazing, cooked perfectly and to a high stabdard. Staff, including delivery drivers are very friendly, courteous and helpful.

arrived earlier than expected which was a nice surprise the food was excellent very tasty I ordered to big but I was so hungry and it was so nice I finished it of would definitely consider ordering again

Ny order was placed at 16:48 on Friday 1st March for delivery at 18:45. I checked the app as the order hadn't arrived at 7pm and it showed the food was out of the oven and being quality checked at 18:26. I continued to track the order and could see it was given to a despatch driver around 19:05 - living less than 10 minutes from the store I expected the order shortly thereafter. The order changed to delivered at 19:20 but still nothing had arrived. I rang the store and spoke to someone and they said the delivery was still on the way. When I asked if the pizza and sides had been ready and sat waiting since 18:26 I was advised it was an "app error" and the food would arrive fresh. At 19:38 the delivery driver came with the food, almost an hour late and at the doorstep I checked the temperature - the food was cold! I spoke with the driver and explained it was not acceptable and he offered to take the food back and return with another order; I told the driver to return the food; I did not want a replacement and that I wanted my money back as by the time replacement food was made and despatched it would be literally hours late. I have checked my bank account this morning and can see the order amount has been taken from my account for food which was not acceptable and was returned at the doorstep due to being cold and over an hour since cooked. Warning to everyone; these people are thieves and will take your money for an order that was never fulfilled.

Ordered twice from Papa Johns Chesterfield and on both occasions the orders were incorrect. On the second occasion the store offered a free pizza next next time i placed an order. When i called today with my order number and explained what was offered I was told no and to call head office. Shocking customer service, a real shame because the food itself is pretty good.

Papa Johns partnered with esave is robbing people through e-save scam. They sign you up without noticing and charging your card for years. Do not buy Papa Johns and support their scam business.

Pizza was too salty. I didn’t enjoy it at all

Food was delivered around an hour and a half after ordering and was cold, rang the store the staff just hang up on you and say manager not in speak to headoffice!

Awful hard chicken pieces and undercooked potatoes . Manage put phone down , said no one else complained ! Well I am !

I don’t very often leave reviews but this one is a must……the pizza, chicken bites and potato tots were all absolutely disgusting. Will never order again and wouldn’t recommend.

Food was late. It was like warm and the crusts were burnt and hard.

We had the most delicious pizzas from here that were cooked to perfection. The guy who served as was very friendly and helpful. This is definitely my favourite branch of pizza takeaway.

Ordered many times, never had any issues. Food is always fresh & hot. Never any missing items and it comes fairly quickly. Delivery drivers are always pleasant as well.

Really nice pizza , was just a little cold on arrival

Placed my order to come at 8.30 in the evening, and at 7.10 (about ten minutes after placing) received a notification that it was with the driver and on its way. Ended up arriving about 20 to 8. Can't fault the food but the delivery time request clearly hadn't been read correctly. Just inconvenient because I had booked it to arrive at that time for a reason and ended up having to rush home early because it had been sent before it should have.

Always great when we order from here.. better than the rival pizza companies

Placed an order and the tracker updated to say it was delivered 23:03, just after closing, so couldn't ask why it hadn't actually been delivered. Called the next day, first time they said they will call me back in 15 minutes, an hour later I called again and they said nobody was around to help but took my details. Next evening I rang again to be told that the driver claimed they had delivered and that we would have to take it up with their head office - nobody came to our house, we have a Ring doorbell, they have lied to us, wasted my time, and I'm still working to recover the money they basically stole from me.

Don’t use this place!!! Didn’t even bother turning up in the end, had to go and collect ourselves. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!

We don't get Papa John's often, but when we do it's a guaranteed hit with all the family, especially because we have a household of intolerances and allergies making ordering out tricky. It's just a great experience every time.

A bit on the expensive side but really good tasting pizza and staff friendly & helpful.

Well itbwas basically bread and bbq sauce i foubd one piece of chicken was a joke and xxl pizza pizza hut sized pizza. So 2 for ibe pizza hut in future

Beware of the scam offered to you when ordering on-line from Papa John's - They work with a company called Complete Save, who will take £15 per month after the first 30days for nothing

The pizza was disappointing with scant topping. I also ordered a side of the basic pots which was not how it appeared on the photo. The whole meal was barely warm

Ordered a few times from this branch and never again. I hate to complain during the pandemic as I’m also in customer service jobs and the phone staff here are so dismissive and rude when I called to make a polite and basic request, and tonight the mushrooms were missing on the pizza and the toppings that were in there were very scarce. When you’re paying £21 for a pizza you expect lots of toppings, but it basically just tastes like cheese and tomato. Go to dominos or Caprinos instead, much better customer service and value for money there.

when you get pizza from here it will make you think all other pizza is bad. xD

45 min late for a 50£ stone cold pizza, guy on phone said I will have to wait 1 hour and return the cold pizza, he refused to give me a refund

Tasted great came red hot made a massive change to get a take away at the correct temperature with no mistakes on the order A+++

Not impressed at all, lamb shish just isn't nice. Should be cubed lean and marinated, these were just overcooked slices and gristley. Salads ordered were not as described. They delivered lots of extras that were not ordered and they just went in the bin. Donner meat average and the chips were ok. I wouldn't advise ordering from here because we never will again.

