Went to the kings arms earlier today and upon entering we were met with warm smiles and amazing customer service. The building itself has beautiful decor and a rustic vibe which really complimented the overall aesthetic. Outside there was a large sitting area, plenty of benches and a cover over the top for people to enjoy being outside without the fear of being rained on. The service was incredibly quick and the food was amazing! I ordered the gammon and chips, my partner ordered the breakfast burger. The 2 meals were amazingly priced for what we got. The plates were full and the quality of the food we got could only be described as 5 star. Me and my partner are going to book overnight accommodation within the next few weeks as we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the kings arms! Thank you to the chef for the amazing food! And thank you to the owner and rest of the team for running such a fantastic establishment! 5 stars All day!!!

Great last week awful this … Both times chose Sunday roast Last week amazing, tasty loads of gravy This week - ran out of all meet apart from beef!..: everything overcooked - think they ran out of flour because cauliflower cheese served in liquid sauce !.., Yorkshire’s burnt black No gravy - ran out !! Kids nachos indescribable…Mac n cheese as dry as Ghandis flip flops . … Thought we had found a regular Sunday roast venue - not so sure now !

Won't be returning. Very poor meal. Plate of French fries with a Beef Schnitzel placed on the top. No salad garnish or veg. Expensive £18.

I can't rate rooms as we didn't stay there. Otherwise location is good , food nice and big portions and staff very friendly and polite. Free parking when you register your car on a tablet in the pub.

As a foodie, I can’t fault the quality and presentation of the food I’ve just eaten. All of the sauces are made in house and you can’t half tell the difference. Would highly recommend it!

We have a long and happy history with this place through various landlord. It’s a nice, homely and traditional pub but not spit and sawdust. I call it ‘our spiritual home’ 😁. Had an amazing meal here tonight, the best food out we had have had in ages. We feel it’s great value for money because the new menu, which we had the pleasure of tasting last week, is exceptional! Highly recommended!

Popped in for a quick brunch and really enjoyed it. Good food and very friendly, attentive service. They provided detailed dietary information, with an allergy menu available upon request.

We visited here at peak time on a Friday night and they were more than accommodating, rushing aside to set up a table for 2. The staff are very polite and welcoming and have suggestions from the menu. Food was really nice and served in good portions. This resturant was mentioned to us as it has a rural location. The resturant car park only has a few spaces for parking and the walk in has you doubting your decision with the unkept shed outback and uneven gravel and patio but as soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with the aromatic indian cuisine and welcoming staff. I would definitely visit again.
