Wonderfully tranquil place to start the morning. Great range of vegan and vegetarian options. I had vegan Cumberland sausage on sourdough toast with kombucha. It was great to have the option of vegan croissant and a range of vegan cakes.

Lovely convenient place for a vegetarian lunch opposite Euston Station. A bit noisy near to the serving counter, but very quiet if you can get a booth down the corridor. They seat 4, so it's a pity that individuals seem to bag them for themselves. Nice bookshop in the next room.

This is a great place if you need somewhere for an informal business meeting close to Euston station. The drinks are cheap - just £1.35 for a cup tea.It does feel more like a cafe than a restaurant, and might not be quiets good as the Wellcome Foundation just down the road.

Great place to go if waiting for a train from Euston as it is straight across Euton Road opposite Euston station. (you don't have to be a Quaker or have any religious leanings to eat at this cafe and rest assured you won't be approached to 'sign up' over your latte. Good selection for lunch or a light bite, prices are less than other chain coffee shops and the staff here are very welcoming. Also there is a seating area in outdoor courtyard when weather is fine. Tip- toilets here are very good and usually not very busy- ideal if you are facing a long train journey!

I visited here, after googling for a nice place to eat, whilst waiting for my train home. It was a lovely sunny day and Euston Station was bustling, right across the road. I ordered soup- because the portion sizes of the meals were too big for me, a large coffee and a slice of cake and sat outside in the sunshine. Everything was just perfect. Soup was delicious, as was the cake and coffee. The restaurant was clean, busy and the staff were nice. A great place to sit and have lovely food at a great price. Plenty of choice, including vegetarian. They also do sandwiches and wraps to take away, and if you feel inclined, you can pay for an extra soup for someone in need. The toilets were also very clean. Great find, don't pass it by!!

What a lovely little find. Arrived and departed many times from Euston and didn’t even know this place existed.Thank you reviewers. Immediately facing Euston station ,across the busy road, this is an absolutely spotlessly clean little gem, We chose to sit inside, as it was unusually hot, but a terrace and a pretty enclosed garden were other options. Lunchtime offers, included a lovely broccoli quiche , accompanied by hot new potatoes, and help yourself to half a dozen salads, other options were lentil lasagne ,which seemed very popular, and green vegetables in a coconut sauce and rice. Less than £14 for two ,including a nice cold Sicilian lemonade....not licensed.....I thought was excellent value for London. All served by very polite staff.Thank you.

But then it was busy and a little confusing; queue or sit and wait? well the result was bit of both and food is clean and you keep thinking it's going to be 'alright'. I wasn't expecting this bright spacious cafe in this building (not sure why, but we all have our preconceptions). The food looked inviting, with an array of fresh salads and quiches, alongside the hot dishes, paninis and cakes. The seating area was adaptable and friendly, with upholstered benches or sofas actually in the book shop (kind of my dream - food and books....)I had quiche and salad, my companion had a panini.Getting served was a bit confusing at first - it wasn't clear if you had to queue up and ask for the quiches/salad and I ended up standing around in that peculiarly British way, hoping someone would notice me. Fortunately they did, and after that it was very efficient. (I think it was just because we were early for lunch and that bit wasn't quite ready).Definitely recommended.

I have been here a few times before. Was a little disappointed that restaurant downstairs was closed for private event, but we arrived early so had lunch at smallish cafe on ground floor (restaurant downstairs is bigger) and we were very happy with the food. I had very tasty vegetarian scotch egg (would like the recipe-a lot of garlic, I think but herbs too), and a piece of broccoli and Stilton tart with 2 tasty portions of salad. Large piece of carrot cake superb. Peaceful atmosphere close to Euston Station. In summer it is possible to eat in courtyard. Fair prices. Noted that they sell some gluten free food. (Please ask if not labelled.) They also sell some organic groceries, eg ground coffee, olive oil from Palestine (a bit expensive- but rather special, I guess). And you are surrounded by books, but please don't get any food on them. A couple of places to charge up your device, should you so need. Toilets a bit of a walk away but on the same floor. Someone did come in a wheelchair so there is access (But please check for details.) Note cafe and restaurant closed Sunday. Open during the week 8am-7pm, Saturday 9-3pm. I normally love this place but today I was unaware that the place closed at 7pm and instead of being politely told when they were closing I was shouted at 20 seconds after all the lights went out. I am deaf and unless I'm looking at a person I'm unaware of auditory information, unless it's being shouted at me from the other side of a room! Apparently I was supposed to know what time they close and in the space between closing at 7pm on the dot and the 20 seconds it took me to pack my things I was ordered out in a rude manner. I explained to kasia who was working that I am deaf and at no point did she come and tell me, she responded that she doesn't have time to tell eve one individually - fair enough but there were three of us! She also tried to defend herself by saying I must understand her! A little bit of awareness of accessibility would go a long way for an organisation that markets itself as fairtrade. Selling over priced olive soap from Palestine means little to someone who is deaf and treated with rudeness. Shame as I love the place otherwise.