Never had issues until tonight, food arrived cold and they did nothing to resolve my complaint. Clear from previous reviews that this is a common occurrence and management clearly have no desire to acknowledge this issue to improve for next time.

Only good thing about this was the driver was so sound! I asked for a pizza with no cheese and they brought me one with cheese! when I said I didn’t want it the driver tried sorting it for me! But when I called the store the owner or manager was very rude and basically said it was my fault and if I ever ordered again I needed to not only leave a note but call as well about it or I’d have to just have what I was given!!! Tbh I’ll never order from here again it’s much easier to go to a dominos or a Pizza Hut instead and you would get a lot better customer service as well!!! Poor

I ordered on time same day but the restaurant wasted my time with is ridiculous

Ordered a Hawaiian pizza as a treat for my daughter. Food was hot and on time but literally only 11 pieces of pineapple on the entire pizza (my daughter counted in disappointment) and as controversial as pineapple on pizza might be we kinda expected a bit more pineapple since its a ham and pineapple pizza… plenty of ham and cheese though.

We ordered food at 7:30, it was estimated to come at 8:10 but it didn’t, we tried calling many times and they answered only a couple times and we ended up having to order it again the order finally came at 9:30 and was missing a pizza and a side, won’t be ordering from here again, want a full refund

The order came very late and cold. The pizzas were like cardboard

Placed an order at 3:38pm for collection at 4:30pm. When we collected the pizza it was not hot, and when I called to complain, I was told that they make the order at the time the order comes through regardless of the time you choose for collection. So we collected an order that had been sitting on the counter for almost 45 minutes prior to the time we ordered for collection. The customer service was absolutely terrible! I was told that it wasn’t their responsibility and that I have to call them up to tell them to make it fresh if that’s what I want, when I had already chosen the time for collection to be 4:30pm and not ASAP. Why on earth would anybody not want fresh food?

The pizza wasn’t very nice and there were ingredients added which I had requested to be changed. I wouldn’t eat there again to be honest.

Food stone cold. Sweet Potato base dryer than the sahara. Potato tots tasted like Lutosa Hash browns that had been microwaved and left to sit under a hot light for half an hour (I should know, i'm a Chef). Half of the toppings missing. Didn't realise 40% off meant effort too. Won't be back. Would be p*ssed if I'd have been payed full price for that.

This is my favourite place to get vegan pizza, sides and dessert. I have tried the other major names pizzerias and they pale into insignificance. Absolutely brilliant!!!

Pizza wasn't for me. Only good thing was a decent crust. The rest of it leaves a lot to the imagination. Only had 2 slices couldn't eat any more had to throw it away (not something l very often)

Tried ringing several times - no answer. Requested update - no response

Delivery time quoted as 1855, shop accepted order( an hours wait). Rang when 15 mins late. Was told it would be a further 15 mins late. After a further 25 mins I rang again. Finally arrived 50 mins late. Only for a part of the order to be missing. Had to call again and wait a further 10 mins for the rest of my order

Put our order in for delivery at 18:45...arrived at 20:05 after having to ring them and ask where our order was. We didnt get an apology or anything and by the time the food got here it was cold....food was alright but that and the service wasnt brilliant considering the price.

I complained to just eat. The side order was missing. The pizza was left outside on the damp floor. I threw the pizza straight in the bin out. Unable to eat due to my OCD.

Absolutely diabolical!!! Cold and no taste! When I called to complain I was told that it couldn’t be cold and that I should have called within 1/2 hour!! That it was my fault!!! No apology or anything! I didn’t call right away as I was seeing to the kids! We won’t be back!

Different family members have had regular deliveries from here and the last 3 have all caused stomach upsets, nausea etc. Won’t be ordering again. Avoid!

I requested no onions or bacon and the puzza arrived with both; could not enjoy as was sat picking it all off then had cold pizza as a result

The potato tots were cold, couldn't find any chicken on the pizza which was just warm. Definitely not worth the money
