Just want to say a msasdive thankyou to head chef Mark Chloe and El the manager . Booked the Loft for my daughters 30th and unfortunately had to cancel as she was poorly. Staff excellent from start to finish changing menu from the off then when i did cancel ladt minute. com being so caring and considerste reasurring us and offering us alternative dates. Cant thank you all enough honestly from the bottom of our hearts❤️🙏And Mark you are a true assett to the business x Lovely manager lovely people x See you all soon x Paula x

Hired the 'Baby loft' at this venue for my daughters 21st birthday. What a fantastic choice, we had a wonderful evening. The food, hot and cold, was fabulous! The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble. The room was decorated beautifully and just the perfect size for our party of 50 with room for more, just in case! Wonderful all round. Highly recommended!

Don’t let this place fool you looks lovely but its below the normal poor I had hired rm and sit down meal for my daughters 21 birthday party food was urful 3 off my guest had food poisoning you get better food at a fair ground ! Lady was nice but service could of been a lot better said deserts came with crea or ice when guest ask for cream the member of staff never came back to her and stayed on opposite side of rm kids mash and sausage never came with gravy and mash was lumpy I can go just don’t make the mistake I did it had spoilt my daughters 21st what u carnt get back also the next day I rang to complain they offfered me a meal what i declined I would not go back to that place if you paid me 😢

I think this place has a lot of potential, (decor in Baby loft was beautiful - a really impressive setting and good seating areas) but the catering offer was poor for an event we attended, and I definitely wouldn't count on them if you have food restrictions. Bring your own backup. I was invited to a party where we were all paying 18 per head for, and the organiser said the offer at Babyloft would include scouse, or curry and to let her know if we had food restrictions, so she could pass this on to the restaurant. As a number of us were gluten intolerant and/or veggie, I was really glad this was asked, and assumed they'd make the scouse gluten free (a simple matter of using real stock, or a gf stock cube), and that the curry would probably be veggie as it's easier and cheaper to make it that way. Nope. They were actually offering anyone with food restrictions completely different food (this wasn't mentioned in advance though) whilst accepting advance payment for the curry/scouse. We didn't know we were paying for different food entirely until we'd been waiting in a queue for the scouse for ten minutes. We were then told to sit down and wait for separately plated food if we had food restrictions (this made sense, we thought - to avoid contamination) but they just gave us some triangles of lettuce with a few pea sizes of chicken (less than 1/4 of a breast chopped into baby bites) on top with avocado mash. There's no way on earth I'd pay nearly twenty quid for some iceberg with some meat sprinkles in a restaurant, so we were expecting it to be just a starter with more food to follow. However, we were told that was it. It looked like some kind of extreme diet, and I wished I'd brought my own gf bread/wraps. My cousin spoke up that she both was gf and veggie, so they took just took away the teeny chicken pieces! Meantime my mum and aunties said they couldn't eat the meat in the scouse - too large and tough to chew. My sister sent back the curry because it smelled like cigarettes - I had a sniff and concurred with this. We were not expecting fancy fare but it was farcical. Meantime, due to complaints, they brought us all out some sweet potato fries. Piles of them, because apparently it was the only thing they could think of that we could all eat. No dips, sauces, or even separate plates, just a massive bowl for us all to dip our hungry hands in. I do like s.p. fries, but where was the meat or cheese or protein we were craving by this point? I've been overeating protein ever since! I feel like they meant well, but having just walked through town, I noticed that literally a humble baked potato food truck could have catered to me better with less notice. I had a beautiful club sandwich and chips today at a much smaller place for half the price I paid Babyloft. Adding to the impression was whenever I went to buy a drink at the main bar, the staff were arguing with each other, or food was being sent back (burgers and chips which looked quite nice; as I was starving I felt like telling them to count themselves lucky!). Maybe they were just having a bad day, but I won't be going back.

Appalled to witness ( I believe to be the owner ) come out of the back and ragged a member of staff with strong force by their jacket resulting in them nearly falling. I cannot imagine what happened or got said when they got into the back. I certainly wouldn’t be going back into there or advise anybody to if this is how the staff get treated. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour. I also seen a post a few weeks ago on instagram of were The Lofts Instagram was mocking a door man’s cultural hair. This is absolutely disgusting. I usually enjoy the loft with my family and friends however I will not be returning !!!