I was expecting a calm oasis in the heart of London but on this occasion it was very busy as there was some sort of conference taking place with people milling about everywhere. Finding the toilet was extremely difficult and could be better signposted. The food in the cafe was very tasty although the service was a bit haphazard. Why not have one person serving food and another at the till rather than both trying to do several things at once. Many of the tables were occupied by people working at laptops and in no hurry to move. Thus we were actually lucky to get a space. Having had warm recommendations about the cafe I was a little disappointed to be honest but at least the food was good.

Just grabbed a lovely cream tea and Sandwich here and as always it was excellent just £3.70 for a cream really and £2.50 for a scrumptious onion bhaji sandwich it's no wonder why I keep coming back. This value next to Euston Station is fantastic ... and the loos are free too :)

I have been working in the Euston area this week and this has been my lunchtime destination all week and will be again tomorrow.People should not be put off because the café is in a religious building. The café area is well decorated and is used by all members of society – from students to business executives and local elderly people.Although the café is very small they manage to offer two – three main courses, soups as well as the usual paninis and other café fare. The food is always freshly cooked and ethically sources. There is always a queue but it moves very fast as the staff are efficient and prompt. Occasionally food runs out (due to popularity); when this happens, staff members do their best to offer alternatives. All staff members are lovely. They appear to know all of the regular customers and I’m starting to feel like a regular myself after only four days of dining in. The building is very atmospheric. It has been sympathetically modernised and has all mod cons such as air con and free wi-fi. They even offer free chilled drinking water.Where else in London can you get a bowl of home-made vegetarian soup with a roll and butter for £3.00…?The café is less than five minutes’ walk from Euston train station too!

Absolutamente recomendado!!

Called in at 6pm on a Wednesday evening for a coffee before heading across the road to Euston station before starting a 12-hour night shift.I normally only have time for a quick Costa nearby but had a little more time on my hands tonight so consulted Trip Advisor for alternatives and found The Quaker Centre Cafe, and I'm glad I did.I sat in the relatively peaceful courtyard area with a large americano to drink and whiled away an hour reading before the chaos of the night shift to come.Service was pleasant, the coffee was nice, and prices were reasonable. Free wifi is also available. I'll definitely return here again.

This was a return visit with business colleagues. The lunch was really good, hot and plentiful. The desserts were also enjoyable including a wide selection of fruit. The good weather allowed us to sit in the open quadrangle. Interesting to see that the external gardens are being redeveloped which should make a very comfortable and relaxing area to the side of the main building.

This is a gem of tranquility in a very busy part of London. I needed to be interviewed for a book and we were able to do this easily without feeling crowded or rushed. The cafe was busy and there was plenty of noise, but no so as you couldn't hold a relaxed meeting. The mixture of seating options mean it is suitable to work in as well as socialise.

We had a family lunch here on Wednesday including my 8 month old daughter. The atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly. It was comfortable and thee were toys and books for the little one. The staff were really welcoming and encouraging. We popped in for a cup of tea and ended up having lunch and then coffee too! Prices are very reasonable and the books available to buy seem worth a browse.

I was walking past The Friends Quaker Cafe on my way to somewhere else but decided to go in and try their tea and cake and I was very glad I did. There is a nice little cafe area and also a beautiful quiet courtyard to sit and enjoy a conversation with friends over tea of coffee and cake and sandwiches. A lovely find. Only slight disappointment was the rather surly girl serving. Eastern European so the language may have been a barrier. I will give her the benefit of the doubt. Having said that a great place to have a quiet hour or so. Highly recommended.

I have eaten here a few times as we often have meetings here. It is a great coffee shop with nice food, tea etc and good prices. As befits the Quaker ethos, they use fairtrade and other ethical produce. It is usually quiet and good for vegetarians.

I popped into this cafe after a visit to the British Library. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service very friendly. I had a generous portion of freshly made aubergine and tomato bake, served with sauted new potatoes and inventive and tasty fresh green salad. The meal was piping hot and very tasty and, at £6.50, very reasonably priced. I'd certainly make for this cafe again when I'm next in the area. I do recommend it.

Friendly neighbourhood pub - good selection of beers and have started doing good food again! Outside area is great on a warm day - generally tends to be a good atmosphere.

We loved our lunch at Carrots and Daikon yesterday. I had the garlic tofu Banh mi and my husband had the tofu lunch box. The baguette forming my Banh mi was the perfect combination of crunch with a soft centre and the tofu was nicely garlicky. What really made our day were the ice creams! The chrysanthemum and mango ice cream was such a fantastic combination and the matcha and pistachio was delicious too. We then bought one of each of the other flavours and I must admit that the combinations are creative genius! Who would’ve thought that mint choc chip would go with coffee and raspberry and jasmine tea with its floral notes would hit the spot?! I thought that the coconut and lemongrass was super refreshing too. Thank you to the friendly folk at C & D.

Opened last year or early this year..very pleasant and airy bar / cafe, which if you're arriving early for a meeting or finishing early, is a nice place to chew over the errors in your recent ritual meeting! As usual in London all a bit pricey but very convenient after a meeting in the Temples. Very bright and tastefully decorated with the usual good staff.
