Firstly the pictures of the food and menu on here are non existent and in no way did our food look as pleasant as they do on here! I really wish I took pictures but I would’ve been embarrassed to let people see me think the foods that good to take a photo, the food looked as bland as it tasted. Secondly Please take done the Italian flag as you do not deserve it! To serve me an ‘Italian’ meat and cheese selection tapas with English cheddar cheese is an absolute disgrace let alone apparently running out of prosciutto and not even saying, 6 slices of packet purchased salami, 2 sticks of English cheddar cheese and some cheap certainly not Italian olives for over £7 is daylight robbery, let alone the other 3 tapas dishes of bland bruschetta (sliced soft baguette), emnemic prawns looking boiled and certainly not pan fried with not even a hint of flavour or seasoning to then serve the warm prawns on a plate with chopped up iceberg spells out complete amateurs to me, the whitebait dish was actually really tasty although again served with plain undressed iceberg. Wine was lovely I will say and I would return for the bar and wine menu and general ambience but cetainly never again for food. Also you may want to remove the pasta and focaccia menu from your website if you no longer serve this food

Cant say much about this place, however first impression was very good. We went there with my friends, only had couple of cocktails, did not try tapas. But we will definitely come back, to try their food as well.

No booking was made for this lunch time meal as this Bar can be used on the ad-hoc basis of table availability. The Bar itself is easy to find being in the main pedestrian precinct of Gravesend High Street. There is parking nearby and the railway station is within easy walking distance. The overall light and airy ambiance and atmosphere was fitting for an establishment of this size and the service was attentive and at the right level of friendliness from beginning to end. The Bar has a limited lunch time menu, but should offer a choice of something on it for all, as does their wine list. All food ordered was very good in quality and value, presented to a good standard with decent portions being served. However, if menu says it comes with something then it should have that ingredient with it (the Basilico Pomodoro e Mozzarella did not have any basil in it). It also has to be said that their current Rose Prosecco was excellent and (a nice touch this) was served in ice cold glasses. I recommend this Bar and would use it again if in the area.

We popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying until closing time. We had the obligatory glass of prosecco, but then started on the cocktails which were very strong! There was music playing and then a lady got up to sing. We thought it would be a bit karaoke, but she was very good and we all ended up dancing. They also serve food so we will return another time to try out the menu.

We stopped here at the weekend after having a great time in The Panic Room - and decided to stay in Gravesend for a small lunch. Unfortunately small is the over riding factor. The initial reaction when entering the Bar was very positive - the décor was very appealing and smart and the waiter was welcoming and helpful. But ..... I know tapas are tasters and so in themselves are not large - but, we had 3 large platters (could either have large platters or small platters where you choose between 2 - 4 ingredients) between 7 adults and the servings were miniscule. The slice of Brie was smaller than you would put on an individual cracker! In contrast the pickles/mustard you were given was far too much in relation to what you could have it with - the pickles etc were the star of the show and the meat and cheese was the ever so small accompaniment. What a shame! In my opinion could be so much more!

Called in on off chance and went for 3 large platters and it has to be said the servings were shocking, slithers of cheese, ham etc, and laughably copius amounts of pickle, relish & mustard. Nice looking place but really felt short changed on what we were served.

This used to be a good place for interesting tapas, but we went for a meal recently and were very disappointed. The bar was full, very noisy, mainly mid-twenties who had to shout at each other so they could drown the poor singer. Then the menu has changed - gone are the tapas items replaced by "platters", all of which were items that could be brought out of a fridge. I guess they've got rid of the kitchen staff. It's now a noisy, young focused, drinking place - shame, the food was good.

The Prosecco!

This is a "very" cozy establishment with a nice atmosphere. The young lady waiting the table was very friendly and helpful as we chose a selection from the tapas menu. A good selection of Prosecco options made the evening go off with a "pop". Unfortunately the food failed to live up to expectations with garlic bread that looked like it had just come out of Iceland! and food proportions insufficient to feed a family of 3 let alone a table of 8 adults. We happened to book on the night of some live entertainment which was well received and made up for the poor quality and quantity of food. This all said, if you fancy a night out in Gravesend with a friend and a bottle of Prosecco it is still worth a visit - just don't order food!

Lovely place for a glass (or bottle!) of prosecco and some light bites. Have visited on many occasions for both food and also just for drinks and always find the atmosphere nice and cosy. It makes a nice alternative from the local pubs in town to have a drink.

