Popped in for a Sunday roast, very disappointed, flooded in gravy , isn't it best to be able to pour on the amount you like rather than have it done for you. Veg were overdone, only two roast potatoes albeit it came with mash. Took a friend there so was very disappointed , ended up not eating it all.

Very impressed with this pub! Excellent pies, definitely live up to the title of "proper pies". Great beer selection too, recommend Round Corner Brewing's Social Club if you like stout. Child friendly too; spacious with good changing facilities. Beer garden looks good for summer and a nice walk along the canal on the doorstep. An all round fantastic pub, we will be back! P.S. I ate all the pies - IYKYK ;)

Called in here on the off chance for a Sunday lunch after finding it on a motor home stopover app and we really weren’t disappointed! It was coming up for 4pm and it had clearly been a very busy service. The bar was still very busy and after a bit of a wait we were served by a lady who we now know was Kirsty. She was so friendly and helpful despite being very busy. She explained the kitchen closes at 4pm and to order asap. We ordered straightaway. Kirsty came over to explain that as the kitchen should be closing but they’d had a few late tables drop in they were cooking a fresh batch of roast potatoes and we would be waiting about 1/2 an hour. We were quite happy with this and impressed to be kept informed. The food arrived and wow it was absolutely delicious! The mini sausages we’d added on were fabulous and so tasty, the roast beef was succulent and cooked perfectly. A huge home cooked Yorkshire pudding and lovely mash and veg with delicious gravy. I’m very observant and also work in a kitchen and I did note the kitchen staff leaving after their shift and they looked clean and well presented (this is always a big plus for me) I really cannot rate this pub high enough for friendliness and superb food and service. Well done to all the team. We will definitely be back, and at some point we look forward to a stay overnight in our motor home 👌👌

Went for Sunday lunch and it felt very underwhelming. The two roast potatoes were chewy. They had clearly been pre cooked and not heated up fully (or microwaved) the veg was very plain and barely warm. 1 Yorkshire pudding, small amount of mash and the stuffing tasted like it was a week old. Flavourless and chewy. The pork was OK but barely warm. It's a real shame as it cost £15.50

I booked The Plough Inn for the hen do I was organising. We booked the table for 15 people. Kirsty and the team were amazing! The entire hen party had nothing but positive things to say about The Plough Inn. Kirsty listened to everything we wanted, to make sure the party was personalised, wonderful, and fun. She put our party in our own room and decorated it beautifully with the decorations we provided. A very friendly service and we recieved our pre-ordered meals promptly. The staff were not fazed by having a large party in the pub! The roast was delicious and the cauliflower cheese was the group's favourite- and it was agreed some of the best cauliflower cheese we had ever had! The Plough Inn is a lovely pub, with great staff and delicious food - I would recommend everyone to go!

Really impressed with staff and service. Booked a table for Sunday lunch with my elderly father who has mobility issues and they made a note to give us a table with minimal walking. It was also very reassuring to know there was a toilet for the disabled. My father requested his veg be cooked longer than usual and the staff made a note of this and sure enough his veg had been cooked longer than mine. A lovely pub, wish it was our local. Particularly good for anyone with mobility issues.

Lovely location but very poor value on the food. Paid £5 for a very basic cheese and onion cob, nothing to accompany it, would have got far better from our local cafe. Wife and Son paid £11.50 each for what was essentially a minimalistic chicken and bacon toasted sandwich, with little filling, a few chips and a dollop of coleslaw. Extremely overpriced and have had so much better at other places for much less. Disappointed and won’t be eating there again - maybe it was the chefs day off?

The food was ridiculously lovely Staff friendly and welcoming Vibe gentle I had the curried muscles & chips because. . What?!?!... Chips were really crisp, sauce for the muscles really nice. Just enough spice to know it was there... really satisfying rich food. My wife had the gluten free fish and chips on musgy peas. She really enjoyed it. When food is served with such care, well presented, that's a great start. A really good find!

Located in the West Bridgford town centre, Bombay Delicatessen offers an excellent selection of authentic Indian food. They have a big spread of savoury snacks, Indian sweets, chocolates, and main dishes, especially vegetarian and non vegetarian curries. This place can get a bit busy over the weekends, but the staff are friendly and service very good. Overall, we loved the service and the quality of food.
