All hail Prince George. The king of pubs in all Thornton heath. Really good pre footy boozer. Speedy, friendly service, decent drinks, not gastro pub prices. My type of drinking hole.

Newly 'refurbished' but not complete. No real ale, just the fizzy stuff. Great if you are a lager drinker. Gets busy when Crystal Palace are playing a home game...

Spent yesterday afternoon in pub, before watching Fulham play at Crystal Palace, superb selections of beers, amazingly friendly and quick staff, good atmosphere,all in all great away fans pub

Great pub for a beer and a game if pool or darts. Friendly staff and local patrons. Tends to be more male patrons than female, and all are welcome. Great pint prices too.

After being refused entry to the Railway Telegraph as an away fan, we carried on to to the Prince George. Absolutely rammed, but very efficient and friendly service, and well-managed in/out control. Good choice of beer too. Full marks.

Nice a local Irish pub. A tasty Staropramen, enjoyable atmosphere, jukebox has a wide selection playlist. Friendly, inviting a bar staff. Not too expensive as the other local pubs.

Ok not the best pub unless you like lager

Went in here on Saturday with my son , ordered a pint of lager and an orange juice, watched barman type in the price of the drinks and then change them to so called football prices ! So I paid £9.00 for a small pint of larger in a plastic glass and an orange juice robbing Bas@@rds , all away fans steer clear 😡🤬

I went to play snooker and it was good , good experience and good people, I watched a movie too while playing.

Great fun, the regulars are nutters! Bar staff April, Donovan and Daniel are top notch

Wouldn't bother if you're not 21. 3 huge bouncers charging anyone under 21 to get in or to buy them alcohol from a shop. That's not a thing. Once in, constantly coming up and asking for money off you.

Its okay.not the best selection of drinks for my taste.but would visit again.

We visited on a slow night but the ambience was so good we stayed. There are games available and a modernised juke box! Drinks were affordably priced as well.

Nice pub, friendly staff, they have prosecco and cocktails so I was happy. They don't do food but you are allowed to bring food in and there are plenty of food places along Thornton Heath High Street. Will definitely go back

Watched the rugby after football. Friendly place and in particular the staff. Offered drink top up after a small spill, rare these days. Away and home fans, everyone enjoying a regular pub. Been going for few years.

Friday nights are the best nights from about 10-2am. Nice friendly vibe, some cool disco lights dimly lit, no trouble makers, very mixed social crowd with a wide veriety of music playing from afro funk classic/oldskool classical jaz vibes, very social and mellow from early on, then over to a bit good old UK garage/rnb/reggae/80/90s classics & rare grooves, age range was aprox like mid 20s-40s so was a nice age range too. Also have a 2 for £11 deal on cocktails and deals on shots too. Wasn't packed to the point you couldn't move which is good imo, it means you can actually dance lol. Bar guy was super polite and cool also shakes a leg behind the bar which was nice and entertaining to see, ID is defo required. Had a real good time. Heard Thursdays are similar, maybe check those out too. :)

Recently refurbished pub, nice layout friendly crowd. The Toilets though haven't been touched for probably 40 years.

Pub has recently been revamped and now has little seating but very large open floor space, presumably to accommodate football fans. Spent a lot of money on the pub I think but unfortunately did not reach the toilets

Very busy on match days, home and away fans mix happily. Excellent bar staff, on top of their game, friendly and get through the volume really well, normally banging playlist playing in the background as well as sports on the tv's. Typical, but excellently run South London boozer.

Absolutely gorgeous people - made me very welcome on what was necessarily a short pit-stop (would have stayed longer otherwise). Also a nice pint of Guinness at very reasonable price (can't imagine what 'expensive pint' another reviewer bought - whisky??)
