Good Spanish food but expensive

Servicio sensacional. Muy amable, aunque los domingos Almuerzo muy tranquilo pero absolutamente maravillosa experiencia gastronómica. Tuvimos una gran variedad de platos y nos gustaron todos. Las Patatas Bravas eran diferentes de lo normal, pero las deliciosas croquetas de jamón se derriten en la boca, todas las tapas que tuvimos mucho más fueron geniales

Being a regular customer, paella was substandard and missing ingredients. It was Saturday ( following Valentine’s Day) and it was very busy , but this does not justify the lower food quality.

Love it every time. Great service, great atmosphere and amazing food. Really good valentines meal. Paella & 3 tapas plates with wine and dessert. Great value

Our first time at this lively Spanish restaurant. The service was a little rushed, but staff were very attentive and as such our experience was good- would have loved a few recommendations from our waiter as 1st time customers. The food was excellent and the portions we reasonable. The extensive wine list of well priced Rioja’s was an added bonus. Will be back soon.

The staff was very pleasant and friendly. We arrived early and was shown to our table straight away. rThe food and wine was just outstanding., One word of caution when you go to the restroom be careful when you open the door from the restaurant there is a step down and there was no warning. Apart from this there was no issues.

Tendido cuatro is my go-to Fulham local for date night with hubby or catching up with friends. Love it! Can’t fault it!

Menú de bebidas decente y el servicio fue estupendo.El precio de la comida también parecía muy razonable.Definitivamente, recomendaría este lugar y volveremos a visitar.

The menu has changed since I was last there. It is shorter and I think now misses some of their very good dishes. Having said that the food remains very good. The service was very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you enjoy Spanish food it is a very good place to eat.

Great tapas. Very good service with good advice; the waiters gave good guidance on how much food was needed - rather than overspend.

What an absolutely wonderful gastronomic experience. Perfect paella. Choctastic churros. House wine from Heaven. Sensational service. I cannot wait to return.

The only good thing about the place was the friendly service. Some of the food is frozen, the famous ham croquettes were bland. The octopus was decent but , like the rest of the food, overpriced. I am sorry but we surely will not come back.

As a Spanish person living in London I always recommend Tendido Cuatro to my friends for paellas: best restaurant in town for it!! Services is also nice and efficient. Food is on time and delicious. You have really to try it!

Great selection of Tapas and very reasonably priced Paella at this exceptional Spanish restaurant. Went as a group of 6 and had plenty to eat and drink without having to break the bank. Would recommend for family and friends gatherings. Service was great and would definitely recommend.

The only reason that I didn't give a 5-star is because they took away my favourite dish: aubergine chips. Service was excellent!

What happened?!? This was our absolute favourite casual Spanish/tapas restaurant for years due to the consistency and high quality of the cooking. This last visit was so uncharacteristic, though we have not been here for at least a year. Maybe there have been staff changes that have caused a plummet to the food quality? It was poor enough that we may never go back again, as I would not want to spend a dime on a repeat of that experience. Plus, we took a guest there as an example of excellent Spanish cuisine. They were basic problems that a serious chef would not permit out of her kitchen: overcooked egg in the omelette, almost everything oversalted, over-grilled prawns.

Fabulous high-end Spanish tapas. Delicious food, friendly bustling service and a vibrant atmosphere. Sometimes the bill can be a bit eye-watering!!

Always a great experience - the menu has shrunk a little over time but the taste is great, the service always friendly and overall experience great for a fun evening out that does not break the bank!

The food was not at the expected standard. For example, the octopus and potato dish lacked seasoning and was watery. In contrast, the black rice dish was over seasoned. The squid in the black rice dish was rubbery and overcooked. Overall, poor quality food. There are many Spanish restaurants in London which serve better food and cost a little less. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Dopo aver prenotato anche in base alle recensioni ci presentiamo puntuali alle ore 20 io e mia moglie .Ci viene assegnato un tavolo da quattro in un locale in cui vociare impediva di parlare ma essendo un venerdì sera ci può stare. Man mano che il locale si riempiva il vociare aumentava sino al punto di essere fastidioso. Essendo un ristorante spagnolo chiediamo il piatti tipico :paella di pesce. Chiedo al cameriere se il pesce è fresco o congelato ed avuto rassicurazione sul fatto che sia fresco confermiamo l'ordine dopo essere stati informati che il piatto sarà pronto in 30 minuti .Nel frattempo il ristorante si riempie ed il tavolo da quattro viene diviso per cui ci ritroviamo in un piccolo tavolo per 2 ma questo può essere ancora accettabile in relazione alla gente in attesa. Arriva la paella dopo 40 minuti e la prima impressione a vista è negativa . Il riso è scotto e peggio ancora, bruciato. Il pesce è congelato perché vivendo in un posto di mare so riconoscere il gusto del pesce fresco da quello congelato. Dopo 40 minuti di attesa non abbiamo avuto il coraggio di contestare abbiamo assaggiato qualcosa confermando l'impressione negativa pagando il nostro conto e facendo presente al cameriere che non si può servire un cibo così. Sebbene il ristorante fosse pieno questo non giustifica un servizio così scadente. Il cuoco non può servire un piatto così e bastava offrire un nuovo menù. Non professionale

Very busy night. They were running behind to seat us and brought us a drink on the house to pass the time. The food was excellent! We really enjoyed this restaurant.

