OK so it's not going to everyone's favourite pub. A bit old fashioned and it was dead on a Friday night when I last visited just myself and a friend and two other blokes. It's a proper local. I've been in after work and it's full of people who all know each other. No mobile phones or electronic devices allowed (Sam Smiths brewery rules). They do however serve very reasonably priced beer of which I can only vouch for the dark mild which is excellent.

Great pub but needs sky sports and music to bring it up to date .

Great pub and great people but overpriced for what you get no tunes and no sport's TV and no phone's omg what's happened to it over the years I think the owner has issues 🤔

This place is dreadful. The whole place stinks of stale urine and thats with a mask on and all doors and windows open!! They also have many signs telling you that you are not permitted to swear, make loud noise and absolutely no mobile phones ( which is ironic, as you have to use your phone for track and trace before you csn sit down). None of that is too big an issue. But, the terrible stench of pee is unbearable...finished my drink and got out.

Absolutely dreadful experience. Ordered a diet coke which was disgusting - flat and tasted horrible. When I took it back to the bar, the barmaid held it to her face, sniffed it, gave it back and said it was just their brand. Also, it's a cash only bar.
