Really good food and ambience. Good choices for veggies. Nice and relaxed. Excellent service - and dog allowed in.

Just nipped in for a quick drink early afternoon. Even so very attentive and curtious staff. Great table service. And a very large beer garden out the back off the place. It's worth a nip in if your passing.

Toilets are awful. Seats hanging off,can't lock the doors. Alot was spent on refurbishment but they aren't keeping up with the maintenance

I liked the place, the staff were very nice, but, but, but... the pizza! The stingiest amount of vegetables I've seen on a vegetable pizza ever. I mean how much does a mushroom cost in Bingley? Our group of 12 spent £288 on lunch. You'd think they'd have wanted to keep us happy. Can someone please have a word with the chef?

12 of us went the The Potting Shed for lunch. We liked the space and the staff were really nice. I had a vegetable pizza. I've given a three star review because the topping was possibly the sparsest I've ever had, probably about a quarter of what I would expect on a vegetable pizza. Come on Potting Shed - at £14 or so a pop I think you can afford to put a few more vegetables on.

This is pub food, it doesn't pretend to be anything else, it's also pub food prices and on that basis it's excellent.

Lovely pub loved the veranda with all the tropical flowers and trees very nice

Sunday 14th July 2024 This real ale pub in Bingley today had 2 real ales on it has a large indoor and at the back an outdoor drinking area it is a young person's pub The staff are well organised and the pub as a whole is worth visiting

Went in to watch England game. Very very busy but staff coped really well and great atmosphere. Too many youngsters in ( under age) just milling around which was a pain

UPDATE JUNE24 - visited for the football and had food and drinks. Gammon & Chips and mix grill were really good. Table service spot on as always and staff friendly and helpful with the family. Thank you UPDATE MARCH24 - best nachos in town.. unreal Nice bar with decent food & drink selection. Great little garden area with different coloured sheds to relax, drink and eat. Friendly staff. Place has been transformed since Shaun and his team arrived.. grand national dat was a massive success. Had a great time. Thank you

The food was delicious. The menu had a wide variety of options and the server was polite, accommodating and made us feel very welcome.

Normally call in after my walk from Shipley, along the canal and river ,then the canal..Great staff always friendly good service.

Haven't had any food so unable to comment on that. The pub itself is very nice, inviting and friendly. It does get busy and for good reason. Lovely atmosphere, staff were great. A pleasant experience all round

We had my brothers 60th surprise party, we had to tidy up first of all, milk bottles and glasses around. We had to asking staff to put lights on, it was cold for our eldly family, we had ask for the heaters to be put on. On a good note the food was very nice, chips, pizzas were lovely. The salad looked like dregs of the day.

We had a fantastic experience at the potting shed Bingley,we accidentally booked the wrong venue for a bottomless brunch but Isabelle and sean were so so helpful and managed to sort out our problem and gave us a round of free drinks which was so kind!!my Fave place

Called in for lunch, service was fast enough as place was fairly quiet, I got the posh fish finger sandwich with a side order of skin on chips, it was at best average, soggy battered fish fingers served in burnt toast! With chips that had so .uch oil in them you could squeeze it out, vile, couldn't actually believe I was served it, could the chef and waiter not see it was burnt ! What's wrong with staff these days. We complained and absolutely nothing happened just a " oh sorry for that" not a would you like something else or you won't be charged nothing, only good thing was the lager, cold and hit the spot just as well really. Sorry potting shed won't be returning for food

My daughter held her 21st party here and I could not fault it. The staff were lovely - the Manager was extremely helpful - the food was great and the upstairs area was perfect. Thank you

Sean the Manager is rude. Zero customer service and arrogant. Thought it might just be me but has a dreadful reputation in the town.

Came yesterday for the Manchester Derby as my boyfriend is a Man U fan. Great service from the second we walked through the door to when we left especially from Andy & (can’t remember the girls name). 241 cocktails were lovely too!

Called into the Potting Shed for a bite to eat with my girlfriend and daughter. We ordered 3 starters for £15 which was great value, we had garlic mushrooms, spicy chicken strips and Halloumi Fries, the fries were to die for and they arrived within 10 mins of ordering ! For mains we had x 2 Pizzas with fries and slaw, the Pizzas were excellent and we will be returning for sure. The staff were excellent and did a fantastic job of looking after us!

Visited with friends for a pottery painting afternoon, which was reasonably price and included a cocktail- very happy! Was set up well, with helpful staff and really fun and a different way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Shoutout to Sam and Izzy from the team

Hosted my little boys 1st birthday and we had a great experience from start to finish. The booking process was straight forward, the space and staff on the day were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The food was brilliant and plenty of it! Thank you ☺️

Went along recently to the Superbowl late night event. I was worried been such a late one the night may drag but was a fantastic evening with a cracking atmosphere. Had some wings to soak up the drinks. Same time next year

We went for a bottomless brunch yesterday and had a great time, the pizza's were really good as was the service and never had to wait for the next drink. Will definitely will be back for our next brunch.

Grubby ! Think the staff must wipe every table with same cloth . Sticky , smeared , didn't really want to touch anything . Looked at a menu , then another and another all sticky covered in heavens know what . Decided not to stay because dread to think what the kitchen would be like

We went Saturday 5pm the poor girl serving was running around trying to do everything 😫 she was amazing but rushed off her feet. The food came quickly but was not great ! I had a pizza that was nearly £13 for a tiny pizza..the tables were also really sticky..the guy singing and the atmosphere was good though because it was busy ...perhaps just drink and it'll be great!

