Dear Becky & Adam and all your staff. Carol and I would just like to write and say how much we enjoyed the double Birthday celebration dinner we had in the pub last night. The food as always was outstanding, and most enjoyable and all of us were served together. Your staff attended to our every need and nothing was too much trouble for them, they are a credit to your establishment. All of our guests enjoyed the food and the hospitality of your staff. Nice little pub in Maidstone. Food choices were really nice and found somthing for everyone. Food tasted and look amazing . Duck spring rolls and salt and chilly chicken really nice . Lamb burgers and curry and kids pasta all very good. Banoffee pie and chocolate brownie both good . Waiting staff really nice and friendly. My one and only criticism. Adding 12.5% service charge I feel is a little bit high for a family of 4 in a pub. . Me personally will always tip if service and food is good and would rather choose my own amount to give. I did choose not to pay the 12.5% I think my personal tip I gave on this occasion was just under 10% . But I'm more likely to tip if it's not on the bill .

Our first visit after living in the area for 3+ years, and we wish we had visited earlier, fantastic experience from start to finish, food was amazing with the best pie I've ever had and the drinks were great, the service was second to none, very happy with the price too. We will definitely be returning on a regular basis A+++++++

Ate here saturday Food was absolutely amazing, lovely quality ingredients and cooked well. They do get busy so make sure you book ahead. Good kids menu too. Kids enjoyed their meals.

Really lovely service, friendly staff and fantastic food! Lots of options and they were really detailed and great with my daughter's food allergies, greet kids menu as well as adults. Will definitely be returning.

Great food, good service. Nice pub, we went on a dull rainy day and the pub could have benefitted from a nice open fire, was a bit chilly at times. Will return in the summer.

Cosy, family-friendly pub run by a lovely team. Limited menue, but tasty grub. It's popularity, and freshly cooked food means there's a bit of a wait for your meal.

Great pub. Car park is very small and you exit to a really dodgy edge of a busy junction if that makes sense. A lovely pub though.

No decent real ale selection , just 1 beer on draught ( Doom Bar ) it's in the title .

We stumbled across this little gem, on our last visit to Kent. The food is amazing. But the customer service is something else. Me and my partner were having dinner with our friend and we had our 8 month old daughter with us. When it came to our food coming out, like clockwork, our daughter decided that she was ready to go to sleep. As my partner tried to quickly to get her asleep our food arrived. The staff came and collected my partners food and kept it hot for her until she was ready to eat it. All of the staff are very welcoming and went above and beyond in helping us to enjoy our food. This is what customer service is really about. Excellent staff who are a credit to their employer.

Went for my sons birthday and the food was amazing. Staff were very friendly. Maybe could of done with more staff but again we were happy and will definitely return

This is one of our regular places to go to eat out. It's popular so book ahead. Good vegetarian choices: 2 halloumi burgers for the price of 1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! (Meat available too)

Lovely Friday evening meal made better by great customer service. We were worried as we had a young toddler and a young dog in our party but staff were welcoming, gave us adequate room, treats for the pup and were understanding when we had some spills , puppy barks and toddler tears. This was our first visit here and definitely not our last. We tried a few items on the menus and want to try a few more.

Gorgeous place with Gorgeous staff!! Visited today another of many visits for my pre B'day dinner, I'm ceoliac so it is such a joy to feel safe to eat especially when they provide the best quality food, thank you for the gluten free roast especially the Yorkshire puds 😍😍!! The staff could not do enough for us today especially as we had to move our table so that we could have our family dog with us for dinner as she is dying, this was no problem at all for the venue and they welcomed us and our dog and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks for making this a great B'day meal for us, we can't wait to come back. 10 out of 10.

