King Kebab And Pizza House in Chesterfield

Quite frankly one of the worst takeaways in chesterfield. The garlic bread was ordered with extra cheese but was box standard generic. The 3 piece chicken and chips was the worst thing since the holocaust, there’s better £1 southern fried chick from Asda intact it maybe the same however deep fried for 90minutes beforehand tastes horrific. The kebab wrap has zero flavour and feel like it sped. 12 minutes in the microwave and become hard as hell. How this place has been open so long in chesterfield baffles me. This is horrific

I used to order from here regularly but I've now stopped. The delivery driver is extremely rude, banging hard on the door multiple times even after only waiting 20 seconds or more he also can't follow simple instructions such as coming to the back door. Rude to speak to like it's an inconvenience for him to deliver the food. The guys in the shop are nice and the food is generally quite good so it's a shame but I won't return anymore.

Unfortunately the quality is consistently bad. A tuna mayo potato doesn't ' have the tuna and mayo mixed in and when you do it yourself there's never enough. So I asked on my order for them to mix them and what came was mayo soup with some tuna floating in it. I'm sorry I can't understand how sobering so simple can repeatedly be made do wrong. This is the last time I'll be ordering as the price I just paid to bin 2 meals is ridiculous.

the order was wrong, they had given us extra chips in stead of onion rings, but the main issue was that they had added chilli to the pizza. i cannot eat spice of any kind so I couldn't eat the pizza.

ordered 2x Donner meat, jacket potato n chips. meat was gorgeous, but the chips were hard seemed to of been reheated, n the jacket potato was rock hard n very dry even tho I had butter, cheese n coleslaw, jacket seemed to b old which is prob why. would of been nice with garlic butter n put more in it or serve it separate so customer can put it all on themselves. will order from here again, as usually food is spot on.

Took over two hours to come. When we rang they seemed confused and asked if we wanted to place an order. When it finally arrived it was stone cold. Will never order from here again.

Forgot to take a picture of the kebab as went straight into the bin, some of the kebab was warm but the majority of it was stone cold with rock solid bits of meat. The meatfeast pizza was nothing more than a few bits of dried out kebab and a couple of pepperoni slices, also smothered in BBQ sauce. Absolutely disgusting

Vile, disgusting reheated garbage, straight into the bin. How anyone dares to serve that low level of what doesn’t resemble food is criminal, deserves to be closed down.

It took a long time to come, the garlic mushrooms were not breaded which was disappointing, but they were still tasty.

Our order was delivered to the incorrect address, the delivery driver phoned to say he had left it on our door step. I proceeded to tell him that this was not our address and he went back to the address and collected the food and bought it to us. The restaurant were rude and told us we were lying and shouted at my husband. Poor service and customer skills all round.

Nan bread was rock hard, not able to even eat this, the donner wrap came with chips & cheese inside it, this wasn’t as described on the menu, was our first time ordering from here & can safely say we won’t be ordering from here again!

garlic bread that came with the shoebox was rock hard and burnt, they couldn't be bothered to do another one so chucked the burnt one in the box. disgusting and very disappointing

Pepperoni pizza and kebab were beautiful, however burger was very tasteless. Order came and was missing the large cheesy chips we’d ordered.

Fresh salad, hot chips and kebab but lamb was cut into tiny bits and overcooked so tough to chew. It’s normally cooked beautifully.

Best takeaway I've had in a long time

I called to ask where our order was & they lied and said the delivery man tried contacting us. The delivery man had told the lady at the hotel reception that he didn’t have a contact name or number for us. So when we eventually got food it had been driving around for half an hour. So we got lukewarm food & dry. Awful customer service. Nearly £30 wasted.

it was the burger as I ordered a monster burger and you get bacon and Donner meat. but when I receive it hasn't got no Donner meat on it at all. this has happened 3 times now. I am very mad about how they rob you just for money not for quality on orders.

After a day hiking I was wary about ordering food from somewhere I don't know (not from Chesterfield) but it turned out great food arrived hot and prompt driver was polite and the food was amazing will definitely use if I'm round this area again

Pizzas are so good everything. They are always early, even if not definitely worth the wait.

The chicken portions looked and tasted like the had been cooked and the refried. The pizza wasn't much better but at least they was hot when delivered

Food had no taste to it. My sister ordered a burger with no salad and she had green stuff on her burger she didn’t know what it was and the burger bun was soggy. I ordered a portion of large chips and cheese with extra cheese the portion size wasn’t a large wasnt extra cheese on it either.

Amazing. Yet again. Pizza was lovely and crisp and cheesy! Kebab was amazing and chips lovely and crispy! Highly recommend.

Our very first order from here as our usual was closed. Have to say the food was excellent, the chicken was tasty, moist and so much of it. The salad was as fresh as could be. Very likely to be our new regular kebab shop. Overall very impressed.

Food has really gone down hill here. The quality has dropped & food has a strange aftertaste. Deliveries have gone from being early to bang on time or late & the past couple of times it’s been cold. Shame as this used to be my favourite takeaway but I think now it’s time to try elsewhere

The food was hot, delicious, great quality, cooked perfectly; neither greasy nor dry. It was packaged well, and the portion sizes were more than adequate. I was more than happy that the food was delivered before the estimated delivery time, but I can see how that could be frustrating to some. Maybe worth changing it to 'estimated delivery before'. I simply have nothing negative to say about the entire experience and I will be ordering from King Pizza & Kebab again 🙂

Very disappointing, first time we ordered the food was lovely and generous, tonight when we ordered, we had the mixed kebab and the lamb was missing. We phoned the takeaway and was told that this is how it comes and they won’t refund or replace it, won’t be ordering again! Not paying for something that I didn’t get, potential regular customer gone!

Really annoying when people cant just say sorry and accept their fault in service. According to this place tandori chicken in pizza add on is POWDER. obbiously not! just tryna get out refund. Also asked for decent amount of pizza sauce its asif he put as little as poss instead. food was fast & partner enjoyed his kebabb but was late so couldnt re order, he cant eat pizza either so went to waste. i will be getting a refund!

Absolutely ridiculous. We order a lot from here and they got the order wrong the man on the phone started swearing at us. We said we will request refund from just eat he says no you can’t do that when you next order I will add something on. When no I wanted the food tonight for a reason. He then tried to say we got the food 20mins ago which we didn’t it was infact 5 mins before we rang them we rang as soon as we realised the item was prepared wrong. Not my fault but the restaurant fault. Absolutely ridiculous service. We will no longer be ordering from them which is sad as we have ordered loads over the last 3 years.

Chips was frozen fry’s, left in the fryer too long, covered in cheap nasty cheese,

70 minutes for a Tuesday delivery, normally it’s 25. All food was cold on arrival, large chips was half the portion ,sorry guys, really disappointed tonight and we are regular customers.

There had been some snow, so I understood why it was later. I rang the restaurant for an update. The guy I spoke to was helpful and explained. He offered a complimentary drink. Thank you.

2 hours after the order was placed the food still hadn’t arrived, restaurant called who kept saying it was on its way. Eventually gave up and went to bed!

Would have been better but didn’t get my full order as forgot to send my drink but can’t fault the food because it was great.
