Did not like the food. Calamari not fresh, tasteless, greek salat poor, tadziki did not taste well either, as well as lipia. Not recommended

just been here for a quick lunch and found everything really good. Nice service and delicious mezes.

Average food, nice atmosphere but be careful if you book with The Fork discount! The waitress pretended not to remember the discount (when she knew very well that we had booked with the Dork, so much so that when I arrived she already knew my name!!!!!). So we paid the total without 50% discount! A theft. And to make up for it, instead of canceling the transaction and giving us the correct discount, he offered us dessert (which we had already taken!). Buffoons. I will never come back here again, they see a young, foreign tourist and think they are taking advantage of her. We don't behave like that.

This place has incredibly poor customer service sat there for a good 15mins before we got up and walked out. Tried getting the eye of wait staff but they were fast to ignore us and serve people who had just been seated. When they saw us getting up one lady left the people she ignored us for and came running over another came over and said “what why you leaving” to which I said your customer service is poor. Shape up!

Came in as a couple last night after a long exhausting day. Automatically made to feel welcome, with kind staff. Olesia did a great job answering questions we had, and gave us the best service we’ve had anywhere before. 10/10.

We went there with a Groupon voucher and we don’t regret it at all. It was our first lunch in London and we recommend it to everybody else. They gave us a nice table inside and when the dishes came out, we started to lose our minds. Many were eaten, but both the lamb meatballs and the yellow java deserve a shotout. Especially the meatballs, they were just incredible. Also, for its location in the center of the city, the prices were really affordable. The service and the ambiende there are also top tier.

A busy Greek restaurant on St Martin's Lane, I enjoyed the rustic feel of the decor and the staff were excellent. Food is always good at The Reel Greek and this branch is no exception. Loads of choice including set menus which are good value. I did find the service a little quick if you want a relaxing meal, so maybe order in stages if you aren't in a hurry. Filo custard tart was amazing!

Reasonably priced food, good for a quick lunch. Restaurant itself is very cramped.

The food was nice but felt very rushed. We had both hot and cold food before receiving our drinks. The background music was very intense so the atmosphere was unpleasant.

Horrible food which they bring on these stupid big trays. It’s overpriced aswell as we payed £50 for food that was terrible. the greek kebabs were dry and felt as if they have been microwaved, the salad was some leaves and tomatoes thrown together, and EVEN THE CHIPS were oily, dry and hollow as if they have been fried 5 times. Do not recommend, there are much better options around to have a good meal ESPECIALLY in Central London.

Didn't realise this was a chain as it felt like a family run, very welcoming restaurant. It's central location meant the moderate prices were a welcome sight but this along with delicious, superb looking food made it a delight to eat here. We were do busy enjoying the food we didn't even take any photos! The cold meze dishes were amazing and the hot food was tasty and satisfying. The friendly, helpful staff made this a very pleasant experience. Would without a doubt recommend.

I know this goes against the normal ratings, but I found The Real Greek to be a huge disappointment. Absolutely bog standard food that felt like it was something you’d throw together at home. In fact, if I made it at home, I’d throw it out. Avoid.

Flipping lovely. Been to at least 5 different ones and they are all consistently good food, friendly service, authentic dishes and good value.

I would say, the fake Greek. #selfexplanatory. Extremely non tasty - not fresh. Worst Pita Bread and Greek Salad ever. Hospitality has no relation not whatsoever to Mediterranean / Greek.

Simply very disappointing / not authentic at all. No taste nor flavour. The bread was served to us with slush! Still frozen and a part of it was literally wet! As if it is been chewed on… by a child ….

The restaurant was good looking, with strong Greece vibes and confortable. The staff was nice, and let us in shortly before closing as long as we did the order quickly. I was expecting the food to be a bit better! I had the vegan meatballs, which were actually sausages that I didnt like and that disappointed me. The tomate sauce tasted homemade and was really tasty! I also had a greek salad, which was good but not amazing. The ingredients could be better! The Backlava was great :). One thing I have to add is the bathroom. I know it was end of the day, but the restrooms were really dirty and I was really uncortable going there.

Great food, great staff and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend. They squeezed us in without a reservation without a long wait time and came instantly when I accident knocked over a glass! Amazing service and great workers who are super friendly. The menu and the music is very authentically Greek!

We had the Greek Trio from the lunch menu: Greek Flatbread with two ramekins of Tzatziki and Houmous or Melitzanosalata then Chicken Skewer or Loukaniko Beef & Pork Sausage Skewer with chips (there are several other options but this covered the three of us). Plenty of choice for a very reasonable lunch - recommended.

We visited last evening, as we have always enjoyed our visits to The Real Greek restaurants, we were looking forward to our meal. To save time we went for the set meal for two. The starters were excellent, the main dishes came too soon and they were tepid but tasty, hence the 4stars. Regretfully the evening was totally spoilt by another guest in the restaurant who was loud, obnoxious and he swore almost the whole evening. His behaviour was pointed out by a group of women to the waitress but nothing was done by any member of staff or management! A lady on another table asked him to be quieter and stop swearing as he was upsetting their evening, he retaliated by being rude to them. We were also sitting at nearby table and I asked him to be more considerate as he was ruining our evening as well. From then on he continued to load and kept glaring/staring at me. I wanted leave but I was encouraged to stay by the people round me. Eventually he left with his female companion, unbelievably he put his hands on my shoulders, this is when my husband jumped up and confronted this awful man and so did the lovely ladies next to us. When we left we were offered a bottle of wine, but this wasn't appropriate as we were off to the theatre. It disappointed us that awful diner was able to ruin other diners evening without being challenged by the staff.

