Flamingo Kebab House in Croydon

Ordered chicken kebab today and the meat was awful. Tastes bad and slimy. As soon as I started eating felt belly ache. Chips were cold and really greasy. Worst kebab I ever had. Never again!!!!

Cash ONLY. Rude as you could imagine as they treat each customer as though they've been on the piss drinking allday.. and this lot don't advertise they don't take card payment other than a silly little postcard by the till.. They go all sarcastic when you find out. Didn't even start my order before you paid. Twenty year customer, gone for good! Byeee👋

Just a standard kebab. Nothing special and go to it as there isn’t a huge selection in the area. The meat is way too chewy and chicken not great.

Good portion size, quick service, staff communicate well.

Watch out for the flies in the salad. Had one in my last two orders. Not ordering from them again.

Portions are ridiculous! The kids portion (£9) is bigger than regular kofte £12. Additionally there was no juice for kids menu in the delivery. Completely it is not worty for this price (unfortunately).

Horrible meat and chips his so greedy for the money look at what you’re serving. Cooking the chicken in a fryer then on the bbq horrible waist off money will not be going back there

Awful, I used to be a regular but not any more . When my husband brought the on line order home it was all wrong and cold .no pitta bread with the Donna just chips under the meat to bulk it up . Cost £ 22 to a company called yoyo who operates in Copenhagen 😂😂Gone down hill big time.

I have been going to flamingo kebab house for the past 10 years . The food is fabulous and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Food was not very good tonight which is very unusual. Rice was very sticky and had brown things in it. Chicken was dry may have to give these up now for a while. Ordered 1 x Kids meal for my Granddaughter, and the Mayo had been added to the food so made the whole meal very soggy, and looked a mess on the plate surely this would be added separately so the child can decide how much they want on their food. Will go back to making my own Shish Kebab I

Flamingo's have really gone downhill. They used to be the best. Tonight they got my order wrong and smothered my food in red sauce when I asked for garlic sauce. It was cold. I asked for salad in a separate container and they put the chicken in the same box on top of the salad. I could not eat it and will never buy from flamingo again or Desperado as they are the same people.

Good service and good food, I recommend this place if you like kebab.

Great kebab shop we've used them a lot, fast service and delivery along with polite staff, you can't go wrong.

Food was excellent and service was quick. A tiny bit expensive but considering the quality and quantity, I think that becomes insignificant.

1st class kebabs seperate chicken sheesh, salad, bread and sauce. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Decent well made and tasty kebabs, always friendly and welcoming.

Ordered a chicken wrap and falafel wrap and chips to be delivered. The chips were cold and not fresh. There was no option to select salad or sauces for wraps only kebabs. So I was given a wrap with some tough over cooked chicken in. No sauce or salad on side. Yet the falafel one had salad just because I put no tomato. When I called to ask for another one to be reordered I was told I would have to come and pick it up myself. I then asked for a refund and they said I needed to call the third party although I ordered from there website. Shocking customer service. This place used to be very nice and they have never delivered wrap like this before. Will not be coming back or recommending anymore

Very bad quality. Ordered XL portion of kebab but received large with small sale portion. It's too busy place due to old reputation but the quality seems to be going down.

Very poor service. Bought a vegi burger bun recently but only tommoto inside with a burger. Also, the salad quantity for XL and small kebab the same. Previously it was a very good place but perhaps too much business and as a result the quality and quantity has gone down.😟

I orderd, 2 kebabs 1 chips and a bottle of coke at 6.30. After a few phone calls the food finally arrived minus the bottle of coke two and a half hours later stone cold.When i called to say part of my order was missing and the food was cold.I was simply told that the price of the coke would be taken off my next order.NEXT ORDER?.The only thing that would have insulted me more was if the delivery driver launched it at me when i opend the door and slapped my wife.(very poor service)....... from a once regular customer

Awful experience having walked in. Been a long term customer online. Walked in having been in london for the day, ordered my food as normal and then when i went to pay i was told i was incorrect and wrong because i wanted to pay by card. I fully respect small businesses need to keep costs down and cash payments make that possible. However there was no sign or confirmation from the staff that cash is the only way to pay over £10. Again this is not a problem but when you walk in, order and than get told you are in the wrong when you ask to pay by card than it is the problem of the shop and not the customer. If you have a minimum spend by card than make it obvious to your customer bwfore they order and dont make them feel like idiots because of your limitations!!! I would have happily got cash out beforehand but because of the rudeness i decided to walk away and therefore a loyal customer online will take their business elsewhere. Good food but customer service serioously lacks. Therefore dont order

Amazing friendly staff, the shish kebabs are so very nice, the vegetable kebab is tasty and it comes with humus and coleslaw, corn on the cob is tasty, they have the nicest garlic mayonnaise and chilli sauce. This kebab shop has 4 different meal deals that all come with chips and salad, and is always enough for two people it costs £12.50. They also have a family meal that is plentiful and costs under £25.00. The chicken poppers are a nice change from nuggets and are tasty, but nuggets are available too. There are many burgers for vegetarians, but also really nice burgers for people who eat meat and chicken. They always give a really good amount of salad.

Lovely staff. Amazing food. Really good family deals. There are a large variety of vegetarian foods such as vege kebab, vege burger,spicy bean burger, corn on the cinema, there are also lots of foods for meat eaters. The desserts are tasty especially the chocolate fudge cake.

It's a kebab house. It's local, it's cheap, the guys are always happy to chat and the food is exactly what you need after a heavy session. Heck, they've been there for years, they must be doing something right.

Worst kebab shop I've ever been to would never go to again. The chicken is completely bland, tasteless and full of gristle. I ordered a chicken wrap which fell to pieces as soon as I opened it. The staff are miserable as sin and a complete embarrassment to their profession. One star seems far too generous. Avoid!
