The Princes Feathers in Cheshire West and Chester

Had another fabulous 3 night stay for business purposes. Sarah, Mary and Gwyneth were all once again friendly and extremely informative about the hotel. Could not fault them or the hotel in any way. It’s a budget hotel with excellent staff.

Used to be great but last order was very lacklustre especially for the price (was multiple items for a large group and all was very honestly less impressive than a microwave meal)

Please don’t waste your money here. Came with my dog for a quiet pint at 5pm on a Thursday afternoon and was served by the bar staff to no complaints and with ease. Thought I would stay for a second so went to order. Was spoken to so rude by the landlady who sat on a seat guarding the front door that dogs are not allowed. She embarrassed me in front of a group of customers that she was next too stating this even when I was served initially. I have witnessed dogs in the pub plenty of times hence me choosing to go there. The website and internet also confirms this. Have the correct policy and follow through with it with all customers rather than treat everyone differently. Terrible customer service this is by the person who is meant to run the business. Left shocked and won’t be returning id advise you do the same if you have a dog.

Have ordered here often, for any food you have to tell them dont overcook it, otherwise they will cook anything and everything a bit too overdone. The pizza is expensive for an independent and again they can easily overdo it and not really care. One of the older servers has no customer service skills and can be rude,the younger one is much better and tries to talk to you. I have had a kebab from here recently and did mention to the guy not to overcook it,the chicken kebab was good. Got fries from here but stopped as they repeatedly overdone them, get these from Sammy's now.

Barista Maestro Tom did a great job working through the queue despite being the only barista serving, he was helpful when I asked about the afternoon deal and was friendly. The WiFi at this Costa was pretty awful, but good other than that.
