It is a good little pub but over the last 20 years it's lost its identity as a pub. It use to have character and history but either it's the times of these days but it felt like just a bar and chairs. Staff are nice and the security people.

A real old fashioned pub that suited this real old fashioned guy right down to the ground. Beer is well kept but I would have liked to have seen a few more real ales.

This should be a 5 Star review. We have just returned from a long weekend at The Plume of Feathers. This is a wonderful establishment in so many ways. Lovely clean Rooms and friendly helpful staff. But what a shame. The food - 'appalling' and expensive to boot. Would recommend staying their. Just find somewhere else for your evening meal!!!!

The place and people nice. However the small glass of white wine gave me the worse indigestion I'd had for ages and I couldn't even finish it.

Great venue, friendly customers and staff, good DJ. Had a great early Saturday evening here , singing away to some great music and with with some friendly locals.

Loved it! Even for a Sunday, great atmosphere, and especially for a southerner, extremely cheap drinks! Was shocked when I paid £8.15 for one premium beer, one ale, and half a cider, would usually be between £11 to £14 where I'm from. Furthermore the music was brilliant, lots of rock and pop from the 70s and 80s playing! Fully enjoyed and worth going to if in Daventry!

There is always a great atmosphere in this pub, and the beer is rather cheap too. Sometimes the music can be really loud and it spoils conversations when you're in there with friends. You need to shout, and then you can't hear what they say. Apart from that though it is our regular pub. Quaint with low ceilings, beams and pillars.

Pokey little pub. Men only, liken to a miniature W'spoons. Not for couples.

Cosy pub that is welcoming anybody and stands up against hate and discrimination. Beers are reasonably priced. Smokers can enjoy thie pint in the rear garden.

Well it was busy as there was entertainment...very sticky bar ...big improvement as the ladies toilet was clean and nice to see a toilet check list on the wall ...the clientele were very entertaining x

Staff are friendly and professional, it's a very cosy pub, prices are good so is the beer, great little place.

My friend and myself were banned after questioning how long it took to get served. We had been stood at the bar for 10 minutes and even watched patron who entered after us get served. Kat, the woman who my friend said this too, then automatically barred him for life. Since then, she has banned multiple people who have tried to get this lifted. Her and her partner have even taken to banning anyone who writes about the issue on Facebook or here. I have contacted the brewery who own the pub and hope action is taken to return this once lovely pub back to the way it was. Since Kat and her partner have taken over, there's no atmosphere and staff are rude

Looks like a nice pub from outside, but Too many tvs showing different sports! Definitely an "old man" pub. Ale tasted weird so had a lager.

Insisted I need to show proof of disability.. Absolute discrimination from wife beaters pub.

Much improved over the last couple of years. Love the giant local map on one wall. Well kept ale at Good prices. Could do with the TV screens removed but,at least, they are not noisy. Beautiful building- possibly 15th century.

The most fantastic pub in all of the Northampton shire. Great staff, great regulars, 7 or 8 large TVs for sport, pool table, also I hear it’s the best place in Daventry for Romanian food.

Great atmosphere and great bar staff

This pub used to be great till the new landlords took over. Only one of their staff is nice. I have been bullied on fb as I pointed out to them that they didn't raise the money a friend of mine raised fora man's funeral. They have called me a mad cat lady (I have two cats) they said I don't need my scooter. Said it wasn't mine I have COPD, angina, epilepsy, two blown discs in my back. I will never step foot in any pub that bullies disabled people.
