Lovely location, authentic restaurant with atmosphere, delicious food and good service. Wots not to like.

We hadnt booked but they kindly fitted us in. Served very promptly and we werent rushed. Great aa always.

Had breakfast here one morning and it was fantastic. Very helpful & friendly staff and a great location to visit the two Liverpool Cathedrals and the Everyman Theatre.

Food was ok Sevice was good I realise now it is dog friendly. But i did not expect another customers dog to be coming up to me and our table. They then allowed it to lay down close to our table. So when people and staff tried to pass they knocked in to me virtually every occasion. Ok dog friendly but other people need to be considered

Food lovely, service bit poor. Not all staff that served us, but a slightly older man. Practically threw our tap water at us, onto table. No excuse me as he past us to get stuff on the table. Pretty rude.

First time at the Quarter,I came with friends, atmosphere good,very busy, staff excellent and food yummy. Only problem was no staff came to ask if everything was OK or did we need any refills of drinks. We ordered dessert 🍨 my friends got theirs and I was waiting about 10mins for mine. We had to ask where mine was and I soon got it but overall I enjoyed myself

Another winner for me! Staff were friendly and greeted you from the door. DOG FRIENDLY establishment, which is a bonus! Staff were very accommodating, and a lovely lady recommended me dog food option, so bought a breast of plain chicken breast for £4, and added some extra bits for him. Food was great. Price is what you would get in a city centre, roughly £16 for my pasta dish.

If you like bland food this is your place.

This is a really nice place with good vibes, interior and always nice waiting staff to help. The food choice is nice (although vegan options are limited). I even found one vegan cake. I love this place and I will come back there again and again. Unfortunately breakfast pancakes are not available anymore.

Amazing food at The Quarter, Liverpool before Hans Zimmer vs John Williams Concert at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. Absolutely amazing. I'd recommend booking though!

Saw this lovely place to eat on the Hop on Hop off Bus, the day before, said to our party how we would love to try it. We turned up Mothers Day, hadn't booked, they so kindly fitted us in, we had a beautiful seated area outside, it was sunny, Mothers day and our Breakfast, Service was brilliant, it was perfect, and meant to be. Thank you The Quarter for a lovely finish to our weekend in Liverpool.

Incredibly busy on a Saturday evening but we were lucky to get a table for 2 as a walk-in. Alfonso and his team worked tirelessly to make everyone's experience great. Great food and wine and the atmosphere was friendly.

This is my favourite part of the city and this dog-friendly eating place is so welcoming. The food is amazing and the service is warm and friendly. I had the best Manchester tart here that I've ever tasted.

Amazing friendly service makes you feel very welcome. The menu is very comprehensive with vegan options clearly identified, the vegan breakfast is outstanding by the way. Portion sizes are spot on and the pricing is pretty attractive too.

Fuimos recibidos con una actitud educada y amable después de haber sido rechazado de al lado por no tener una reserva. La camarera también era cortés y servicial. El ambiente era relajado pero eficiente con servicio rápido pero no apresurado. La comida estaba deliciosa (aunque un poco salada) y mi comentario fue aceptado con gracia. Sin duda volvería y lo recomendaría. Buen precio también. 👍

Brilliant service and lovely atmosphere. Found the food to be a little salty but the portions were generous and the drinks are nice.

Very busy. Pizza was lovely and fresh. Initially thought the base was a little undercooked but it tasted lovely. Nice sorbet dessert. No draught ale so marked down for laziness and lack of attention to pint lovers. Just causes stress and inflated bottle/can prices. Disappointing

£4.25 for a large latte that wasn't that big and came in a cup and saucer, not a glass. The coffee was nice, just too small to be value for money. We were going to have one of the beautiful looking tarts, but for £8.00 we decided to give it a miss. It's such a shame because it is a lovely place, with lovely staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I can only say that the cost of living is affecting us all. Cafes have to increase their prices to pay the bills, but wages are not in line with the cost of living to be able to afford the increase in practically everything.

Had a great lunch here, servers were all really friendly and prompt. Huge selection of delicious looking desserts.

Super restaurant. Second time I have visited with the family. First class service (big shout out to Emily the waitress), great choice of tasty food, portion sizes are excellent and highly recommend. We will be back again.

Food Service & Atmosphere all fantastic

We have visited many times over a number of years and have always experienced consistently good food and service. Its especially nice to call in prior to a night at the Phil.