I took my daughter out for lunch. When we got there it seemed empty except for 2 other people. However we were told had to wait 15 minutes for the chef to come back. We ordered but then waitress came over and said they didn't have salmon. Then few minutes later came back over to say they no longer serve vegan cheesecake despite it still being on the menu. So we ordered fish and chips and my daughter a sirloin steak. When came my daughter's steak was the thinnest I had seen and came with very salty oven chips and half tomato - for £15!? I had fish and again oven chips and tinned marrowfat peas. For dessert my daughter had chocolate fudge cake. We were given knife and fork for desserts and the strangest chocolate fudge cake. It was straight out of the fridge so had that cold near stale texture. But with caramel sauce it did not taste at all of chocolate. First and last time going. Terrible food. I felt sorry for the waitress.

julie (blonde lady) was beyond amazing always made sure she accommodated to our every need. Absolutely lovely girl, amazing service id go any bar she worked in !

We Had Baby shower here bar staff and all other staff were fantastic an room was spotless 2pm till 9pm had children in the party as well we were all welcome and evin mum got offered a complimentary drink on arrival we had food made for the guests and all was lovely .... Will be back to book the room again thanks had a great day there

I had an impressive friday night with my friends. Foods are delicious , cocktails are amazing and staff were so polite. Thanks to the Dilek for the organisation, and Barış and İpek for the amazing cocktails.

This is a very fun place, located centrally in Woolton village. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, nice place and chance to do your own celebrations parties in their seperate area as well.

I had my 70th Birthday in the back room called the baby loft. I had it from 5pm to 1am for people to pop in at anytime and for people with children who had to leave at 9. We had it for around 60 guests and with it being warm it was lovely to have air conditioning. The buffet was great and the staff so helpful. Special mention to Dilek. She sorted everything for us. I had heard some bad comments about the place on social media but my personal experience was fantastic.

We had a great time with friends at Loft last Friday evening. The variety of drinks was wide enough to cater for all tastes. The employees were smiling and kind, thanks to all of them.

We booked a girl's night out at this venue and it was just absolutely great. We just can't wait to make it a regular one. The atmosphere was magical; music system, the staff, cocktails... Everything was perfect.

We hosted our own Turkish music night in The Loft. around 40 Girls dancing to Turkish Music in this amazing venue. We were in the Baby Loft which is so beautiful and amazing. The staff were excellent 👍

Dreadful food! First option has sold out so asked for a cheeseburger and they forgot the cheese and gave me the worst burger I've ever had. Tasted frozen. The strongbow didn't taste like strongbow either.

Ordered food didn’t come the number on Uber went straight to owner who asking me while I was in work to come up and get my order because they don’t have a driver while I paid for delivery. Was a waste of time and money and I got no clear answer out of anyone I spoke to when I try to get a refund or a update on the order.

What a lovely place, I can not rate it high enough. 1st times here for meal and drinks. The staff could not do enough for you, went above and beyond to make sure our meal etc was ok and even went to the the effort to make a sauce that was not even on the menu. Pleasant, helpful and above and beyond staff. Well worth a visit.

I went to a family meal at the Loft this evening x what can I say about this evening the meal was to die for we all had an amazing meal everything & everyone who worked for the Loft are outstanding 🙌 we couldn't say we would change a thing the staff couldn't ❤ do enough if they tried I would recommend the Loft to anyone 1 condition they include me hahaha 😆 No seriously my youngest son is having a baby my granddaughter is 21 & my husband & I haven't been very well but it has been sooo special tonight I can't put into words how well we we're looked after & the owner was fantastic I met his wife & family ❤ & his team all I can say is go 2 the Loft NOW & PLEASE INVITE ME ❤ I can go any time but failing that I will be there next week with my friends Thank you The Loft don't change anything Gail & family xxxx

We had an amazing lunch, and the lovely people that works here helped us a lot to get the correct bus. They treated us really nice. I will come back in my next visit to Liverpool.