I have written a few views on the Potting shed I think at last they have got their act together I booked for 6 for a Saturday about 4pm when we gat there the table was ready for us and we were made very welcome We had food and drinks and all was spot on service was great we enjoyed ourselves and will be going again Thank You

As a regular, again the chips were shocking, why they can’t get this right? The Manager (Sean) has a bad attitude, couldn’t care less what you thought! For God sake sort basic food out.

It’s become complacent, food was poor/mediocre and very lacking for a Posh Fish Finger Sandwich , Pizza are OK, but all a bit flavourless.

Had a fantastic Christmas do here and joined in the Singo Bingo which was on that night. Great time had by all. Food was great.

Two for price of one pizza offer was good value. The high speed quiz was a laugh with really random rounds.

A live vocalist was on when we arrived but was far too loud, making conversation impossible. Food was mediocre and lukewarm, which was surprising as i have had lunch there before, and it has always been good. Scampi and Chips arrived consisting of 5 pieces of scampi, and the chips were more like scraps. We had to order extra chips, which were better. We had the table booked for 3 hours but left as soon as we had eaten. It was a really busy evening, being a Saturday so maybe they were just too busy to cater for a table of 6. All in all, it was a very disappointing evening.

If you want to lose your hearing and your voice then this is the place to be. Whether it’s the DJ or a live musician the music is so loud you will have to shout at everyone you’re with and not hear their response. The Potting Shed is trying to be a club while serving you a pizza and pretending it’s homely.

Fab atmosphere on a saturday night. Went out with some work colleagues and had a fab night. The lady doing table service was also fab. 10/10 would go again

Really lovely pub, we visited just before 4pm, it was fairly quiet and had a great vibe inside. The lunch deal was fantastic and the food was delicious. We had a chicken burger and a beef burger and both were so tasty and well made. The staff member was really friendly and overall I had a great experience. Its the first time I've visited The Potting Shed and I was not disappointed.

Called in on Sunday very quiet, attentive service, if only I had asked to look at the wine list! Asked for 2 large glasses of wine 1 x Rioja not too sure on the other one, was asked for £21.90! That’s some serious mark up! Never been charged that in a pub anywhere before for similar products. Checked the wine menu and prices were confirmed! A bit hard to swallow and perhaps why it was empty but other bars were busy. Toilets - Mens urinals stank and need looking at as if I’d of visited the toilets before or eating I’d not of stayed! Needs some caustic soda down the pipes and air freshener, or urinal mats! Scuffed paint on the doors to and from toilets, look at it from your customers eyes! Sadly due to poor value for money and other issues mentioned I’ll visit other bars in Bingley before here.

Absolutely great customer service by the whole team. Sam in particularly could not do enough for us and accomadate all our family. We have visited many times over the last 3 years and each visit is consitant. Great night, great food. Dog friendly and well worth a visit.

I can’t believe these reviews. The worst pizzas we have ever eaten! One was burnt and the other undercooked. Photo is of my raw ‘bbq’ pizza. Not cheap either so felt robbed. Unfortunately prepaid on the app so emailed to complain on 01/10/23 and still not received a reply.

Class in general and amazing place good for bottom less brunch and good drinks all round really friendly bar staff and the food was great and the astmpohe was class

My friend and I went to the potting shed on Monday for the Disney quiz and it was such a nice evening. Andy was very attentive from the moment we got there and even after he finished the quiz. The food was amazing and the lady who was working as well was lovely. Will definitely go again for another quiz night.

Popped into the Potting Shed for some lunch with my Girlfriend. We ordered the Four Cheese Pizza and the Yorkshire Burger with Blue Cheese. Both arrived in quick time and were cooked to perfection and well seasoned, we also took advantage of the £5 off deal so excellent value for money!! The staff were brilliant too, they were pleasant and attentive and checked a couple of times that everything was ok…. Would really recommend this pub, seems to run like clockwork !!

My friends and I always come in for pizzas on Tuesday, and they’re always perfect so it’s about time I shouted about them. I am unsure of the chef’s name but I have seen him wearing a Manchester United shirt when his shift finishes. An unfortunate team to support but he makes great food regardless !

Went to the Singo evening with friends, had a fantastic time, great entertainment, 2 for 1 cocktails and pizzas were also a bonus. The bar staff particularly Matt were very helpful even when the bar was extremely busy, would recommend the Singo evening.

Went for a stroll along the canal and needed a rest so dicided to stop off at the shed , what a beautiful place , the staff are always polite and freindly ,i dicided to have a pint of landlord and a pulled pork burger while my wife had a shed on the beach cocktail and a pepperoni pizza ...the pizza looked amazing and the burger was delicious would like to give a shout out to andy and evie who were absolutley brilliant !

It's a very expensive pub 5.60 a pint, and no atmosphere, no music, no coustermer, and i will not go back.

Great bar staff, always a great atmosphere, but food has changed, smaller portions (but but in hindsight it was enough without being a pig) , burger meat was cold, no flavour and plate looked bare. We thought £13.95 for a burger and chips was a bit overpriced given the above.

Spending the night in Bingley and came along this gem. Writing the review while listening to live acoustic music, pizza clay oven, offers on cocktails and the whole evening being absolutely perfect. Staff attentive and helpful . Visit you lot - you won’t regret it!
