I went expecting great vibes and lots of fun. I got a quiet place with a slow moody vibe - I didn't get excited by what I saw. I maybe expected too much. I won't return based in current experiences.

El lugar es ahora un poco viejo y gastado. Solía ser exclusivamente para los miembros sólo pero está ahora abierto a cualquiera! hurra! No todas estas pretenciosas clubes privados de miembros?! Me gusta venir aquí por sus excelentes cócteles. También hay un DJ así que usted puede bailar también en este lugar íntimo del sótano. cócteles no son baratos pero son muy bueno! principalmente los profesionales de la multitud.

Was concerned about the quality of food when lucky chip left but the food was simply fantastic!!!! Sliders and tacos were great!

un seleccionado como uno de los mejores lugares de hamburguesas en Londres. un típico es una buena fuente, pero en este caso, se perdieron la marca. El queso azul deslizador no estaba mal, la corredera era uninventive americana y las alas de buffalo eran terribles - i fue la sensación como si mi boca había sido profanado. Ir a meatliquor si quieres una buena hamburguesa.

las tortugas aquí son pequeños bocados de con mucha carne de cielo. Elegí una hamburguesa y un bacon Cheeseburger (no recuerdo los nombres modernos que dan) y tengo que decir que la hamburguesa ordinaria ganó de calle. El bacon Cheeseburger venía con un número al azar salsas y productos alimenticios de tipo ensalada que le quitaban lejos del con mucha carne de delicias. La hamburguesa sin embargo se centró en la carne, que estaba muy bien cocinada, (brown en el exterior, una rosa en el interior), una pequeña mayo, queso y pan. perfecto. fue una alegría para comer y completamente ONU-grasienta.

Mi hermano me habían recomendado este bar por un amigo por lo que pensamos que merece la pena echar un vistazo antes de un concierto. Situado justo a la salida de Wardour Street, es fácil perderse ya la fachada tiene una estrecha puerta que conducen a una bodega donde se encuentra el bar. Nos las arreglamos para conseguir la última mesa para dos. Pedí dos mini hamburguesas vegetarianas que eran excelentes, servido con salsa chili, champiñones portobello, haloumi y wasabi mayo. La música es bastante ruidoso así que usted tiene que gritar un poco a otros para ser oído pero el personal es muy amable y el servicio es bueno. Vale la pena examinar para un bocado ligero antes de salir por la noche.

Estaba bajo presión un tiempo para encontrar un buen lugar de hamburguesas para ir a cenar cuando tuvimos mates. Encontramos este pequeño lugar de Oxford St y felizmente puedo decir que no nos decepcionó. El menú principal es básicamente 2 hamburguesas y patatas fritas por 10 libras. Antes de llegar a entusiasmado con la perspectiva de 2 hamburguesas por 10 libras, las hamburguesas que aquí se llaman "correderas", que son básicamente mini hamburguesas pero son llena de sabor increíble y unas coberturas. El generoso menú es estupendo para compartir pequeños tentempiés (palomitas pollo, mac y queso, etc) antes del plato principal viene.

Los sonidos más grande que es, era la cantidad justa de Munch para conseguir nuestras papilas gustativas entusiasmado para el próximo curso! Puedes elegir entre dos pequeñas correderas. Genial para ir a probar más de un sabor! Entre nosotros probamos la hamburguesa con queso, chappo ei y el Royale con queso! Todo fue fantástico pero como el crítico voy a decir la chappo ei era excepcional! dos sabores fuertes en allí, pero funcionan y no eran insoportables en absoluto! cócteles no eran geniales, pero nos deja que ellos porque la comida era tan darned bueno!!

The starter was really good but then it all went wrong, waited an hour for mains which were half cold, fries too salty and burgers nice but tiny (two sliders = half a normal burger). We were seated at a 'table' (more like a breakfast bar) which didn't fit everyone on so some ate off their laps. Service was good but manager was rude, apparently you do not need knives and forks to eat with? After a lot of complaining we did get some money off but never plan to go back.

Several friends and I dined at the Player Soho (a.k.a. the Slider Bar) at which Lucky Chip has taken residency. Our table was booked for 21.30, 10 people, reservation made same day morning. We had changed our mind in the afternoon as dinner at 21.30 was too late for us so we had called to cancel our reservation, only to find that there is a cancellation charge of £10 per person. We had asked politely whether they can make an exception for us, however without success, reason being that a lot of people had called to make a reservation but had been turned down as we took the last available slot. I have subsequently emailed and asked again whether they can fill the table with requests they receive and if they manage to do so, let us cancel our table without charging us the cancellation fee. I have had no response from the Player. When we arrived bang on at 21.30, the table we had reserved was not yet ready and we were placed at a table that could barely fit 8 people. This is where the logic doesn’t add up.1. They pride themselves so much that they had to charge us £10 per head if we made a cancellation but they didn’t have the reserved table ready for us. They 10 person table did not become available until much later (after 22.00).2. The 8 person table was empty so they conveniently placed us there – no one needed the table whilst we were there (until 23.00) – fine that we had to squeeze ourselves in that uncomfortable spot – but if they are not all that full they shouldn’t threaten to charge us £10 per head for cancellation.Other than the complaints, we all agreed that the pulled pork slide was amazing, as was the Royale with Cheese. Highlight, however, was the Mac n Cheese with shaved truffles on top – perfectly cooked (Mac was al dente) and the cheese definitely was not lacking! Fries were however a bit too salty.Despite poor service rating (as described above) waitress was very friendly and helpful.

A lovely basement cocktail lounge with a funky 80s retro theme, table service is available and very quick. Has a good cocktail menu at reasonable prices but the barmen are more than happy to accommodate your personal favourites. Great spot to have a few pre theatre drinks.

As a group of mates, we meet sever times a year for a drink then a meal somewhere in town. We always start our evening in soho at The Player. An underground bar with no agenda or exclusivity despite being located in the middle of the gay "village" and London's wonderful sex industry. If you blink you will miss it. The entrance is off Broadwick Street on your right off Wardour Street. There is a tiny sign above the door and a doorway leading to very steep steps downward. You will be forgiven for thinking you are entering some basement dive with the promise of some kind of naughtiness as you turn the last twist of the stairs into a dimly lit open space with a huge well stocked bar and comfortable pre set areas ready for various groups to meet, drink, graze and have a great time. You have to book and this is a place to meet a group rather than a cosy place for 2. They open at 17:30. The bar staff will come and serve your drinks and there is a "grazing" menu of goodies to eat while you drink. It is full of everything you want when you have had a couple! Chips and sausages and mustard to name two. You have to be a member to enter after 11. Drinks and cocktails are wonderful and the staff are exceptionally friendly and ensure you are always well stocked with drinks and food. Open a tab then all you have to do is to have fun with your friends and colleagues in a great atmosphere. As the evening moves on and the place fills up the atmosphere is fabulous. Enjoy

I’ve been going to the Player for several years now and never tire of the member-club feeling and wonderful cocktail offerings. They even encourage you to take a copy of the menu and try them out for yourself at home. If you go before 7 you usually have the place to yourself, gets very busy as the night goes on.
