The Range in Wyre Forest

Thought we would have a coffee and a piece of cake. Virtually no customers, no staff visible and very small pieces of cake on display at exorbitant prices. No one bothered to come to serve us so we went to Sainsburys café. I would hazard a guess it was much better.

12.50 lunchtime and apparently too busy to serve hot foot, or even a sandwich there were 7 people in the cafe ! How quiet must it be to buy a sandwich! Place was filthy. No I won’t return Costa is next door !

We visited Dee Dee's Cafe and ordered the Chicken Goujons. They arrived looking very pale, mildly warm and with the consistency of rubber. No knife could cut them, they could not be bitten or chewed and they needed a considerable force to tear them apart. Also the goujons were 4th choice as no pies, no fish and no mac'n'cheese. This has scored 1/5 only because the cup of tea was OK. The lad servicing said he usually works in the furniture department. He really had no place running a kitchen and a cafe. I'd be interested to see his Food Hygiene qualifications. This is surely one place to avoid.

I came her for some food today with my family and was served by 2 lovely young ladies. Food came out really quick and was good! Will be back

Awful- asked for a breakfast bap but no baps as all frozen - asked for a cream tea but no cream available!! So had 2 lattes- no coffee taste at all and got to be the weakest drink ever - Costa coffee apparently but clearly not Costa quality - waste of money and time - dreadful service and customer service as when asked why it was so weak got told well you had enough coffee in it - shrugged shoulders and walked away!!!

Coffee luke warm and weak and also no flat white despite cups saying Costa. Lift in need of a clean other than that the store is ok

Came shopping with my family at this range, and decided to have a bit to eat seeing as it was lunch time. Dee dees cafe was the obvious choice. Ordered, food and sat down. I had a chicken and cheese panini, I had to get a magnifying glass out to find the chicken. My partner's food and child's food wasnt even being cooked until I asked where it was 15 mins later. And when the chips arrived they where practically raw. For the price and what you get I would not recommend this cafe unless absolutely starving and you need food immediately. Only positive staff where very friendly. I couldn't fault them at all. Just shame on the food point. Thank you for reading my review. This is out the chips arrived. Example on photo.

With Kidderminster being my local range, I have visited many times. I've had a number of issues with prices not being placed with the correct item (scanning at the till at different prices) I've had this problem that many times I can't remember! The toilets are disgusting and very dated! Some staff are extremely rude, unhelpful and look miserable. I think I've had my fare share of unpleasant shopping experiences at the range, I think I'll chose to go else where from now on.

Most reviews on here seem to be about the store although this review page is for the restaurant (Dee Dees). Quick, efficient service. Coffee was good and the restaurant clean. Plenty of choice in cakes etc.

Customer service was absolutely shocking, no one there to help you look around and ask about the furniture we wanted to purchase! We then went out into the garden centre and the man was very very rude, my partner was vaping and didn't realise we couldn't as it was outdoors the man told us not to so we apologised and he then gave a dirty look and made us feel so uncomfortable! Will not be returning, am extremely angry with this visit!

Terrible customer service. Cashier was bamboozled & overwhelmed by one shopping trolley two people’s shopping which was going to be separated and paid for separately by me at the till. I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong or intending not to pay!A tiny space to load goods up and pack from. No offer to help instead I received several sarcastic comments from the cashier who pestered for payment- which you’d have once all goods are scanned and I have finished packing. Many other staff who could have assisted with packing or even carrying large items to cars for customers stood chatting near the exit. The only staff member who was helpful was on the entrance asking you to wear face masks . This is not a poor experience because of COVID-19 this would constitute as poor customer at any normal time too. Shame as the precautions for Covid are in place and I’d of thought retailers would like customers to keep spending! I won’t be going back to this store unless absolutely desperate but please do lose the sarcasm .

Visited today for essential items. Well managed as far as coronavirus safety at entrance and tills. Well stocked throughout. Queued briefly but, a couple went to the marshal and flashed an NHS ID badge and were allowed to 'jump' the queue. Were seen casually mulling around picture frame area (priority, what priority!!!?) Clearly abuse of privilege which we thought was for food stores not general stores. Stop NHS staff jumping the queue please.

Gotta love the range, great for hobby crafts and household furniture, something for everyone and usually has items I can't find anywhere else. Staff are pretty friendly.

Recently visited the coffee shop in the Range in Kidderminster Good value for a quick cofffee and a nice piece of cake..made shopping so much better.

Average cafe selling snacks, cakes and drinks. Not very good quality consequently quite expensive for what it is. Not particularly nice surroundings. Ok if you are overcome with fatigue as plenty to look at inshore.

Decent all round shop,they sell virtually anything and everything.i wouldn’t say it’s cheap but you do get quality for your money.xmas decorations are very good too

Always a good cup of coffee here. Sometimes have a piece of cake as well. Service generally quick and friendly. However can get busy sometimes which slows service as never seems to be many staff. Seating area is generally nice and tidy.
