Can't fault it, food was lovely,all served at the same time,(there was 9 people) . Reasonable price. Well worth going.

Have not been here for ages after less than impressive food a few years ago. Decent menu. I was not happy with my steak, full of fatty gristle. BUT I complained (I never do) and it was sorted immediately. Excellent customer service here, so I will go again.

Terrible place, food was served luke warm/cold and the meat on my sons mixed grill was dry and tough, this place is also very understaffed.

I have eaten here a few times now and the food has been great! until we visited yesterday, mine and my sons meal was terrible and they seemed very understaffed so I could not even complain at the time.

We arrived at the pottery 8th April 2024 at 2:30 pm it was a Monday. We didn't expect Monday to be busy. We had travelled from Treorchy.knowing it was advertised as pet freindly We had taken our small dog with us.when asked if there was any room he said no. The only area we can take dogs with the hard floor room could have been made .there was plenty of room elsewhere with tables empty left and right in the pub customer service from the young mam wasn't good .we left with our well behaved dog and drove home.very disappointed.

Was fairly busy but food was within 20 min and as usual lush staff supper helpful as I got fussy family love it

The meals here are fantastic I've visited here many times and so far have never had a bad meal the staff have always been friendly polite and accommodating the meals are of a good size portion and reasonably priced Edit. Tables where dirty an wet had to clean my own table after asking which was a god send after realising staff clean multiple tables with the same wet cloth an no cleaner. Walls had bits of food stuck on them there's now so many tables your sat in walkways people can't pass with children in buggys tables are of different hight my drinks glass had a massive crack that it was leaking all over the table

Been here several times over the last few years, arrived today at 2.15pm with my grandson so table for 2 and was told cos I didn't book no space, I travelled from merthyr. There was plenty of tables free. They obviously don't need to make money.

An absolutely brilliant place to eat. Fantastic, friendly and informative staff. Good was easy to order and served quickly, t h ere were 14 of us and good arrived for all of us to eat together. Staff member Tom was very friendly and helpful. I ordered Ceasar salad, was beautiful. My desert was apple pie, this was one of the best I've ever had. We were very pleased with our night. Great food over a hour wait think need more staff or serve food a bit quicker never waited this long before ridiculous would recomend but service very very slow

Went for my son's birthday four of us the food quite reasonable chicken was moist a choice of chips or rice with tomatoes and onions could have done with some sort of sauce .the others had steak and chips with onion rings and beef rib all came to about 48 pound .

Really disappointed, usually come here a lot. Had food tonight , booked a table for 8pm when entering the place it was very busy , the staff member who asked for our reservation told us that they were a little stressed due to a massive group coming in and bare with them wait time. The wait time wasn’t the problem , I ordered the curry ultimate plate which was meant to come with tikka masala , a tandoori skewer , rice and some sides , my partner ordered a old faithful burger and we ordered some starters. When our starters came they were ok , about 10/15 minutes later our food arrived , the staff member told us that the rice with my food would be right out so I waited for my rice whilst my partner ate his burger , unfortunately I didn’t get the rice at all and our drinks didn’t arrive. I complained to bar staff and got the drinks but got a refund of 1.99 after all that inconvenience and waiting. Very disappointed with this experience , spent a good amount money for a bad experience

Hardly any staff. The staff that were there were run off their feet. Took around 15/20mins to be seated even though we pre booked. No cutlery, When complained and asked where meal was, staff looked through me and walked off. When I finally complained after waiting nearly a hour for my meal, the rest of the party had their meals and had finished. Staff apologised and asked why didn't I say sooner, to which I replied I did and you looked through me and the other woman walked off when I spoke to her previously. Meal was then made very efficiently and I had a free drink. ( had to choose a different drink as they didn't have Guinness). Cocktails that were ordered by my party had 10 icecubes every time they ordered one so I'm guessing that this was how the staff were shown. Staff should come to the table to order when there's a large party, like 16 of us to save the confusion of ordering at the bar. So we could eat all together

Excellent customer service, food came quickly and was all hot. Not many vegetarian and vegan options but the chickpea and spinach burger was very tasty, definitely will visit again.

I was given rice with my pie instead of chips.The desert I ordered was unavailable due to one of the items being sold out so I asked for an alternative only to be told that there was no alternative!!!? I had a refund and left probably never to return. The staff were very good though.

