The Queens Hotel in Leeds

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the level of service and attention to detail at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect. The room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed and more. I especially loved the plush bedding and the stunning view from the window – it really added a touch of luxury. The facilities were top-notch: the on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a great variety of options, and the breakfast was a highlight – fresh, high-quality, and beautifully presented. The spa and fitness center were also well maintained and never overcrowded. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated, making it easy to explore the local area while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be returning and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a flawless and relaxing getaway.

Good experience in this hotel for a 2-nights business trip. Perfect location for logistics, big rooms and fancy entrance. Good level of cleanliness even if furnitures and doors are a bit old/not well mantained. There were men at work in the front of the building, starting to make noise at 5am, not a fault of the hotel. Small gym but ok for quick and easy training.

Overall okay stay, location is perfect and the decor is really impressive. Unfortunately the breakfast service was very poor. Advised breakfast would start at 06:30 so headed down for 06:45. Had to stand waiting for a long time to sat at a table and no one was manning the desk. Half the buffet wasn’t available with no explanation leaving a lot of confused guests. Very disappointing as this was an additional cost to stay and would consider an alternative next time we’re in Leeds.

Lilly is hands down one of the best waiters I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only was she attentive and efficient, but she also went above and beyond to make our experience special. She has a natural warmth and empathy that made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such genuine kindness. If you’re lucky enough to have Lilly as your server, you’re in for an amazing dining experience!

A special shoutout to Nikita and Grace, whose thoughtful attention to detail made my experience all the more delightful. They kindly brought me hot milk for my tea, which was a small but much-appreciated gesture that showcased their dedication to guest satisfaction. It’s rare to find such attentive and personalized service, and it left a lasting impression. I highly recommend the Queens Hotel for anyone seeking comfort and care during their stay.

Went for a drink in the cocktail bar. The staff seemed all to be still learning so everything took longer.

OK room and good service. Did only stay for one night, breakfast not included. So limited experience with the service. The few staff I corresponded with were very nice.

Had a nice stay here that was if I described in one word is "functional". Service was friendly and efficient. Room was suitable. View out on to fire exit roof courtyard and some noise from the train station but nothing major. Felt room was a bit dark, which made the cosy room feel even smaller, maybe a ceiling light above the bed would've helped. Also bath very high and narrow which wasn't great for showering, with the shower head itself being tiny. Breakfast again was nice and served it's purpose but nothing fancy here. Location is super with easy access to station and the city

Love this place, stayed here before, but tried breakfast for the first time today and really disappointed. Limited range, awful coffee, a place this good should really up its game in the kitchen.

Has been renovated since my last visit. Nicely modernised without losing the sense of "grandness" of the old hotel. Well located and comfortable.

This hotel looked a bit dated from our booking website, however let me assure you, it's stunning.

Local to the train station, feels very 1920's art deco. Not sure breakfast is worth £16.95 however. Its a nice hotel at the centre of Leeds and means your close to transport, shops, restaurants & bars. Good for a weekend away

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Leeds. Staff were very friendly. Food for private dining wasn't great; pork was chewy and the dessert was a strange texture. Whilst the main areas of the hotel were beautiful the rooms were a bit of a let down. Bits of peeling paint and a bit tired in places, also windows and sills dusty with dead flies. Just lacked a finesse you'd expect. Bed was comfortable however.

Very poor experience. Hotel staff came into my room un-announced, and un-invited. Then left un-apologetically. There’s no security chain, at least in room 820. I would never trust my security or privacy with this hotel again.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff are all so professional and polite, they really make you feel welcome! I kindly got a room upgrade, and got the mini bar complimentary - I cannot stress enough how good the customer service is! The only reason for my mid score is 1. the fact that you do not get breakfast included when booking standard. I paid £160 just for the room. 2. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. It was rock hard, and the worst night sleep I've ever had!

Stayed for one night as we were in Leeds for a concert at the First Direct Arena. Hotel is a perfect location, very central for food and entertainment venues. The staff were very friendly, and the reception is welcoming. We had a slight issue with our room but it was all resolved immediately and the staff were more than happy to help. Had such a peaceful night and felt well rested the next day, the room and hotel in general were both well decorated and clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Came to stay 13th February until 14th February, 2024, into a cosy double room, when we got here we were told we had been upgraded, we stayed in room 717 on floor 7, lovely, spacious, clean, tv is easy to use, we brought our amazon firestick, you can connect your phone to the tv if you like, wifi is simple to set up, room service is quick, amenities: tea, coffee, sugar, iron, ironing board, safe, plenty of wardrobe space, small fridge, high firm double beds, low toilet and the shower is awesome

Our visit there was to the Grand Pacific, the food is good and the cocktails are very good.
