Mainly pizza and pasta with a few other mains inc steaks etc. Great selection of starters. Pizzas and pastas unusual. A good selection of desserts including about half a dozen different sundaes. The staff were great. Amazing value really. 2 courses each plus drinks for just over £50. It was a big restaurant and it was full at 5.30. It might be advisable to book. Wow we will be back!!

We ate breakfast and lunch here, both were spot on! Breakfast was porridge, banana and honey, followed by a toasted bacon sarnie. What a way to start the day! We had the sirloin for dinner, it was perfect! We came here years ago and it’s expanded into the adjoining buildings, no surprise there, it’s an excellent restaurant and deserves its success!

Great restuarant, booked it as it's close to the Philharmonic..Lilly looked after us, she was great, had a little chat, I wanted a brandy coffee which wasn't on the menu but other liquer coffee were, so she said she would sort it..the meal was very tasty and great value, including the house wine.

As someone who now lives and works in 'that London' was great to finally discover The Quarter before attending an event at the Philharmonic with my Mum. From the warm welcome to the great food (the Ragu Beef Shin rigatoni is fabulous) to the ludicrously small bill (I'm used to obscene London prices) the Quarter hit the spot. A special shout out the great staff - especially the very lovely Martina - for looking after us. I'll be back for sure.

The quarter used to be a step above in terms of the quality of its ingredients, now it's the same as most places, black pudding tasted like cheap shop bought, the sausages also not as good as they used to be. However the most alarming thing was I asked for no mushrooms please, to be met with, we can't do that kitchen rules. So if I'm allergic to them, it's going on the plate anyway? Who's in the kitchen Marco Pierre white? Really disappointed there's better alternatives in the city centre now, not something I used to say.

We stumbled on The Quarter on the first night of a short break in lovely Liverpool, attracted in by the lovely lcation, the pretty lights and the fact that it was teeming with happy faces. They managed to fit us in and, as well as being lovely to us, were super-welcoming to our dog. Pescatarians were well catered for. The tuna nicoise and the haloumi salad were both delicious and we shared a wonderfully cheesy pizza and a huge piece of baked apple cheesecake. We loved it so much, we returned the next afternoon for another piece. Plenty of scope to walk it all off in this fabulous city! We'll be back next time we're in Liverpool. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We arrived on this sunny Saturday afternoon, mid October. Lucky to find a table outside. The service was friendly and good, very good. I had a Caesar salad, daughter an American Pizza and wife a Genoa pizza. The food was outrageously tasty. All of it, fresh and real. I will go again and again and again. Just a shame we live other side of the UK. Please do yourself a favour and go. This experience made me all of us so happy. Thanks chefs!

Came here on a busy Saturday evening with 3 teenagers. We didn’t have a reservation but were offered an outside table which suited us perfectly as it was a lovely day for September! Beautiful decor and clearly very popular, we were given a very warm welcome with a smile and staff were attentive throughout. The menu is varied, offering a range of superb Italian fare plus around 5 specials of the day. We opted for pizza plus pan fried cod in a magnificent lobster bisque, served with samphire potatoes. Beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Deserts too are top tier with a regular menu plus specials. If you go inside, you can see the deserts available and they taste as good as they look! If we lived closer, we would visit here often. A great find and highly recommended. A special shout-out to Fabio who attended to us with first class service throughout!

The quarter is one of my favourite restaurants to eat but the last time I went I had a bad experience. My friend has severe allergies and they don’t offer an allergen menu ( or at least that’s what we were told by a waitress) After my friend explains her allergies the waitress seems confused and recommends to her a fish dish although my friend had just listed seafood as one of her allergies (this was slightly comical at the time.) The waitress then tells us the only food she can eat from the menu is the steak. Overall she didn’t seem interested in the importance of knowing about allergies and she didn’t think to check with a manager or get an allergen folder which was later provided to us. After feeling uncomfortable and unsure with this interaction we grabbed another server who was a lot more helpful. Regretfully we didn’t get her name but she sat down with us and had an allergen folder and ended up recommending multiple dishes. The food came and it was delicious as usually but the first interaction was off putting and quite disappointing.

Brilliant service from Mia and Ava - really couldnt be faulted. Whilst chatting to us they found out it was one of our birthdays - cake with a candle and a chorus of Happy Birthday followed !! My wife had been here for breakfast with her family a few weeks ago, so we tried it out for lunch. We visited at Friday lunch time but were eating our main meal of the day. I'm not keen on Pizza and wanted more than a Salad (I wish I had chosen a salad!). I wasn't keen on the Pasta options (but probably should have chosen Prawn Linguine), so was left with a choice from the 'Grill' section of the menu. My wife chose the same as me and we both regretted our choice of Lamb Kofta. Although it was a generous portion it was not what we had hoped for. "Greek Salad" was a bit of a stretch... throwing a sprinkling of feta on lettuce, cucumber and tomato is not quite 'Greek' to me. The Kofta had some flavour but was not the greek taste we had anticipated? The Tzatziki was good. The Flatbread was soaked in fatty Kofta juice. I am not expert but wonder if the Kofta had been frozen or made a few days ago? Lots of juice but quite dry (happy to be corrected). We both left smelling of 'kitchen & cooking'. I'd recommend asking to sit further into the restaurant away from the open kitchen where it seemed to have a better atmosphere and aroma. Apart from the smell, the restaurant and toilets appeared clean. The toilets were well decorated. If you make better menu choices I'm sure you will enjoy eating here. We left to have coffee and dessert elsewhere due to the smell and disappointment of our poor choice of main course. The dessert options looked nice. Staff were nice enough, nothing over the top. It wasn't very busy. Give it a try. I doubt we will visit again.

Awful experience. First of all it took a while to be acknowledged by staff. Fine but the restaurant was empty. They then they seated us next to the toilet when plenty of other tables were free? Not appetising to have the toilet door left open next to us while eating. The food took a while to come. I’m not sure why because it was very underwhelming. Two of the dishes were very bland and the meat in the pasta was very processed, similar to what you would find in a meal deal. In summary, a disappointing experience and the food is substandard, it looks nice from the outside but don’t be fooled. I would recommend the restaurant across the road at the hope street hotel instead.

Have been here on a number of occasions and loved it. But this time the service was not great, with food coming before our drinks were served, portions had shrunk, and so had the choice on the menu.
