I haven't been here a while, due to it being a bit rubbish. I'm pleased to say that is is alot better than a year ago! Friendly staff and promote service at the bar. Didn't order any food on this occasion.

Very poor service and unhelpful staff. We ordered food to our table through the app as advertised in the menu. We could see our starters sitting at the kitchen window for ages with no bar staff coming to pick them up. When they finally did, they said we shouldn't order through the app when the bar is busy - but surely that is the reason to have an app! Having already had the issue once with our starters you would think service would improve, but the same thing happened all over again with our main courses, which were waiting so long that the chef waved across at us that we should come and pick them up ourselves. There were also issues with the mains because we cleary ordered chips with them on the app, but we're given mashed and a baked potatoe instead. When we complained about this, we were told there was no option to order chips with either dish on the menu. A blatant lie. As a result of waiting around the food was cold and sauces had developed a skin. We will never visit or order food here again. We would have asked for a refund given our experience, but the service was so awful that we knew trying to ask for this would achieve nothing so we cut our losses and left.

A great local pub !! Went here for drinks before a gig at Bush Hall. Friendly staff and lovely food and beers.. definitely recommend...will be back !!!

🚇 Shepherd’s Bush Market 🍺 £5.80 Pravha The Queen Adelaide is located at the western end of Shepherd’s Bush heading towards Acton. It is also close to QPR’s stadium, Loftus Road. The nearest Tube is Shepherd’s Bush Market. This striking Grade II listed pub was originally built in the 1840’s and rebuilt 1895. The pub is named after King William IV’s wife who was Queen Consort between 1830 and 1837. This pub is one of three pubs in London named The Queen Adelaide. This is a good size one bar pub that is set out around an island servery. The decor is traditional with some beautiful and interesting features throughout. To the right and front of the servery is a mix of high and low conventional seating. At the back of the servery is a pool table in front of a magnificent fireplace. At the back left there is a dining area with a tall painting of Queen Adelaide, a large atrium with a chandelier, gorgeous wood panels and ole’ Joanna. To left of the servery is an open kitchen. The beer line up had a good selection of beers and ciders and included two cask ales. I decided on a pint of Pravha, my pint was great, price point was a tad below average. The food menu offers a choice of comfort food and pub classics, Fish & Chips costs £16.95. We arrived around 2pm on an overcast Saturday afternoon in November. The pub was quiet with two punters and their pooch in attendance. This pub gets very busy on match days when QPR are playing at home. The service was good, the chap who served us was welcoming and courteous. We sat at the bar and discussed 80’s British Gameshows. The @queenadelaidew12 was a lovely setting to quaff a pint in. The architecture is stunning, the decorative features easy on the eye and our overall experience was a good one. Was somewhat busy, took a while to get served. Couldn’t sit down outside as they had blocked off 2/3 of the outside area. Kitchen was closed at 1pm in the afternoon.

IPA came up very well! Enjoyed a few. Rounded out with some tasty mixed nuts and a wee dram

Staff was very accommodating and friendly as our family arrived 1 hour before the kitchen closed. Food was delicious.

Great place for a few beers before going to watch the superhoops always pop in before every game gets the excitement going and hopefully a win and a exciting game

Not happy with the service. Really disappointed with the new manager. Teachers in the local area used to get a teacher discount which was a really nice thing to do for local teachers. Unfortunately, the “new manager” was very rude when we enquired about the discount on our most recent visit and refused to give us the discount. Fair enough. However another much more amiable member of the bar staff gave my colleague a discount when he went for some drinks. The “new manager” was very rude and if this is the new management then maybe it’s time to find a new local.

This pub was a good find for a pint and a feed. The food was fantastic as the 2 of us shared 3 small dishes plus fries and it was great.

Visiting from San Diego. Got the 5 small plates to share among three people. The karaage chicken and the cod were amazing, and the staff are super friendly and accomodating.

Friendly, cosy pub, good for chilling on a Sunday afternoon. They are short on staff on busy days, but all are working hard; the black hair Middle Eastern girl can single-handedly manage that pub alone! Food could be better, they might need a proper chef

They have a really interesting looking gin and tonic menu BUT apparently none of the ingredients to make them. Been here twice in a few months now and it was the case both times. Apparently they get sent the drinks menus but not the ingredients for the drinks, so this is really just a complaint about the management and not the staff in the pub. The staff is in the pub are nice and try their best to come up with drinks they can make. Edit: So I’ve now got a patronising reply to my review saying I’m “confusing” the menu. Ha. Funny. I, on two occasions, tried to order something from that menu, and was told both times that they can’t make it because they don’t have the ingredients. Sounds to me more like the misunderstanding is on your side with your team and not that I misunderstood but suit yourself.