We went to the Plough for the first time last Sunday and was presently surprised the resultant area was nice and our waitress (sorry can't remember her name but she was from Newcastle) was warm and friendly and very helpful Three of us had the Sunday roast and we all agreed it was 9 /10 it was lovely my sister in law said it was the best pork she has ever had the only thing that stopped it being 10/10 was the roast potatoes we only had 2 tiny potatoes and they were not crispy But that being said it will not stop us going back I also had the crumble and that was definitely 10/10 So happy to find this lovely place

The Brazilian 7oz Minute Steak was outstanding! I'm a steak lover, normally eating rare rump, but this time I trusted the Chef and the medium steak was absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.

My wife and I went there around 5 pm on a Saturday. I actually wanted to go there to try their pork belly, but that's served on Sundays only for some reason. Anyway the food is absolutely delicious, very well cooked, I like my steak well done and it was a really thick piece. So well done to the chef for that. My wife was really happy with her fish and chips. The starters were great and came out first as they should. We were happy with our drinks. The staff seemed really good and made us feel welcome. Lovely atmosphere in the garden and the seating area is really nice and comfortable Obviously outside can't be kept perfectly spotless but a quick dusting of the cobwebs around the seating area would made it perfect. I'm still giving this pub 5 stars as the seating area was so relaxing. Next time we leave Thurrock to visit Leeds Castle we will definitely stop by again. It's a family run business aswell which is always nice. I think we spent around £130 the meal was around £90. Can't wait to go back.

Very good food and very pleasant person behind the bar. Fish and chips we're wonderful. And the tartar sauce was out of this world.... well done the plough will call again.

It's always a pleasure going to The Plough, and today was no exception. The service is always excellent, & the generous 2 for 1 burger offer was outstanding, both in cost, and quality. My "Smokey Joe" was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and the cheesy chips a naughty & delicious side. We can't wait to return!

Just had the most fantastic Sunday Roast at The Plough. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was top notch and plentiful, probably the best Sunday Roast I’ve had for a very long while. Well done and we’ll see you again soon :-)

A splendid meal with pleasant surroundings. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice people enjoyed a delicious lunch

Though the chorizo, chili garlic linguini was flavourful the extra " 4 King prawn" option for £6.00 are no more than small prawn cocktail size prawns. The waitress explained that the King prawns shrink in size after cooking them. Hmmmm? The Malbec wine was passed but the waitress was very accommodating and served us a new glass. Don't recommend sitting outside unless loud traffic noise does not bother you. To top off the experience, spent the night vomitting after returning home.

I was served with my sister and my dad by the bartender named Tia she was honestly the nicest person ever she is a real funny person she brightened up my day! I will be returning because of her she made all my anxiety go away and made me full welcomed thank you so much for hiring her it was a pleasure having a few drinks at the bar! Tia is amazingggg!!!

This was an amazing lunch here today. After segways at Leeds castle they accommodated 9 of us at short notice as we were unable to park at The Potting Shed where our original booking was. Very welcoming , amazing food. And lovely garden.

Three of us popped to the plough for a late afternoon drink. As a local, I’ve never been in The Plough before and I was pleasantly surprised. From outside or looks a little tired but inside is bright and fresh with copper tables and a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other. It has a nice patio area which I can see will be bustling in the summer.

I’d not been to the plough for years but stopped off for lunch today. Food was lovely and fresh and plenty of it. The lady serving us at the bar was also friendly and welcoming. We will be back.

Family owned pub with friendly staff, a beer garden in the front and a decent car park. Food was one of the nicest pub foods we've had in a long time.

Always love visiting this place for a cheeky neck oil and some cheesey chips, staff friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere and always something going on (quiz etc)

Attending a friends leaving do lovely pub staff really lovely

Wow simply amazing. We came for a roast and were amazed with how good it was. We wondered before why we had to reserve the roasts before but once you try them you will understand. We started with nachos, and the blue cheese buffalo chicken meatballs. 🤤 Then for mains we had Chicken Katsu Burger, Topside Roast Beef, 1/2 Roast Chicken and a Pork Belly. All we're really delicious! The place was also really friendly with really welcoming staff will so brought our dog a border collie and she found it very comfortable in there with her own little water bowl too. Will definitely come back and visit again.

