Traditional pub with a selection of good ales from the Izaak Walton brewhouse. The food wasn't as good as I had hoped.

Fantastic tap house for the Izaak Walton Brewery, situated in the small village of Norton Bridge. They offer a wide selection of their own ales, along with ciders and spirits. This very friendly and welcoming pub has a great selection of bar snacks, including sausage rolls and scotch eggs. Well worth a visit if in the area, unfortunately, there is no longer any public transport, so may require a designated driver, or consider a reasonably priced taxi from either Stafford or Stone. You won't regret it, but do remember to check opening times before making your journey.

What a find, shame we live in Portsmouth and can't get here regularly... Beautiful Izaak Walton beers at around £3 a pint (5 ales, 1 Porter and 2 lagers were available), very friendly people both behind the bar and the locals and the Scotch Egg and Pork pies were delicious.. We went on a Wednesday and there were Pizzas available outside the pub but we didn't have them... Be sure to check opening hours before going there.. Hopefully we'll get back there one day

Served with frozen gateuax And stewed coffee, there is a need to up their products, surroundings were lovely, w.c. cv19 secure, lovely outside seating area, that needs a few plants to improve its outlook, very windy day on my visit, so maybe they could look into that, I remember the old days there, sitting in the bar, Halloween springs to mind..

Fantastic little pub and a great home brewed Lager at just £3.30 a pint. Didn't eat but saw they do 'Cod of Duty' which I presume is fish and chips for about 6 quid.