Well located pub, can't judge the food as I didn't have any but there was almost a fight while we were there which I'm marking it down on atmosphere for. That being said I think this was an anomaly. But it was still quite quiet for a Sunday lunchtime.

Super friendly staff, and we had an amazing feed at this pub. The beers on tap were awesome as well. Being tourists, we tried another pub down the road, but it paled in comparison. So we returned to what we knew best, and had another fantastic experience. Happily call this place our local whilst in town :)

Sunday roast at the Adelaide pub was perfect! The roast beef dinner was flavoursome and very filling i highly recommend visiting and the staff were super friendly!

Not sure if it's because of understaffed or other reasons, the sunday roast we had was just one thin slice of "sirloin" and more than well done. The Yorkshire puddings were served cold despite the fact that we have waited for an hour for it... I don't expect it to be like Hawksmoor or the Victoria but it's really below local pub level :(

We've twice been with our 9 month twins just as the pub opens and found it a wonderful place. Jay was single handed on our first day, serving as bartender, cook and cleaner, as well as our baby food microwave attendant! He couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meal and time there, as did our children. Good baby changing facilities too.

We’ve begun to visit the place during the world cup and now a few months later seems to become our routine…Allergy-friendly food and reasonably rich drink menus, cosy spot with amazingly affable staff for a delightful evening (especially Nazgol who suggested their astonishing beef pie paired with an Aussie Cuvee Amelie, the only remedy that could possibly soothe the pain after that England-France match)...don’t miss it.

Excellent. Slightly biased as I’m a QPR fan but I’ve had the Turkey meatballs, chips the other day, not greasy and good quality and tonight I had the calamari (squid) and karaage chicken (Japanese fried chicken style) and brother had the bacon and cheese burger with fries and it was top drawer. In addition to the solid service and excellent food I want to add I live in Los Angeles and work literally all around the USA driving a truck and food is my thing….. this pub and the chef have got it going on. The Japanese style chicken was bang on as my wife is Japanese and I like to get the karaage chicken in my local area and it’s banging on that level. Thank you to the chef working hard and the staff. Appreciate the high quality. See you next time I fly home from the USA for games. 5 stars - top quality and of course ‘come on you R’s’ 🍴🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵

So happy to have the QA back, and with a great, great menu...and so sad it is just as we leave the area...but it might be worth coming back for! I am veggie, my chap is not, and we both love the new food - the jerk gravy halloumi is something we have come back for time and time again on it's own.....and the dirty fries! You get them in a bag with different flavours to choose from, shake them up and open the naughtiness. YUM. We have been in for casual date nights, for sport, for cosy nights by the fire, and for Sunday Roasts with our parents...just lovely every time - chilled, good staff, and good options on draught. Will be missed.

On of the few pubs worth visiting before a qpr game

Wow... I'm not really a pub person although I do love good music and company, I was fortunate enough to host a night here as many BH clients know I have a strong connection with music. On the night Radio Quarantino where celebrating my birthday live and direct from what can only be described as an amazing warm and welcoming Pub, it has everything you need to know your needs are catered for, large outside seeing area that is still part of the larger open plan interior, the food is next lever (I had a fish finger sandwich for for King) The kitchen closes at 9pm and then the music, fun and laughter take over. Had a wonderful night with lively happy bar staff who where not jyst smiling from ear to ear, they where the happiest bar staff, I have ever seen. Watch out for RadioQuarantino West Londons best online underground dance music station 💯😳 they will be hosting monthly events here and that compliments the space perfectly

My family and I visited this charming pub twice while on holiday in the UK and always had a wonderful experience. The staff was always friendly, welcoming and attentive to our requests. The food was delicious and served hot. We chatted with the chef who welcomed our questions and advised us on the various sauces that accompanied our menu choices. Our family was particularly fond of the great gourmet burgers and my husband enjoyed tasting a good variety of the local brews (Henry the gaffer/bartender was very accommodating). All in all, a great intro to the British pub scene. Highly recommend for good food, drink and a fun night out!