Brilliant time at the quiz night last night. Staff are so friendly here and everything was perfectly organised from the food to the actual quiz. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even though we didn’t win ☺️

I have been often with different friends and the service and food have always been excellent. You also can’t beat the mid week £15 for 2 courses. Lovely staff and good atmosphere

Family meal - all enjoyed food and drinks, only dropped 5 stars to 4 as the chicken pie that I had was over cooked. However all other servings were great. Service was brilliant, Dawn could not have been more friendly or attentive. Nothing was too much trouble despite being on her own and very busy.

Our lunch visit to The Plough with my family was a very good experience indeed. We were greeted warmly and had friendly, professional attention from the staff throughout our meal. The food was lovely, and we were fortunate to visit when their burgers were 2 for 1, which was handy as that's my wife and son's go-to choice for a pub lunch! My steak and Stilton pie was great, but the vegetables and crushed potatoes alongside were outstanding (never thought I'd say veg was better than a meat pie!). All in all, a top, top lunch.

Food was good had lamb roast, was in group of 7 with 2 kids all had roast all enjoyed them. Service was OK.

We had a Christmas meal there last night 12no, and it was rather good The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly, in all it was a very good evening I would recommend to all

Lovely experience at The Plough Yesterday (26th October) Didn’t have a booking but was still seated, I opted for a burger and the grandparents chose Ham, Egg and Chips. Everything was presented well and tasted delicious. Waitress was lovely and made us feel welcomed. Definitely deserves 5 Stars.

Just moved into the area and lucky to have this pub just 20 mins walk away, had a Sunday roast (belly of pork) and it was delicious. Bar staff and waitresses very nice and helpful. Highly recommended 👌

Well a incorrect booking at a toby lead us down the road to the Plough and how glad were we. We decided to sit on the terrace in a blaze of October sunshine. We ordered the trio of meat Sunday roast. Well when it arrived all I can say is wow. Half a chicken, slabs of beef and beautiful succulent pork all dressed with a assortment of vegetables and a huge Yorkshire amazing 👏 Dessert for myself I went for the Eton mess again lovely 😍 my friend had the chocolate brownie and you could smell the richness of the chocolate from the other side of the table and she said it was absolutely lovely. The staff were friendly attentive, and sorted a doggy bag for me ( I couldn't eat all the roast) and to be honest always had a smile whenever we interacted. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return to Costa ala Langley 😊 On a end note, gorgeous tree in the car park 😊

**update,To the reply, yes I have the correct pub thank you, we were sat under the TV in bar area, you had the news on... I wonder if we had ordered food and spent more money, would we have been moved??** Stopped here on our journey for a drink, we sat at a table in the bar area. It was pretty lively for an afternoon midweek... everything was ok until we were asked to move as the table was reserved ( there were no signs to say this) what made it feel awkward was that the four ladies who had booked A TABLE (as I stated before not specifically this table as there was no reserved sign) were all standing around us as well.... I don't do very well in crowded places as it is but for all of them crowding the table, was quite uncomfortable and intimidating for me..... what should have happened is the barmaid approached us alone and asked discreetly for us to move! Have a bit of decorum!.... I guess it's a clicky pub who prefers the locals to outsiders! I can assure you now we won't be returning.

The place is lovely, clea & you can see the kitchen,the starters are good but the mains were awful the hamburgers were dry the coleslaw was terrible it tasted like just red cabbage mixed with cheap mayo, the cuscus was cold & awful. The deserts were nice but would not recommend eating here, in my opinion it is well over priced for the standard of food.

Manger was Absolutely Rude, The Burgers was dry as a biscuit, McDonald’s food is better that this. For the price of the burgers £16.00 what a waste of money. Can’t fault the starters as that was nice but overall won’t ever return. Rude manger and disgusting food menu

Came across this absolutely amazing pub. Was a real delight visiting The Plough. Staff were amazing and friendly, the food was wonderful, and the presentation was outstanding. Would highly recommend this pub.