Wonderful, tasty Mediterranean food. Really , lovely, friendly staffvery helpful. Good atmosphere and popular.

Disappointing visit… felt very ignored by staff. Took 15 minutes to take a drinks order then an extra 10 to take our food order. Food was mediocre and no offering of parmesan on pasta eventhough the table next to us did. Staff were lovely whom we did speak to but not attentive in the slightest. Considering the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, i felt very disappointed leaving :(

We’ve visited for dinner twice over the last few weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the experience both times. The restaurant is attractive with a great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. The menu is excellent and the portion sizes very generous. We’ve had the lamb kofta, Spanish chicken flatbread, ragu and cod from the specials menu. All dishes were excellent and the service top notch. We will call again soon.

Seabass was a little dry. Friend enjoyed the steak. Very friendly and prompt service. Seating could be better arranged. When there's only two of you, you do tend to get awkward spots to sit. Seating outside on cold days could be improved given blankets like you do abroad and better heaters. Also the prices here are very high

Mainly pizza and pasta with a few other mains inc steaks etc. Great selection of starters. Pizzas and pastas unusual. A good selection of desserts including about half a dozen different sundaes. The staff were great. Amazing value really. 2 courses each plus drinks for just over £50. It was a big restaurant and it was full at 5.30. It might be advisable to book. Wow we will be back!!

The staff here were great. We had two members of our party with an array of allergies and intolerance, but the staff took us all on. They were very patient and took us through the allergen menu and were very attentive. Couldn't recommend this place enough

Loved this place went with my son and his girl friend. Quick service. Had halloumi salad ,delish with really super fresh ingredients. Will deffo be calling back again.

I can in on the morning of the big storm 7th Dec. Place is lovely and staff were excellent. I ordered the breakfast but asked for no beans, weirdly they said the chef insists with every breakfast having beans but they come in a separate dish which can be removed by the customer at the table. Why? This seems firstly a waste of food as I clearly was not going to be eating them and secondly just weird from the chefs perspective. The meal looked lovely and it was about £15. However the bacon was like leather and inedible, the sausages were bland so swerved most of the two of them also. One slice of toast served under the eggs as opposed to being served separately. I also had to order another slice to make up for the bacon and sausage disaster. I didn't challenge it as it's not my style. However I met two lovely couples in nearby tables so that was lovely from an atmosphere point of view. Breakfast was disappointing and weirdly controlled.

Excellent place for a pre show dinner.

The flaky crust, warm apple filling, and hint of cinnamon create a symphony of flavors that brings a smile to my face with every bite.

We ate breakfast and lunch here, both were spot on! Breakfast was porridge, banana and honey, followed by a toasted bacon sarnie. What a way to start the day! We had the sirloin for dinner, it was perfect! We came here years ago and it’s expanded into the adjoining buildings, no surprise there, it’s an excellent restaurant and deserves its success!

Great restuarant, booked it as it's close to the Philharmonic..Lilly looked after us, she was great, had a little chat, I wanted a brandy coffee which wasn't on the menu but other liquer coffee were, so she said she would sort it..the meal was very tasty and great value, including the house wine.

Lovely decor outside and in, with a busy but chilled ambience. The menu was extensive and the staff were helpful and attentive. The gluten-free Spanish chicken was exceptional: spicy, lemony and so tender.

We found this on TripAdvisor and booked due to the fabulous reviews. It didn't disappoint, fabulous staff , so helpful and friendly.Great menu and food was utterly delicious and really reasonable prices for the City centre or a restaurant of this calibre . Advisable to book as very busy . Excellent! Will definitely be back .

As someone who now lives and works in 'that London' was great to finally discover The Quarter before attending an event at the Philharmonic with my Mum. From the warm welcome to the great food (the Ragu Beef Shin rigatoni is fabulous) to the ludicrously small bill (I'm used to obscene London prices) the Quarter hit the spot. A special shout out the great staff - especially the very lovely Martina - for looking after us. I'll be back for sure.

Inexpensive, piping hot, great service first class location, did not have to wait long for food in a very busy restaurant. Might book for the whole family to go.

Came here before going to a show at the philamonic - absolutely fantastic restaurant- food, atmosphere, service - pudding are incredible- will definitely be coming back 🙌🏻

The quarter used to be a step above in terms of the quality of its ingredients, now it's the same as most places, black pudding tasted like cheap shop bought, the sausages also not as good as they used to be. However the most alarming thing was I asked for no mushrooms please, to be met with, we can't do that kitchen rules. So if I'm allergic to them, it's going on the plate anyway? Who's in the kitchen Marco Pierre white? Really disappointed there's better alternatives in the city centre now, not something I used to say.

