King Kebab And Pizza House in Chesterfield

If I could give this place a zero star then I definitely would have,vile inedible disgusting food,went straight in the bin.This has got to be the worst takeaway i have ever had.If anyone is even considering ordering from this place then please don't,do yourself a favour and save you're money!!!!

ordered 2x Donner meat, jacket potato n chips. meat was gorgeous, but the chips were hard seemed to of been reheated, n the jacket potato was rock hard n very dry even tho I had butter, cheese n coleslaw, jacket seemed to b old which is prob why. would of been nice with garlic butter n put more in it or serve it separate so customer can put it all on themselves. will order from here again, as usually food is spot on.

Forgot to take a picture of the kebab as went straight into the bin, some of the kebab was warm but the majority of it was stone cold with rock solid bits of meat. The meatfeast pizza was nothing more than a few bits of dried out kebab and a couple of pepperoni slices, also smothered in BBQ sauce. Absolutely disgusting

Took over two hours to come. When we rang they seemed confused and asked if we wanted to place an order. When it finally arrived it was stone cold. Will never order from here again.

It took a long time to come, the garlic mushrooms were not breaded which was disappointing, but they were still tasty.

Our order was delivered to the incorrect address, the delivery driver phoned to say he had left it on our door step. I proceeded to tell him that this was not our address and he went back to the address and collected the food and bought it to us. The restaurant were rude and told us we were lying and shouted at my husband. Poor service and customer skills all round.

Nan bread was rock hard, not able to even eat this, the donner wrap came with chips & cheese inside it, this wasn’t as described on the menu, was our first time ordering from here & can safely say we won’t be ordering from here again!

we order 3 kebab all with nan bread. we got stale wraps it was worse food I had for a long time

garlic bread that came with the shoebox was rock hard and burnt, they couldn't be bothered to do another one so chucked the burnt one in the box. disgusting and very disappointing

Pepperoni pizza and kebab were beautiful, however burger was very tasteless. Order came and was missing the large cheesy chips we’d ordered.

Fresh salad, hot chips and kebab but lamb was cut into tiny bits and overcooked so tough to chew. It’s normally cooked beautifully.

Best takeaway I've had in a long time

I called to ask where our order was & they lied and said the delivery man tried contacting us. The delivery man had told the lady at the hotel reception that he didn’t have a contact name or number for us. So when we eventually got food it had been driving around for half an hour. So we got lukewarm food & dry. Awful customer service. Nearly £30 wasted.

garlic bread was inedible. burnt & rock hard. pizza was average at best.

it was the burger as I ordered a monster burger and you get bacon and Donner meat. but when I receive it hasn't got no Donner meat on it at all. this has happened 3 times now. I am very mad about how they rob you just for money not for quality on orders.

After a day hiking I was wary about ordering food from somewhere I don't know (not from Chesterfield) but it turned out great food arrived hot and prompt driver was polite and the food was amazing will definitely use if I'm round this area again

Pizzas are so good everything. They are always early, even if not definitely worth the wait.

The chicken portions looked and tasted like the had been cooked and the refried. The pizza wasn't much better but at least they was hot when delivered

Food had no taste to it. My sister ordered a burger with no salad and she had green stuff on her burger she didn’t know what it was and the burger bun was soggy. I ordered a portion of large chips and cheese with extra cheese the portion size wasn’t a large wasnt extra cheese on it either.

Amazing. Yet again. Pizza was lovely and crisp and cheesy! Kebab was amazing and chips lovely and crispy! Highly recommend.

Our very first order from here as our usual was closed. Have to say the food was excellent, the chicken was tasty, moist and so much of it. The salad was as fresh as could be. Very likely to be our new regular kebab shop. Overall very impressed.

Food has really gone down hill here. The quality has dropped & food has a strange aftertaste. Deliveries have gone from being early to bang on time or late & the past couple of times it’s been cold. Shame as this used to be my favourite takeaway but I think now it’s time to try elsewhere

The food was hot, delicious, great quality, cooked perfectly; neither greasy nor dry. It was packaged well, and the portion sizes were more than adequate. I was more than happy that the food was delivered before the estimated delivery time, but I can see how that could be frustrating to some. Maybe worth changing it to 'estimated delivery before'. I simply have nothing negative to say about the entire experience and I will be ordering from King Pizza & Kebab again 🙂

Very disappointing, first time we ordered the food was lovely and generous, tonight when we ordered, we had the mixed kebab and the lamb was missing. We phoned the takeaway and was told that this is how it comes and they won’t refund or replace it, won’t be ordering again! Not paying for something that I didn’t get, potential regular customer gone!