This was the first time coming here. My boys treated me for Mother’s Day meal. The food was delicious we didn’t leave a crumb. The gammon was lovely it wasn’t salty at all as gammon can be salty but this was juicy. We throughly enjoyed our meal. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

Food was delicious today .. there was an issue with the grills today so had a limited menu .. call today before we arrived to ask if we still wanted to keep our booking .. we decided to keep the booking and I'm so glad we did .. myself and my sister both had the Italian Chicken and it was absolutely delicious .. service was fab and was checked on more than once to make sure we were both ok and to see if we needed anything .. amazing service all round

Nicely done out. We were told of a 30 minute wait when ordering our meals. It did take longer than 30 minutes although we were sat opposite the bar and only saw 8 meals leave the kitchen. Prehaps an extra chef and 1 less server is needed as it wasn't busy at the time. I ordered an 8oz rump steak upgrade to my mixed grill but was given a 5oz steak. Our servers were pleasant but did not ask how our meals were. When clearing the plates mentioned the steak and a piece of black plastic found in my meal. The was no reply or real acknowledgement. Overall good but not great.

My partner and I came here for breakfast and have to say it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. It came on a bed of fried onions on a sizzler plate which made the dish even more delicious.

Booked a table for mum's 70th birthday (her choice) for 1.30pm, we ordered at 1.50pm, food took nearly an hour to be brought out and then I think that was only because I chased it up. Food arrived and most of the chips were either luke warm or as mine were - cold. Plates were coming out together thankfully. No one came to ask how things were with the meal (we may as well have cooked it ourselves). Will never go there again.

My husband booked a table for valentines day for ourselves the service and food was great the only problem j found was that my first choice and my second choice on the menu wasn't available that was a bit disappointing as for a lot of people because it was a special occasion so I would like to recommend on future occasions to try and make sure that you have what is advertised on your menu but apart from that I enjoyed what I had .

Visited The pottery this afternoon. Plenty of parking spaces and friendly staff. Large menu choice, just a pity today many items were not available, server said they were changing the menu. The food we had was our 3rd choice, still tasty and good value for money.

Visited the Pottery this afternoon and we were welcomed by a very pleasant young man named Tom, very welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent, very tasty and piping hot. Compliments to the chef Kyle. Best meal we’ve had out for a long time. Will definitely be visiting again soon. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

We had a very pleasant lunch. Food was what you would expect in a chain pub. SEREN our waitress was really pleasant and helpful.

Arrived at 12.05 asking for a table of 6, the place was DEAD, said they are fully booked! I asked where all the people were! Basically didn't want the custom. No one in the car park either! Won't be visiting again.

Customer service was very good. Food timescale (45mins) was communicated at point of order. Food arrived a little earlier so our expectations were met positively. Food was very good and coupled with the 40% discount was excellent value for money.

Drive half hour to eat here as they say the serve till 20:45 and turned us down at 20:30 also they don’t like to answer the phone, somehow check they serving before you go

Been going hear for years+the food has allways been first class until yesterday +today. Don't know if it's a new chef but ordered medium rare stake yesterday +it came well done, should of had onions on the platter but none. Went there again today+I had a mixture of fresh ( well 1 or 2) chips+many warmed up chips, they were dry+very chew+dark, it was obvious they were warmed up. We are gutted because we loved the food untill now.

Lovely little place. Just off the main road. A bit hard to find in the dark. Came before the cinema. We ordered through the app and the food was fantastic. I had steak envy as my partner had steak. Our first two drinks didn't taste quite right and we bought another set of pints. When the server came by to clear our table he noticed them and replaced them for us with a different lager. Think his name was Tom. It was very kind of him as we didn't want to bother as sometimes it happens. Will definitely be back.

First and last experience for us. We noticed alot of people had a long wait for food. We where moments away from leaving after waiting about 45mins. No garlic bread or rump steaks which is quite shocking for a Saturday afternoon. Ordered mega mixed grill, my partner said he could cook better at home. The eggs where like rubber. Ordered 2 sirlions, one for me one for our 9 year old, both over cooked, asked for mine medium rare it was almost well done. Ate half of it took the rest home for the dog it was so dry. Our 11yr old daughter had hunters chicken and the bacon was barely cooked. She also said it was dry. Staff seemed to be all over the place. People waiting at the bar along side me, 1 staff serving and then took off leaving a few of us still stood waiting till someone else took over. Nobody comes over to see if everything is OK with the meal it was hard to grab anyone's attention so we just left. Disappointing.

Fit a family of 6 in without booking. The lady that served us was very accomadating and helpful
