Really friendly and always on time

Driver couldn’t find location and I spent several phone calls trying to direct him but he couldn’t understand. Food eventually arrived cold.

love the food from here, quality of the chicken breast is lovely, keep up the good work.

Bland flavours, not a great meal.

As an Indian, Raj has become my go to for good spicy Indian food.The quality and quantity has always been good and consistent. Especially love the samosas! Wish they would provide papadoms along with a big order.

Beautiful meal. Good portion with plenty of meat. Naan nice and big but not very garlicky for a "garlic naan".

Everything was delicious, one of the best lamb bhunas I’ve had in a while and the naan had the perfect amount of garlic and bread. Couldn’t ask more for a birthday dinner

let's start with the fact that the food took 2 hours to deliver. we called after 1.5 hours to be told yeah it's on its way, even though the app said delivered. we called again at 2 hours to hear"oh that is a long time". delivery driver had no clue why it was so late. awful service. food was actually decent but the whole experience was abysmal.

Thanks for a lovely authentic Indian meal. The share platter was delicious and offered a variety of starters … I loved my korma. The young waiter was so pleasant as was the lady who served us . Our plates were totally emptied … thanks Raj will be back . Kathy

Be careful if you’re vegetarian! Have had bits of chicken in vegetarian sauces multiple times- they’ve clearly just scooped it out from pots of meat dishes. I haven’t ate meat in 12 years and eating here is the closest I’ve come to accidentally eating it. We always order a takeaway for collection. Tonight was the 3rd time in a row that I’ve got home and found bits and pieces of chicken in a vegetarian dish. Since we drive to pick it up, the first two times it happened I didn’t call to complain. I stressed again the next time I was ordering over the phone that bits of chicken had ended up in it the previous time and it couldn’t be eaten. Tonight I stressed again that I was ordering a vegetarian dish but when we got home, there was still bits of chicken. They said they’d make a replacement if we came and collected it (a fair distance) so we drove back over to pick it up. We checked it in the car and there were still bits and pieces of chicken in the replacement. So that was clearly just scooped out of a pot of chicken tikka masala again. Took it back in to hand it back and they made another replacement. We didn’t bother checking the 2nd replacement before we left and just headed home, as by this point we were already completely. Came home to the rest of the food that at this point, was freezing and had to be reheated. £50 on three separate occasions that was wasted when you end up just eating the sides. Checked the 2nd replacement dish when we got home and we aren’t convinced this was made vegetarian either. This place offers vegetarian options and you’d expect them to be vegetarian. Meat in a vegetarian meal three times in a row is a joke and we won’t be back.

Orders from here and will never again .it took 1hr and 50 minutes for food to come . The food was cold and soggy from sitting in a paper bag . No help or consideration revived from restaurant. Food was unbeatable.

Writing this with tear drops on my screen, the peshwari spiritually awakened me, ive given up my bad ways and reconciled with my loved ones. they accept me again, as the peshwari accepted me. i couldnt have done this without you. i have gained custody of my children AND a new go to restaurant!

Take away. Ordered a pasanda and a tikka Masala with other items. When we got home both curries looked and then tasted the same. Too late to start going back. Quite expensive for a take away so disappointed when we got home to discover the wrong order. Plus we were the only ones in the restaurant when ordering and it took ages - still didn't get it right. Whatever curry we got we ate as we were starving and it was nice.

2 1/2 hrs wait for food because the driver delivered it to the wrong address is absolutely ridiculous

The best Indian takeaway we’ve had in Belfast. We recently moved to Belfast and have been working our way around all takeaways and so far, this has been the very best! We ordered chicken tikka chilli masala, pilau rice, garlic naan, popadoms and all of the dips. Beautiful depth of flavour to the chilli masala with a good kick of chilli and lots of garlic, large skewered chicken pieces and a generous portion. Naan was fresh, dips were in larger pots than other takeaways so plenty for 2 people, fluffy pilau and fresh popadoms. Friendly service too. We’ll definitely return to sit in.

Standards are really slipping. Far far far too much food colouring being used. I won't mark them down because I've had many good meals from The Raj but I'd be very hesitant to order again. Please ask the new chef to stop ruining the food with additives.

Bizarrely, I find myself having to give a 1 star review for food I never got to sample, and a 1 star review for a delivery time that never happened. This privilege has cost me in excess of £50 tonight, and naturally, I am disgusted. This money is being sought from my bank account. Of course, the restaurant is now closed 🙄.

Haven't ordered from here in a good while. The food came in good time, was piping hot and very tasty. Only negative was that they never sent any poppadoms, even though £40 was spent. They are the only place I know that doesn't send a few complimentary poppadoms.

Best biryani I've had in ages. Full of flavour and full of chicken too. The portion was huge so as it was a take-out, I had it the next day too.

This unassuming homely venue on the Lisburn Road near Adelaide train station and the Police Station is so welcoming and serves the best and most authentic Indian meal I have ever eaten in Belfast or on my travels. The 4 of us visiting on a family birthday were made to feel very special. A little jewel of a place.

Ate here last night had two wowcher voucher deals worth 50 pounds off the bill, the waiter said he accepted them but when it came to discounting it off our bill he said only one worked. I showed him the receipt for two but he made me pay an extra 44 pounds. The food was really overpriced and the chicken curry was bland, the staff were rude and just there to take your money no customer service. The portions were small and really expensive. No atmosphere in the restaurant so many other great places to eat in Belfast don't bother with this expensive, no atmosphere restaurant they are only interested in taking as much money off you as possible.

I and my friends went to there on Sunday for the dinner. The stuff are really sweet. The environment is also very nice, giving classic vibe. I had Roshani, which was so good with garlic nan. I recommend that dish especially.

I had the dinner with my friends last Friday. I enjoyed Paeshwari Nann which was amazing and the staffs were so friendly and they offered amazing service. Also, the price was reasonable. Overall, 10 out of 10.

The Raj has been my favourite for years. Anytime im anywhere else, I compare it to here.. Staff are as friendly as can be, cleanliness and comfort are top shelf. Less atmospheric, more Ambient in terms of vibe. 10/10. Will always chose the Raj! Cheers...

Estimated delivery was one hour after the order was placed, whixh fine! But, I got a notification to say that the food was en route at the estimated time. Clearly the restaurant trying to hit their targets with JustEat. It arrived an hour later and after I had to chase it. This isnt the first time in this restaurant which really puts me off. If the food is gonna take some time, just say it so people can decide if they are in a position to wait.

Took two hours to arrive and when it did, masalla sauce everywhere and poppadoms smashed to pieces. Normally no issues here but not impressed this time.

Ive ordered from here multiple times and was asked if I wanted hot or medium. I went for medium and it was ridiculously hot. I can take the heat but this was exceptional. Very disappointed this time.

The food was really lovely and staff were nice but got the notification saying food was ready and then had to sit and wait another 20 minutes for the order. Another woman sat beside me also said she had waited over half an hour after being told hers was ready too. Would rather have just been told when it was actually ready so I wasn’t sat inside waiting on the food.