Arrived for lunch service was friendly but the standard of food was disappointing. The chicken on skewers was hard & overcooked. The food generally was not what I’d expected from the reviews. The overall cost for a mediocre meal was excessive.

Great for a quick pre theatre dinner. Service very quick. Food was good but nothing special. Got 50% off by booking via The Fork which made it a cheap meal. I’d be disappointed if I paid full price. Toilets need an update-seats were broken.

Came to real Greek for lunch with my mum and dad, first of all when we arrived we where ignored for a good while while the waitress at front of house stood in front of us on her phone with no communication to us at all, after a while another waiter came to our assistance and sat us down normally this wouldn’t cause me to leave a bad review but along with the 5 mezes we ordered, which 2 came to us burnt we ate them as we were in a rush and didn’t want to corse a scene. We have been to other real Greek restaurants many times and love there food but this particular chain let us down. I wouldn’t recommend coming here to any one. I hope the management and staff can take this on board to make other’s experiences better.

Family lunch. 7 people, nice welcome & ambiance. Cold meze to start, various skewers & wraps for mains & a couple of puds washed diwn with Greek beer & wine. All the foid was tasty. All had a good time.

I would rather call it: „Tapas Greak Style“ not very authentic greak food. The wine was good but not very well temperatured. Starter and main course were served at the same time. The sausage was burned and not grilled.

My friend and I ate here early yesterday evening. We had not booked and though the restaurant was very busy, they gave us a table. Most of the food was very good especially the salt cod fritters, the aubergine salad and the baklava but we were less keen on the chick pea filo parcels (filo was too thick). The service was excellent - fast and efficient and the two waitresses were unflustered and charming. The bill was very reasonable for central London.

Not particularly appetising good. Waitress failed to tell me that one item I ordered was unavailable until she brought other food. Then another waitress thought we hadn't ordered and tried to hurry us up because "the kitchen is closing in a few minutes." This was about 9.45 p.m.

Good service on a busy Saturday night, food came out quick which was good and it was plentiful. Had to catch the waitress eye for any more than initial drinls Quality seems to have gone down from previous visit maybe that's the way it is now with high costs. All in all an enjoyable evening

So disappointed, came here with a foreign friend to show them Greek food and left feeling rather embarrassed at selecting this place when Greek food I've had in the past has been great. I have been to The Real Greek at Tower Bridge and that one was miles better than this. Ordered the lamb skewer for example and the meat was so tough, hard to chew and virtually un removable from the stick that it was basically inedible, I could only magage it by taking small bites if at that, terrible overcooked lamb which is regretted ordering. The Greek salad was an absolute joke and was missing olives, seasoning and looked nothing like the pictures. The chips I had we're the only good thing but last time I checked chips arnt Greek and you can get that just about anywhere in London, so I don't think that says much. The vibe was nice, the shop is cute with a lovely entrance and the service is just okay, but my goodness I felt so annoyed to pay for what I got. Go here if you have some money to waste and don't mind potentially getting bad food but don't expect authentic Greek food, had way better elsewhere.

Very nice indeed! Good service, great portions, reasonable price, and fantastic food. Nice ambience too, small and friendly. The Greek dishes were of genuine quality, and nicely prepared. The Lamb meatballs were just rightly spiced and seasoned, and came in a lovely tomato sauce. I accompanied that with a good portion of Mediterranean rice. My wife had the vegan meatball gyro, with chips separate and not in the wrap, which they will do for you. Washed down with a good choice of wines, plus an Alpha Beer for me. Just needed a Greek beach to go with that!

Tasty, authentic Greek food in an intimate setting. Service was good, although my souvlaki had to be sent back, the staff were apologetic and sorted the problem quickly. Good kids menu.

I have visited this place on multiple occasions and it has never failed to amaze me. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate and the service was quick, personable and effective. The food was tasty and affordable. We tried the Tonia Buxton selection with the Greek Flatbread, Tzatziki, Spicy Feta Dip, Dolmades, Prawns, Pork Skewer, Lamb Meatballs and New Potatoes. All of them were amazing. Also, we tried the Makedonikos White and it was okay. We also often go to the Real Greek Strand and I have to say that this location is definitely my favourite. We will definitely be back.

Meal was average but not horrible . the lady behind the bar that seemed to be running the show was abrupt throughout the service and took it upon herself to take payment of the service charge without asking ! I haven’t got an issue with paying 10% BUT how rude just to take the full amount . The other staff were very helpful and offered the 10% back which I refused however , poor show to the rude lady ! Ruined the experience and left a bad taste

Great service, beautiful location and absolutely delicious food

Lovely little place which is part of a bigger chain. Decent menu with a good selection of traditional Greek food (the kids menu is reasonably priced with good portion sizes). Only marked down because one of our dishes was forgotten and arrived just before my son's desert but there was an apology and the bill was amended appropriately. Definitely worth a visit!

The food is beautiful here. Allergies are not a big deal. They just say, "Don't worry- we'll tell the kitchen" and monitor what you order. Staff are cheerful.