Really annoying when people cant just say sorry and accept their fault in service. According to this place tandori chicken in pizza add on is POWDER. obbiously not! just tryna get out refund. Also asked for decent amount of pizza sauce its asif he put as little as poss instead. food was fast & partner enjoyed his kebabb but was late so couldnt re order, he cant eat pizza either so went to waste. i will be getting a refund!

Not warm enough this time round so wasn't happy

Absolutely ridiculous. We order a lot from here and they got the order wrong the man on the phone started swearing at us. We said we will request refund from just eat he says no you can’t do that when you next order I will add something on. When no I wanted the food tonight for a reason. He then tried to say we got the food 20mins ago which we didn’t it was infact 5 mins before we rang them we rang as soon as we realised the item was prepared wrong. Not my fault but the restaurant fault. Absolutely ridiculous service. We will no longer be ordering from them which is sad as we have ordered loads over the last 3 years.

Food just left at the door outside absolutely stone cold no knock no call just left to freeze shocking !

Chips was frozen fry’s, left in the fryer too long, covered in cheap nasty cheese,

70 minutes for a Tuesday delivery, normally it’s 25. All food was cold on arrival, large chips was half the portion ,sorry guys, really disappointed tonight and we are regular customers.

There had been some snow, so I understood why it was later. I rang the restaurant for an update. The guy I spoke to was helpful and explained. He offered a complimentary drink. Thank you.

2 hours after the order was placed the food still hadn’t arrived, restaurant called who kept saying it was on its way. Eventually gave up and went to bed!

Would have been better but didn’t get my full order as forgot to send my drink but can’t fault the food because it was great.

Average at best. Chicken was dry . Pitta was ripped open into bits. Not enough donner meat . Would have preferred a nan but option wasn't available on this kebab . Kebab all round poor for the price. Jacket spud was nice salad also. Not sure id bother again 🤷‍♂️

Nothing to say very bad in taste

Before I talk about the sauce for people who cba to read on: This place is amazing, they read notes, they will listen to requests (within reason) and see what they can do, the food is always well cooked, arrives hot and the portions are very reasonable for the price AND THEY LISTEN TO FEEDBACK! Also have the best chilli sauce for kebabs in Chesterfield. So this time I've had to wait till I'm finished to write the review, because unlike last time, the chilli sauce was so much less vinegary, so much more chilli flavour, thank you, I really appreciate that you guys listened. It's still more tangy than when I first ordered, which I'm pretty sure is years ago at this point but it's in a way improved from then because this batch was perfectly balanced, the tangy vinegar side of it didn't overwhelm the chillies but complimented them instead and with just the right amount of heat. The one I had years ago was scorchingly hot and probably too much for a lot of people lol. Whoever made it tonight, great work, the only downside was I couldn't finish more of it, because it was delicious.

We order from these guys a fair bit, it was a little late but was still good. The staff are great. Recommend them highly.

While I give this a 5 star because it's quality and speed and service that I think is befitting a 5 star, we need to talk about that chilli sauce real quick... Your chilli sauce used to be the main reason I'd order a kebab from you guys, infact it was the ONLY reason I bought a kebab ANYWHERE, you had that traditional home made kebab house chilli sauce, REAL kebab chilli sauce. I've not said anything about it for months because I thought maybe it would go back to how it was, but you've started cutting that sauce with either vinegar, or cheaper chilli sauce and it ruins the flavour, all you can taste in that chilli sauce now, is tangy vinegar overpowering everything, PLEASE go back to the OLD chilli sauce. These overly tangy, overly vinegary chilli sauces are exactly why I avoid buying kebabs nowadays and you were the only ones not doing it.

Can’t fault the food, the delivery was late but when I called the person who answered was very helpful and genuinely sorry, they were running late, that happens. We will definitely be ordering from here again
