The Pizzeria Carterton in West Oxfordshire

Been hearing great things about this place so tried for the first time. Nice pizza , lots of topping , not keen on the square chicken , tastes cheap and the bbq sauce not nice, just a thin tasteless sauce. Dough very nice though and prices reasonable, we did buy one get one half price. Will try again but probably try something different next time. Bests the other pizza places in carterton.

This pizza place is the best in Carterton. Tonight I had the magnum with curly fries - dough is so fresh - meatballs top notch. Very generous curly fries (though wish they did smaller portion too). Customer service is always perfect when letting them know if an extra topping was missed etc.

Amazing food, amazing people, 100% recommended to friends and family, service there is amazing and the best pizza in the town

I was recommended this place as the prices at branded pizzerias are extortionate. I went in as a walk-in, looked clean and face masks and social distancing was being practiced. I am a very particular person, and you know what I cannot fault the customer service, my pizza, it look great! And tasted even better piping hot! Would most define recommend!

Food never a problem.I was contacted by my credit card fraudulent team. Someone had been trying to take hundreds of pounds from my card. I have heard other people saying they too experienced this after ordering from this pizzeria. I will be calling them later.DO NOT PAY BY CARD AT THIS PIZZERIA

One Of The Cheapest Takeaways In Town Of That Style But The Food Was Horrid And The Staffs Manners Were Atrocious, Half My Order Did Not Arrive And The Rest Turned Up Cold And Tasted Reheated So I Called Them Asking For Either A Refund Or To Bring The Food That Did Not Turn Up But Instead I Was Sworn At, Yelled At And Refused To Give Me A Refund! In The End They Said “No Delivery Next Time Eh? #### Off” Then They Put The Phone Down, I Got No Refund And Decided Never To Order There Again.

Have used the Pizzeria for many years, but tonight’s meal was very disappointing: soggy pizza crust, tasteless topping, very chewy. The worst we’ve ever had.

Me and a friend ordered two pizzas for delivery and was told it would be 45/60 minutes... almost 2 hours later we still dont have out pizzas. Absolute joke

Got home @830, ordered 3 things, was eating by 9, great service by driver. Pizza was very tasty and the chips were hot and crispy.

First time ordering from The Pizzeria Carterton and it was excellent! We chose them as a friend informed me they do Gluten-Free pizzas which is a rarity in this area other than the expensive chains. They charge a similar amount to the 'normal' pizzas and they are 11" so good value for money. We ordered during the Coronavirus crisis due to me self-isolating and they happily did a non-contact delivery with a phone payment.They were very accommodating to our needs and the food was excellent and we will certainly be ordering again soon.

Honestly the worst place in Carterton you could go to. Appalling customer service, and food isn’t great either!

A nice progression from Carterton Kebab next to Peking Chef, whom after changing managers threw makeshift do-good-ing out the back with the trash.Always used to use CK before Pizzeria was built a few years back (i.e 2014-2015), then some of the staff became (at Carterton Kebab) rubbish. Just rubbish. Disorganised and bad tempered. It was probably not entirely the staff's fault, our family was treated very well by them for a long time. Then they turned sour.Anyway, on with Pizzeria. As well as getting one of millenials favourite foods gourmet style, there are tasty well made burgers, finely prepared kebabs, good fried chicken and moist sundries like salad, coke, desserts on some menus and chicken nuggets for the kids.To us Pizzeria really improves what Domino's pizza on Burford Road, and the supposedly forthcoming Pizza Hut cannot do: offer more than just pizza. After all, I actually hate pizza by now (meaning kids I secretly love it). I have eaten so much of it in my lifetime. So, the best food here has the fundamentals to do well. Needs decent service of course, but besides the "build your kebab" expected for someone like me, because I am very opinionated, they (Pizzeria) are doing Carterton dwellers a ditzy deal. In the words of Tommy from Little Britain: "do you want fries with that?"

We ordered a large number of pizzas for a party. The service was excellent and the pizzas were a huge success. I would definitely recommend

Ordered a Kebab but I got a box with meat in it, a box with salad and a very depressing tiny pita bread you can find in the supermarket. I ordered a kebab! I didn’t expect to have to make my own. And what makes a good kebab is the pita. Utterly depressing! At least make some effort!!