A little gem of a place.. Great for a pre theatre meal and drink. Good selection of food and drinks, different specials and cocktails and epic desserts

Gluten free pizza was delicious 😋 so light and tasty plus a bottle of Red Wine - fabulous meal

Really lovely place decorated beautifully inside and out. Very busy and booking is a must. We came around 6pm on a Saturday night and it was all go! We ordered mains and desserts. Both were delicious although deseserts did take a while… but was worth the wait! Highly recommend the orange juice. It’s amazing!

I d like this place . However £7 for a slice of vegan cake is a bit much !! Seriously overpriced cake . Come on guys . Lower your prices !!

We stumbled on The Quarter on the first night of a short break in lovely Liverpool, attracted in by the lovely lcation, the pretty lights and the fact that it was teeming with happy faces. They managed to fit us in and, as well as being lovely to us, were super-welcoming to our dog. Pescatarians were well catered for. The tuna nicoise and the haloumi salad were both delicious and we shared a wonderfully cheesy pizza and a huge piece of baked apple cheesecake. We loved it so much, we returned the next afternoon for another piece. Plenty of scope to walk it all off in this fabulous city! We'll be back next time we're in Liverpool. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We arrived on this sunny Saturday afternoon, mid October. Lucky to find a table outside. The service was friendly and good, very good. I had a Caesar salad, daughter an American Pizza and wife a Genoa pizza. The food was outrageously tasty. All of it, fresh and real. I will go again and again and again. Just a shame we live other side of the UK. Please do yourself a favour and go. This experience made me all of us so happy. Thanks chefs!

BEST RESTAURANT IN LIVERPOOL!! One of the best restaurants I've been to in Liverpool. Nothing is missing. Great taste. Service is the best. The atmosphere is solid too Highly recommended. The tiramisu is the best I've ever had, the fried squid is moist and delicious, and the steak of the day is huge and delicious. I tried both dinner and brunch and they were both good.

Ate here before a concert at the Phil. Good atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. Thought that the overall price was very fair given the quality of the food. The cakes are fabulous and so big we had to share one! Will certainly return.

Always visit here before theatre. As always food and service really good. Staff so friendly. One gripe. There were people in there with dogs which is no problem at all. However couple on next table had their dog on knee with paws on the table then they actually put the dog sitting on the table. Sorry but that's unacceptable to me. Dogs fine but not sitting on the table please.

Fairly regular visitor to this place. Mediterranean style food. Service always good. Gets very busy so always book.

Food is really poor. Carbonara was made with cream and not authentic Italian at all. The pizza tasted like it came out the packet from Aldi.

Most depressing interpretation of eggs benedict, I've ever eaten. Cold, unseasoned and frankly lazy. Staff and service were good.

Came here on a busy Saturday evening with 3 teenagers. We didn’t have a reservation but were offered an outside table which suited us perfectly as it was a lovely day for September! Beautiful decor and clearly very popular, we were given a very warm welcome with a smile and staff were attentive throughout. The menu is varied, offering a range of superb Italian fare plus around 5 specials of the day. We opted for pizza plus pan fried cod in a magnificent lobster bisque, served with samphire potatoes. Beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Deserts too are top tier with a regular menu plus specials. If you go inside, you can see the deserts available and they taste as good as they look! If we lived closer, we would visit here often. A great find and highly recommended. A special shout-out to Fabio who attended to us with first class service throughout!

Lovely setting, and super convenient for a trip to the cathedrals. Don't think I'd go back for mains - £15 for a pretty basic pasta with tomato sauce - but the tiramisu was amazing! I will deffo be returning just for another big slab next time I'm in the area.

Stopped in for Brunch on a busy Sunday. Lucky enough to get a table. Food was delicious and service was great.

Friendly efficient staff. Generous and delicious caesar salads, very good fishcakes packed with fish. Homemade pea and ham soup

Breakfast was OK. Hash brown was best. I did get bonus sausages, but I wasn't fussed on them!

We found The Quarter because we were looking for somewhere to go before a gig at Olympia. The food was delicious! I had prawn linguine and the Eaton mess tiramisu, both of which were some of the nicest food I've had in a long time. I live in Manchester and would definitely come back to Liverpool just to eat here!
