I recently visited a pub that I would not recommend to anyone. The place had a bad atmosphere, and the landlady was particularly unpleasant. The experience was very disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to save others from a similar disappointment. To start with, the pub was in a state of disrepair. The furniture was old and rickety, and the floor was sticky and dirty. The whole place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The menu was also limited, and the food that was served was below average. It was clear that the owners were not putting in any effort to improve the place or attract customers. But the worst part of my experience was the landlady. She was rude, abrasive, and uninterested in providing a good customer service. When I asked her a question about the menu, she gave me a curt answer and then turned her attention to something else, completely ignoring me. Throughout the evening, she made snarky comments to customers and seemed more interested in chatting with her friends than attending to her duties as a landlady. It was clear that she had no interest in making her customers feel welcome or comfortable. Overall, my experience at this pub was terrible, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The bad atmosphere, the poorly maintained facilities, and the terrible customer service make it a place to avoid. The landlady was particularly bad, and her attitude made the experience even worse. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a drink or a meal, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Stopped for a carvery and it was tasty!

I might be bias having lived close by for a number of years, but the Nook has always been a great local.

Basic, clean, friendly. Food good, basic but could be warmer.

Had Chicken Fajitas. Beautiful food. Would have again.Quick and pleasant service from bar.

Really enjoyed taking 3 teenagers to play pool. A very nice pint of Stones bitter helped to enjoy the visit even more. 😀

A really nice local pub. Jo and Tony were really friendly and welcoming. Everywhere clean and tidy and fresh looking. And looking nice and festive with the decorations up. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Nice pub. We stopped there for lunch and we were very happy. The food amount was great and it was delicious. To top it all, the staff were very nice. Great price, great service and generally an excellent pub for drinks and family meals. Highly recommend and will stop by if we are ever that way in future

Decent pub - food is quite nice. Worth a visit!

Called in while in the area and was pleasantly surprised. The pub is tucked away on a housing estate so difficult to find, but worth the effort. Food is served all week, including a mid week carvery. The staff were both helpful and friendly. There is also a decent range of beers and lagers.

Excellent Sunday Roast, friendly people. A bit small inside, a lot of room outside when the weather is nice. Easy parking.

full of drug addicts and drug dealers, one drug dealer and addict behind the bar, and the other one cooking in the kitchen, avoid this place at all costs.....

Had a lovely Saturday evening meal. Thanks We will be going again.