I’ve been coming here for years and every time the food has been outstanding, unfortunately our last visit wasn’t very good. The menu has changed, the portions are smaller. It’s good, but it used to be fantastic. Hoping it was just a bad night as I hope to go back

Post Football visit - (close to Craven Cottage and Stamford Bridge). Anchovies superb, Chorizo and Jamon paella, outstanding, Churros with melted chocolate and Pedro Jimenez sherry - thought I was in Andalusia. Great service and superb Gin cocktails. We’ll be back.

First courses were fine. Main course, paella, was OK but was short on the promised vegetables and seafood. Glasses of wine were good.

Authentic food, great vibe and insane Albariño! Such a nice place for dinners with friends and family! Service is friendly and professional. I will definitely come back soon.

One of best authentic Spanish restaurant in Out west London

Having moved out of London a few years ago, we don't get to come to Tendido Cuatro very often. The food, service and atmosphere are still as great as always. The one thing which surprised us was that the tapas menu seems much smaller than it used to be and that was the only disappointment.

First time eating here for a few years and the service, food and ambiance are all still fantastic. Every dish was delicious. Highly recommended

We shared a number of dishes and we loved every one of the. The food was tasty and well cooked. We shares a bottle of wine they recommended which was very good. Service was fantastic, friendly and fast.

El arroz no estaba en el punto de cocción correcto que dejamos bastante en la sartén al final porque realmente no lo estábamos disfrutando.Al final, cuando recibimos la factura y estábamos pagando, preguntamos si el chef había cambiado porque algo así nunca había sucedido antes. .El camarero dijo que el jefe de cocina no estaba trabajando ese día. . .De ahora en adelante, llamaré para saber si el Headchef está funcionando o no, ya que no estoy feliz de comer otra paella como esa.Realmente deja que el agente se dedique a las personas que pueden probar eso por primera vez. En nuestro caso, conocemos la calidad desde hace mucho tiempo, por lo que ahora tenemos un poco de miedo de llegar el día en que el Headchef no esté funcionando.El servicio es bueno a pesar de que el camarero no preguntó la razón por la cual gran parte de la paella se quedó en la sartén.En general, debo decir que estamos asombrados con la comida y el servicio que hemos tenido siempre, excepto el domingo pasado.

Lovely little local Spanish Tapas restaurant. Food is great, particularly liked the lamb cutlets and calamari. Wine list is good too. Would definitely go back.

We are regular customers of Tendido Cuatro however the menu has changed and shrunk and was frankly disappointing.

I wish they would return to the old menu! Soft cooked cheese dish with fruit sauce is greatly missed and lamb chops- the machego cheese dish is bland and the portions is to thick!

This has been a good reliable local restaurant for a number of years. However, our last visit was worrying. <br />Service has become a little slack despite the warm welcome. Ordered a 2014. Orders a Rib. Pago Carraovejas 2014 at £73. Bright to the table was a 2015 that should be half the price. Waiter told me it was a better wine than the 2014!!!<br />The food has also become quite oily and we didn’t appreciate being questioned about not ordering the Bravas, as we particularly avoid them here as they are over fussy and topped with mayo. Neck of Pork was worrying chewy due to undercooking but was better when returned for more heat. <br />It could have been an off night. I hope so.

Excelentes tapas, paella para morirse (especialmente la tinta de calamar), la lista de vinos es extensa y tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. . . . . .Pero, ese "arte" que cuelga en las paredes. . . . . . ¡Es un desafío hasta el punto de ser extremadamente molesto y perturbador, simultáneamente!Ahora tienes que visitar, solo para ver si estás de acuerdo.He estado visitando por más de diez años y sigo regresando. ¡Estos chicos son auténticos y extremadamente buenos!

Tuvimos un excelente almuerzo aquí el domingo. Como éramos cuatro, elegimos una buena selección de tapas que incluían langostinos, calamares, pimientos, croquetas y queso manchego. Todos eran excelentes y muy bien presentados. Luego tuvimos dos paellas, una de marisco con tinta de calamar y una mezcla de pollo y marisco, ambas eran tan buenas como las paellas que he comido en buenos restaurantes en España. El vino, el jerez y especialmente la ginebra y los tónicos también estaban bien, ¡y las medidas generosas de G&T! Servicio amable, profesional y no intrusivo. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante

A very enjoyable evening meal with friends. Good food, and easy to order more plates, especially liked the asparagus and octopus. Tortilla was a little undercooked but quickly resolved. Service efficient. £60pp inc plenty of wine and service.

Just had a family dinner there. Friendly staff, buzzy ambience, authentic Spanish food and wines. Good experience. Pretty full for a Thursday evening.