Late home from work so ordered food from Pizzeria, as couldn't be bothered to cook. Pizza for the kids, burger and chips for my wife and mixed kebab for myself. Food was perfectly cooked, pizzas were crispy on the base, something our local Dominoes struggles to manage! Staff always friendly and you are made to feel welcome.

Fantastic pizza, definitely go back for more in the future. hoping to get a free one after this review.

Lived in Carterton just over a year. Always use this place before others. Kebabs are massive and really tasty. Had pizza for the first time last night and it's the best I've had in ages. Staff are always nice and polite. Highly recommend.

Good value for money, different from the opposition here in Carterton, but really tasty. Staff always seem friendly. Plus they deliver, which is great as they serve a good range of foods to cater for all tastes.

This place has certainly improved since my first time at Brize Norton. I do appreciate a well-prepared Pizza. It clearly has a Turkish link given the quality. The gentlemen who work there are always friendly and efficient. çok teşekkür ederim

Si desea un bonito y barato llevar entonces estás en el lugar correcto. El rizado patatas fritas son como las que tienen en la escuela y el pan de ajo y aros de cebolla son como esperaba. Sin embargo, si después de la pizza y estás buscando un reemplazo a dominó realmente buscando en el sitio equivocado. La pizza es muy grasosa, y si no piensas comer en una sentada se torna muy plasticy cuando no es buena así refrigerado por mantener. Perfecto para después de una noche fuera, aunque! ! Pero si es de calidad que son después siento pero al dominó no contienen la grasa.

When I say "dirty" I of course mean great. A proper take away for those carb and cheese cravings when I fall off the Oxford bus with my beer jacket on

He estado aquí un par de veces y las pizzas son mejores que Dominos. Gran gusto y la selección de otros elementos así como la pizza son muy buenas. Buena relación calidad-precio y el personal es muy amable también. No he tenido problemas hasta ahora y si quieres un bonito para llevar con un montón de opciones, entonces este es tu lugar.

As someone else has already mentioned yes you can get 14" pizzas for around £10 which is definitely value for money and a less than what you'd have pay for in Dominoes and in fact most pizzarias!

Get home, excited to tuck into my kebab which I gave our regular place a miss. Oh I wish I stuck to our regulars. I'm sorry, did I ask for 'make your own kebab'. The pitta wasn't even cut open. Defiantly won't be having a kebab there again unless they learn how to make it, should of just stuck to pizza.

Good choice of pizzas, always freshly cooked, very friendly staff. Recommend the half and half. A lot cheaper than Dominos!

£10 for a 14" pizza - now thats certainly a bargain considering what you have to pay in Dominoes and you don't get quite as much pizza for that price!

Me and my husband are regulars at the Pizzeria And cannot fault. We always go and collect so can't comment on delivery service but they offer a great discount on pizzas being collected. £9.95 for a 14 " is a bargain. Had a doner kebab tonight as they have just changed their menu to include kebabs and it was very nice. Good quality food at good prices, with friendly service.

Really disappointing to be writing this. For years this was the place in my opinion to order pizza locally. However, the last two orders have not arrived in the time stated with no notification that there was a problem. (When you order they take your phone number). In one delivery food was tepid probably due to being in the van too long. On phoning, we were told that our now well over 30 mins late pizza had only just gone in the oven! Speaking to the manager got no apology and it appeared he couldn't care less. So we cancelled our order. Sorry Pizzeria you've just lost some longstanding customers. Dominos delivered in less than 20 mins and actually gave us a better quality pizza which was piping hot and very tasty!

The Pizzeria is an excellent take-away and we use it probably rather too much! We like the fact that the pizzas can be half and half - each half has different toppings, for example one half hot knight and the other half pizzeria special. The food arrives hot and tasty - but still good the next day cold for lunch! We always have our pizzas delivered so you do have to check when you order it - after about 8pm delivery can take some time but if we order before 7pm it is normally with us within 40 minutes. Excellent pizzas!