Went to the loft on Saturday for food and drinks and what more can I say! Excellent. The food was great and drinks were cheap for such a great bar. All staff went out of their way to ensure we was satisfied. My grandmother has a disability and they insured that she was looked after. Later in the night me and a few friends went back for the late night disco. This place just got even better exceptional service and entertainment. For such a small intimate space it’s a great atmosphere that I haven’t seen for a long time. A great mix of all age ranges. This is a great place for the locals and it’s right in your step rather than having to go into the city centre to have a good night. I highly recommend this place throughout the week for food or for a night out on the weekend.

What appeared like family members being bar staff, but having domestic disputes in front of the really empty bar. Such a shame because the place has potential. The signs warning about CCTV kinda ruin the atmosphere... The menu is spelled wrong... And the older fella, I'm assuming is the owner, REALLY shouldn't be customer facing. The younger staff are great... It's the owner causing trouble that kinda makes me not wanna come back. And walking empty trays of food from a private party through the main bar is REALLY unprofessional. Probably won't come back.

Very bad experience, I would not recommend to my friends..food was very bad and it was showing me the garlic bread is free for an order more than 20£ and they charge me 😡… and also the food is over price for the quality plus i was supposed to receive rice for my menus and didn’t come…

I came here for Christmas day. The service was nice and the staff were friendly however the quality of the food was well below standard. Starters main and the dessert were all awful. The main Christmas Dinner was the worst. The only part I could eat was the meat as the rest tasted like frozen food. The potatoes tasted exactly the same as aunt Bessie's frozen roast potatoes as with the stuffing and the veg also seemed like it was frozen not fresh.

Large room with unusual decor and well kept, the bar service was nice and friendly. We did wait a long time for each course but this seemed to be unusual as a member of staff noticed and offered a round of free drinks

Nice enough place been here a few times. The only thing that puts me off is the last 3 times we have been here there is always a older man just videoing everyone for hours. The last time he was just sat at the table by the window videoing everyone on his phone. I'm assuming he works there as he was also in the dj box doing it there. I'm not sure why he does it. He does it throughout the whole night and doesnt ask for consent. It's a bit creepy a couple sat by us left because they felt uncomfortable.

We stopped at the Loft for a quick bite and were happily surprised by the content of the lunch menu + its top quality/price ratio. Had a lovely Turkish chicken and a halloumi wrap which were super tasty. The staff is super welcoming and friendly too. Highly recommend :)

Went mid week, set lunch menu 2 courses.. Service was great, Food was terrific, portions were huge all for less than £10.. Will go often now..

Tonight was the first time I have visited The Loft. I went with my parents and my children 17 and 8. We had starters and main meals. The food was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed their meal and there was plenty of food. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. I will be returning again.

Terrible, went for the Christmas meal that was advertised Tue 14/12/21 we had already put the choice of meals in the pub 3 days earlier, They had no soup for the starter, the pate should of come with a garnish, there was none, when the Christmas meal arrived it was a turkey steak (looked like a Iceland effort) placed on a selection of diced carrots peas and sprouts that were all from a frozen bag of veg, We sat and waited for the rest of the meal which didn't turn up after 5 minutes I asked is that all were getting..yes was the reply. No spuds no Yorkshire puds no pigs in blankets no gravy, They didn't even have the puddings that were offered even if we had got that far because we got up and left without paying a thing. Seems the explanation was the chief had been sacked and the person cooking the meal didn't understand what a Christmas meal is, ?????? Total disaster, ended up the weatherspoons for a curry 🤔🤔

Very very disappointed. According to menu i was having a traditionly Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. What I was served was a piece of Turkey fried potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables no stuffing,pigs in blanket or cranberry sauce and it was all cold The dessert was as bad supposed to be lemon posset it was cold custard with broken biscuits in it and soggy I jst còuld not eat any of after complaining to serving staff we were told if we didn't mind waiting the owner would come in to speak to we waited over an hour but he or she didn't arrive

Food basic and ok but way over priced, few weeks ago you'd get a starter and a main for under £10, now you get some deep fried McCain oven chips and a few pieces of chicken on a skewer for £9.95. avoid.