Only two bottles of prosecco to choose from in a place claiming to be a prosecco bar. We were seated by the bar and staff were constantly reaching over us with not even a hint of an apology. Music was overbearing in such a small place. Food was relatively okay, hot and fresh if a little tasteless. Was looking forward to my first visit here but I won't be rushing back!

Loved Prosecco! Visited for the opening night and was thoroughly impressed by the service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and especially considerate of my dietary requirements. I wish Prosecco all success as they are working hard to secure a difficult market in Gravesend. Support local! Glad to say we will be booking a large group for predrinks in the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to visiting a now established restaurant. Ignore the rubbish review below, this place deserves our support as it is a brave venture for the owner.

We booked a table for a couple of hours pre-dinner elsewhere this weekend, (a group of 6 ladies), so we did not sample the food and can only review the setting. I was surprised that it is relatively small and so if you don’t book a table it may not be easy to spend an evening here I would imagine it gets very busy. There was a singer whilst we were there which was good. The staff were friendly and one of us took the pretty bottles away we were given so they could be used as candle holders which was nice. The ambience was nice and it has achieved a nice wine bar vibe, I would not usually drink in this town centre and they have succeeded in creating a setting that would entice me back, however if the clientele they are aiming at are to return I do think that the “cash only” payment method might be detrimental. Good luck to them anyway.

UPSETTING, Having invited members of the family to my husbands Birthday, they were refused entry in a most off-hand manner ,as no record of my booking was found..............AT FIRST. ( I had booked a table a month before with the Manager.) On my husband and my self complaining for the third time of going in. The girl picked up the book looked inside ( you should have seen her face ) then said she would have the table set up immediately. I was disgusted as I had ordered a cake as well, and this would not happen on the night.

This is what the high street area needs, a nice wine bar with a good selection of wine and a choice of Prosecco. I went there with my wife on Friday afternoon. The decor was very nice and attractive. We had a bottle of Prosecco and panini. The food was well presented .The staff were friendly. It was not very busy . The only downside was that they do not have a card reader , so everything has to be paid in cash.

What a fabulous addition to the High Street, Gravesend. I would say that the tapas are more like starters but having said that they are all very tasty and we did try all of them during the long Saturday afternoon/evening that we spent there! Staff are very friendly and efficient, there was a great singer, who got everyone up dancing, and the owner is a true gent. I loved it and now that the High Street part of town is up and coming, with this place, the refurbished Pier Hotel, the fabulous Riva and the tremendous Three Daws we are getting well and truly spoilt. Keep it up Gravesend, getting back to being great.

This place is a great addition to a seemingly struggling town. Its got a casual and relaxed feel as you'd hope from a tapas and wine bar. The wine list is good, with just enough choice, obviously focussed on Italian produce. Food is lovely, dishes are well presented and reasonably priced.

I came here with a couple of friends to celebrate a 21st, just a casual drink in the early afternoon. At £6 for a glass of prosecco it was quite dear, but the place is beautifully decorated, comfortable and the staff are nice. When we got the cake and candles out for my friend, the staff even joined in singing and then gave us all a free shot to celebrate. A lovely place, and I'll definitely come back for a visit in the evening when it will hopefully be a bit livelier.

Excellent food, only let down was other customers or would have been a 5. We arrived for our wedding anniversary and although the restaurant was mainly empty, we were sat next to a very loud table of 8 and another couple. The noise from one particular person was so constant and obnoxious with language, we ate as quickly as possible just so we could leave because we couldn’t actually hear each other or the staff when taking our order. Sadly the other couple who were by us also felt the same. Shame really as we came for the dessert but the language and shrieking from the one customer ruined the evening for us. As we were leaving, the group was then placed in the centre of the restaurant probably to ruin everyone else’s meal too. The food though was outstanding and I can highly recommend it and the staff too who tried to put up with what was happening. The table by us had the desserts we wanted and it looked perfect but the noise was too much.

Absolutely awful food! if I could this would have a ZERO rating from me. ordered as delivery. Disappointed that food was missing from my order and delivery driver didn't care, he just blamed the girl in the store. bottle of drink was coated in thick grease. Opened the pizzas, looked covered in oil! One of them couldn't even be picked up to eat as all the toppings slid off leaving an oily soggy base and overcooked cheese left in a pile in the box. cheese was the texture you get of you microwave cheese! The WORST thing was HAIR baked into the pizza! My partner and I have had diarrhea and vomiting since! Clearly hygiene standards are NOT being met and I've been advised to contact the agency that deals with this snd report them. We DEFINITELY will NOT be ordering from or recommending this restaurant to anyone!