The idea of tapas is obviously not a new one and Tendido Cuatro are not re-inventing the wheel here. The standard of food is very good and i would recommend that 7 tapa is the maximum needed. <br /><br />The restaurant has a Spanish feel and a decent wine list.

Great venue for really good tapas in a convenient location. Excellent wine list, charming staff and great ambience. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Also was a good buzz in the place so people on other tables looked like regular visitors.

I was feeling kind of home sick so decided to try one of these Spanish restaurants of which I’ve always heard amazing things.

Great food and service as usual but really warm due to weather. Consider some air conditioning?

Delicious food, great service, good wine, the only drawback is being next to the road but if you get a seat inside as we did you don&#039;t notice that at all.

Second visit. This time for a family get together. 6 of us. Bar to begin with was great, staff really nice, service really poor. I would still say it is fantastic but we just got a bad night - I think. First time we went was brilliant and thus recommendation to the family. Food was great except the paella which was as dry as the Sahara desert in an iron skillet. Will certainly return and keeping fingers crossed this bad showing was a one off. If next visit similar then never again.

The food was absolutely amazing. It tasted as good as it looked. Service was great too, though, there was a little miscommunication with staff as one would bring stuff before the other and then you’d see the second member of staff coming and getting a little annoyed. All in all was a great experience, however, member got annoyed when we questioned the optional service charge and he told us we have to pay. As we left, he didn’t even say anything l, whereas, I know that when all other customers were leaving, he’d be the first to say bye.

Buzzy place with a very nice menu. The vegetable tapas were the best (patatas bravas and asparagus were excellent). Nice wine list and good wines by the glass. Disappointing was one of the more expensive tapas (prawns) which were really quite bland compared to the other tapas. Friendly and attentive service. Atmosphere very relaxed. Our second time there and we will return.

First visit and got there early so did not benefit from the ambiance. We passed later and it was jumping. Food was great, staff really good, big balloon gin and tonics and good wine list. Pretty expensive but it was top drawer tapas with all the favourites and more available. Will 100% return and would recommend fully.

Great as always. They have changed the menu since I was last there, but all new dishes we tried were nice.

Food is authentically like my Spanish family loves and makes, the staff are fantastically professional, fun and genuine. I will most definitely be going back with anyone who will go (groups/solo/dates) the paella looks fantastic (didn’t get that time) but lamb, croquettes, artichoke, octopus and squid (grilled) are to die for -highly recommend.

Our first visit, good food but not special so this does not warrant a revisit in my opinion, if we were more local then no doubt we would return here on the basis of an occasional &#039;eaterie&#039;... (ie no need to avoid this restaurant!)

La comida era buena, pero no excepcional. El personal era educado, pero no excepcional. Yo wdnt salir de mi camino para volver aquí pero también evitar. wdnt Sin embargo, lo referente a la puerta de enfrente es lo que estaba siendo utilizada. . Lo suficiente para poner más. La gente su comida! No recuento la comida pero nos referiremos a este lugar como el sitio con increíble y que puerta gin!

Attentive and friendly staff, tapas were all super tasty, well cooked and nicely served on interesting pottery dishes. Wine was also a treat and was decanted and served with care. We had a great fun evening here with our 2 nephews 13/ 15 yrs. thank you

The staff were very attentive and I thought the food and wine offering was very broad and catered for a diverse pallet. The food was good, not amazing, but equally far from disappointing. Good value for money, and I’d recommend.

Love this local gem. <br />Staff are fabulously accommodating and the food is always consistently delicious. <br />We were there for a birthday on a usually busy Saturday evening and it was a bit disappointing that our aperitifs took ages to come and ended up arriving with our food. <br />Plus, it is a very noisy (buzzy) restaurant so an intimate table is a must.

We visited a few times and the tapas are just delicious. Our favorites are the 8-hours backed tomatoes and the croquetas… And the squid ink seafood paella is fantastic. The service varies from good to excellent. Definitely one of the best tapas restaurants in London!

All very good. Outstanding even. Only downside was that the waiters and waitresses would take my food and drink even though there was still some left that I wanted to consume. I would still thoroughly recommend it though.

Usually very good and nice but this time service was extremely slow. Disappointing

Tasty but too expensive. The quality of the food is very good; the décor is very simple and the prices are high. The least expensive wine is about £27, which is about 30% too high. We had one bottle of £35 wine for four and ordered well and the bill came to £200. Sorry, but this is just too much for a casual neighbourhood restaurant with simple décor, basic service and very little atmosphere. It is a shame as I like the food. I think £25 per person would be about right but not £50!

Delicious food and great for gin lovers. Service wasn&#039;t great. Asked 3 times for missing tapas dish and didn&#039;t receive then was charged.

Great selection of excellent tapas and paella, highly recommended. The wine selection was somewhat limited for reasonable wines (25-30 range) but they were delicious nonetheless.

We have been here many times over the years. Usually very good, sometimes a bit quiet in there and food not quite 5*. However on Saturday last week it was excellent. The place was packed, we hadn't booked but they kindly found us a table until 9pm which was perfect. The food was top class, good wine recommendations, friendly staff. definitely the best tapas in London!