Excellent venue, only negative is they should think of lifting the tables of a Saturday night when it gets really busy as can get a bit cramped

I like the Loft. It was brilliant when they had DJ Ian Longo and you could dance there. I would definitely recommend for a night out. Hoping when we get normality back you can dance there.

We went just for drinks on this occasion. The bar was quiet but slowly people came in it’s a lovely immaculate bar. The place is spotless all of the staff who served us were very polite. I have never seen such hard working staff turning their hands to jobs to keep occupied. Not just standing around looking bored they are a credit to the Owner/ Manager. Next time we visit we plan on sampling a sharing board.

Been a couple of times to The Loft, and I can honestly say it is amazing. The food and the staff just look after you. Keep up the good work.

The new owners have opened a lovely Garden area.They are working really hard to attract new custom .Found it great value for money and really needs people to support this venture. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Will be back soon.

To whom it may concern, I am hoping that you can assist me with my complaint. My family and I attended your establishment on Christmas Day, we did not want to make an official complaint on the day as your staff had spoken about staffing issues and it was difficult to get their attention during the meal never mind to complain. When we decided to book with you we ordered off the original menu and paid the deposit. When we first arrived we were seated and given a menu but nobody took our drinks order for a while. When the order was taken the drinks took a while to arrive. My family and I were then really patient waiting for somebody to ask us if we were ready for our pre-ordered food to start arriving. This did not happen and in the mean time we noticed that the menu did not match the one which we had originally ordered from. The starter, main and dessert I had agreed to eat at your restaurant for was no longer available. I attempted to speak to multiple staff members about this, I think the newer staff did not know there had been a menu change, the older staff did not offer any solutions and although your manager was lovely and promised us anything we wanted when I then ordered the nut roast as I had ordered in November I was disappointed and frustrated to see a mediocre lasagne with very few chips and a unflattering few leaves for a salad arrive. We were disappointed again when we waited to order drinks, then approached the bar and called staff over multiple times in the hope of getting a drink. After only having one drink in 1 hour and 30 minutes I approached the bar and told a staff member that 3 of our drinks had not arrived and we had been waiting for around 30 minutes. He then proceeded to make us complimentary drinks but only brought two over so my father was still left without a drink. I intended to enjoy my food but I found all courses except the starter dry especially since I did not have a drink accompany my food. We again attempted to order more drinks and a staff member wrote down our order to then not been seen again for a long time. We asked another member of staff if they knew the whereabouts of our drinks and were told that she did not do drinks but would send somebody else over to chase them up. We waited 10 minutes for this other person to approach us and help us figure out why our drinks had not arrived but they did not come. A while later we asked another person who then took the order for a second time. I think your manager noticed how our Christmas meal was being ruined by the poor service and so brought over 3 complimentary drinks but yet again no drink for my father. We all found the desserts to be plain and at this point were were in the restaurant for over 3 hours. I had one drink which I had ordered and the stress of having to constantly chase staff for the whereabouts of the food and drink was exhausting. We understand that Christmas is a busy time and so were extremely polite and patient with your staff but I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with the service we received. We would not return to your establishment for Christmas dinner which is sad as we were hoping to make a tradition of eating out for Christmas. I will also inform my friends and family of what they should expect if they chose to dine with your restaurant. I do not think it is acceptable that I paid £35 for a starter I would not happily pay more than £4/5 for, a main which I did not order and did not eat as I do not like lasagne and a dry desert. I hoping that you will understand my frustrations and understand that although there may have been reasons why your staff failed to provide good customer service it was still my families Christmas Dinner and experience which suffered. We were really looking forward to meal especially after the year we have all had but by the end of the meal we were desperate to leave and go home. I hope that you can help us to reach a solution for the disappointment we endured on Christmas Day at the hands of your restaurant. This is the complaint I sent to the restaurant which they blanked. When I told my family and friends about how disappointed I was none of them were shocked as they all said they have received awful customer service from there. Having to go up to the bar to re-order drinks and waiting over 45 minutes for a drink on a normal night. I attempted to be civil and understanding as I understood it was Christmas however the company ignoring my messages without so much as an apology shows that they do not care about their customer service or customers.
