The queen of spades in Boston

We often have a takeaway Sunday lunch (they will deliver free of charge, but I prefer to collect so I can have a pint). The food is just like having a home made meal and plenty of it. There is always two or three choices of main course and sweet packed in aluminium foil dishes to keep it warm or to reheat late. The gravy and custard comes in separate containers. Superb food always supplied with a smile. They also do a Sunday carvery in their lovely dining room (whichich is where our takeaways are supplied from) and that is on on our list in the near future.

Went to a ladies night recently, had a wonderful evening. The landlord Andrew Dodds is amazing, funny, friendly and down to earth. Meals are amazing especially the Sunday lunches, will even deliver to your home

Visited for a Live Pub Poker League area final on Sunday 11th December 2016 and can thoroughly recommend. Spacious, clean, friendly staff and very nice buffet provided. Quality draught beers and very nice coffee all reasonable priced. This is a community pub set in a housing estate with good parking and facilities. Can't comment on the hot food offering but if it is anything like the quality of everything else it should be ok :-)

Popped into my brother in law's local for a quick drink and a bite to eat after he had raved about it. Turned into a long evening of playing pool drinking and eating toasties and chips. Very clean and tidy and friendly staff.

Este es un restaurante y la comida está bien preparada y saludable. El lugar ideal para personas con grandes apetitos. Si tienes un pequeño apetito te sugiero que hambre por unos pocos días antes de su visita!

Just had a dinner it was cooked super there was plenty to go at and the gravy was to die for well done to the queen

Tenía mi 40 cumpleaños sorpresa fiesta en este pub, qué ambiente, nos cabía en todo el mundo, Andy y Joe eran absolutamente genial y el personal fue rápidamente a servir y rápido para despejar el desemboca. No me puedo quejar y gracias por esa gran noche y muchos otros! Esperamos que durante las Navidades. Nos vemos pronto.
