The Real Food Cafe in Stirling

Great fish supper and burger for my boy, chips were lovely, well cooked, fresh and well priced, I would use this place again. We just piled in after a rugby match, so thanks for your help and kindness

Disappointing, re-heated stale food. Ambience was great with nice fire on chilly November day. Service system is unusual and very slow for such simple food. Less attention on trendy vegan options and more on freshly cooked food.

Stopped here on our way to Fort William and enjoyed it so much stopped here again on the way back. Food was superb, probably the best smoked Salmon I have tasted and the gentleman who served us was very jovial and made us feel very welcome. If you’re passing definitely worth stopping even just for a coffee and cake.

We would not go anywhere else for a stop over nowadays. We First visited the real food cafe 3 years ago and loved it. Absolutely fabulous food and rhe service is second too none. After a long, wet 14 miles on the West Highland Way where we finished feeling battered and bruised and not a little careworn, we were delighted to find the Real Food Cafe just a stones throw from our overnight stop. There was a lovely welcome and happily our timing gifted us a table. Service was quick and efficient and a lovely plate of haddock and chips, hot and freshly cooked appeared. Even better, they had three different local beers for us to enjoy. After a heavy day on the trail, this was perfect, our thanks to the team.

We visited here for dinner, we had to wait a couple of minutes for a table as it was very busy but we were quickly seated. We all got battered haddock with chips mushy peas and tartar sauce. It was the best fish and chips any of us had had in years. Beautiful light crispy batter, and it wasn't greasy. It was a generous portion of fish and chips, and the homemade mushy peas are the best! We realised that they also served breakfast so we returned the following morning and had an excellent breakfast with really good coffee. It is definitely the best place in Tyndrum to eat.

Busy but efficient service, bacon roll was excellent value for money, laden with scrummy bacon and piping hot. We also really enjoyed watching the huge range of birds attracted by the numerous bird feeders outside

Wonderful and fresh fish and chips! Good value. Off street parking. Friendly staff. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. Clean bathrooms. Busy place.

The first part of our visit consisted of negotiating a deeply inefficient table-allocation and ordering process, which wasn't a good start. OK, they were busy, but to make customers wait outside for a table, and then the staff member who was supposed to be dealing with the queue wander off and not return while tables emptied was juat silly - and led to loads of people turning up and just charging in, taking tables while those who has been told to wait were still waiting. Having finally got a table, we then found that we had to join a long queue to order the food, too. When it finally arrived (55mins after we had arrived), we were very disappointed at the size of the portions. Apart from the (far too dry) macaroni cheese, it was tasty enough, but very, very poor value. Don't get me wrong, this is still better than the execrable Green Welly Stop, but take our advice and just avoid Tyndrum entirely.

Abrupt staff, not got a good system running at all, the lady at the cash desk looked run off her feet. Although she was quite rude to the customers in front, they actually left because of that! Maybe management or owners should re think that system. Was shouting back and fourth between staff. I'm glad we got something to takeaway so we could leave. Food was ok :)

Jasmine served our delicious coffee with a smile and excellent banter. Worth a visit for this alone. The espresso was also fantastic, strong and enjoyable

Excellent spot! Could not say more good things analyst this spot. Very inclusive for the whole family and those with dietary restrictions. They have GF, vegan, vegetarian & standard options. Something for everyone! They also have recycling stations, bike parking, dog wash station and boot wash station. The service was excellent and the coffee was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend if you are in the area! Thank you real food cafe staff for a great morning start!

Argyll you are so lucky to have the Real Food Café, I absolutely love this place! From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed with smiles by such lovely staff - nothing is too much trouble no matter how crazy your order is. The only problem is how to fit in everything you want. Special shout out to the best onion rings in Scotland, chips the yummiest I have tasted for a long time, the freshest fish, 🐟 and the absolute ⭐️ of this all singing all dancing plate of food the homemade tartar sauce -yes please at least two portions please! This cafe is a godsend. Food is gorgeous, the sausage and chips is amazing!!! Great quality sausages, hope they keep them!!! Chef Angel cooks the food to perfection. Jasmine at front of house is a joy, so friendly and helpful. Always busy but service is brilliant, never a long wait. Doggy friendly with even a bit to wash muddy paws!!! Nothing us a problem to staff here. As you can guess, I highly recommend stopping here.

I cannot praise enough the fish & chips from here...The best Breaded Haddock and crispy tasty chips ( great coffee too ! The staff are so friendly yet efficient. Wish i lived nearer

Having been dozens of times for either breakfast or fish & chips (and always being further tempted by their amazing freshly baked cakes), today I finally managed to try one of their burgers. And it was well worth the wait. I picked the quarter pounder Scotch cheese burger with bacon and chips. Top quality fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked and served with a smile, it did not disappoint. My only problem now is deciding between fish & chips or burger and chips next time I pop in on my motorbike. Thanks again, wonderful as always.

Great fish and chips - and lots of other options - served in a very friendly and super efficient manner by our waitress Jasmine. Considering how busy they are, the service here was exceptional. They accommodated our group of 9 with no delay, despite being very busy.

Gluten free fish and chips were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! Chef cooked my meal wore PPE and delivered the food direct from the kitchen to my table NOT put on the pass!!!! A GRADE AWARD FROM COELIAC UK!!! And a grade award from me too!!!! On top of fish and chips, there was also a fantastic gluten-free menu !!!

We camped along the road at Tyndrum holiday park and walked along for a bite to eat. The place was so busy but the atmosphere due to staff was great. This was our first visit to the cafe and it was somewhere I’ve looked at when passing on the A82 many times. Needless to say it didn’t disappoint. The Fish and Chips was some of the best I’ve ever had and the service from Front of house staff member Jasmine was incredible. For a busy service, she made everyone feel welcome and looked after and was happy to chat which gave a lovely personal feel. All round great experience, would definitely visit again.

Have made this a must do stop off on our regular trips to Mull from Oxfordshire. The Scottish breakfast is superb - fresh food, piping hot and great value. The staff are wonderful - friendly and efficient. Great coffee as well served with a smile! Don't drive past!

Not a complaint more just for feedback. Was disappointed with my visit here. The portion sizes used to be generous however today when I received my order, it came in a small plastic bowl which didn’t hold much.
