Amazing pub, amazing staff just amazing!

Asked to be served after being multiple times previous, was told no we can’t be served but then proceeds to serve other people. Beyond rude customer service. I appreciate the apology however I don’t feel like it is necessary to come in for a chat as I will no longer be a customer. I came in with my sister, my boyfriend and her boyfriend. Both the boys were served as we were at the toilet for at the most 2 minutes, we then were told it was last orders which we had no issue with. The issue was after we were told it was last orders 2 other girls were then served. My sister was told to then ‘not be mardy’ by the young man behind the bar when she asked why they’d been served AFTER us yet we were told no. He then began to mimic what she was saying in front of other customer. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and so so rude.

This is a lovely place, offering sports, pool and large outside seating area. Upstairs function room with bar, ideal for private parties. Carl the landlord was very friendly and helpful during my visit... He's been in the pub game half his life and knows what's wanted from a local boozer a really nice bloke. No food currently been served but that may change in the future. 😎

Friday night, great music great choice of drinks

Decent bar and good music that also has sport on tv. Plenty of parking with a chip shop nearby.

Lovely little pub with a nice beer garden in the rear. Still trying to remain pocket friendly with drink offers. Sky Sports on multiple screens and a DJ on Friday night.

A nice neighborhood pub. Unfortunately no way to eat there. Rather quiet.

Unfortunately the place was empty on a Sunday lunch time, crazy!

They don't serve food but they aloud us to sit inside with our fish and chips to eat. Nice touch.

Not comfortable in this pub. Full of chavs in the pool room playing like ten year olds.

Great staff and a friendly place to be. A little pricey for the area but definitely worth a visit.

A nice pint but the price wasn't. £3.70 for a pint of Smiths is very steep.

You can book a table or you cant go to the bar to order. staff come to you and you pay by card only and the service is good nice to go to the pub again and when you ggo to the toilet you turn some fluffy thing round to tell the next person how many in the toilet

Propper well fettled local pub. Not the cheapest but a great pint and always plenty of people in.

Made very welcome by friendly staff and good beers.

Good pub, been going in for 32 years off and on! Friday nights can get busy , sometimes a few scuffles but soon dealt with! Only problem the staff continue to serve people who have clearly had far too much to drink!! Hence the occasional flare ups😕

This place is in a world and a time zone all of it's own. A suburban version of flares or similar but friendly and welcoming. Check it out because it could be the future or just a sad pastiche of the past.

A lovely pub with a nice courtyard at the back. Slightly expensive. A minor grumble is they played music over the commentary of the play off final yesterday. C'mon it advertises as a sports bar.

A very welcoming barmaid, Elaine. Dogs allowed, lovely beer garden for warm days. Pool table and sports TV. Lovely pint of Guinness.
