Is it normal for your pizzas to be floppy and have soggy base? Base is white underneath not very brown, these pizzas appear under cooked. Maybe this is normal for you guys. I will delete this review if you can explain why

Prices have gone up massively this year and the quality of the food has gone down, too. They're fast, but their website is often broken or bugged, and it's just not worth the costs anymore. I felt sympathetic seeing the article about Domino's coming to Haxby and thought I would support local business instead - but honestly maybe it needs a little competition. It feels like the prices and the quality are only sustainable because it's never had to compete in the area, but it really isn't worth the price anymore.

This is best & only place to get Pizza in Haxby!! I always get the BBQ chicken when I come to visit my parents. The service is top class & the guys are so friendly. The food is always piping hot & tastes so good.

Came up on holiday and saw this place. I ordered bolognese and had it with chips. Was absolutely lush. Perfectly cooked, great portion size. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was friendly. The man was lovely and welcoming too which is always lovely to have. 10/10 will hopefully be back!

Absolutely amazing food delivered fresh, warm and fast. The staff and delivery team are super friendly too. Also, don't fade the tomato and cheese garlic bread thing, it's incredible!

The pizza was extremely salty, nearly too salty to eat. The nuggets and fries were the only redeeming factor. Prices aren’t competitive either, with a service charge for using card in 2023. Disappointing as we wanted good local competition against dominos and pizza hut. Shame. Edit: owners have responded and I appreciate that but I am still puzzled about the over saltiness of the pizza :(

This has to genuinely be the nicest place to order a pizza in York. Bases are in-between a deepan and thin and are always cooked to perfection. The sauce is absolutely insane too. I have never had a bad pizza from here. Only been living in Haxby for 1 year but already wouldn't order a pizza from elsewhere. They also have good reasonable deals too.

Got my order out quick and the staff were kind. Great atmosphere.

Had a delivery to Goosewood. Our large order turned up in half an hour nice and fresh. The pizzas were very tasty, with plenty of fresh ingredients. Mixed kebab was great. The lamb was actually lamb and tender, unlike a usual takeaway. Highly recommended, I will be ordering again! 👌

Just ordered from here and not good. The free garlic bread was cold, they forgot the sauces on my kebab and the kebab I ordered was the XL but looks like they have sent me a small. Definitely not using these again. Shocking for the price they charge

a year ago, I bought Donna kabab, the menu in the shop said Donna meat in a pitta bread with sauces and salad, when I got home it was Donna meat with a pitta bread thrown on top, I emailed you as your discription was wrong, and not what I was looking forward to, I'm still waiting for a reply, to see if youv adjusted your menu wording, I won't be back until I know I'm gonna get a proper kabab,,,,, happy email anniversary

Fantastic people, fantastic staff, will go out of their way to help customers, never had a bad takeaway, can order late and customer service is still the same, also food remains same quality has to be one of the best takeaways ever had, had a few good ones but this has to be 1 on my top 3 the management are fantastic. Lovely food, but a free bottle of pop is only Pepsi, yuck!!! More choice in that department would be better when spending so much money. Always have the cashier repeat your order otherwise things can go missing.

Absolute waste of money, can tell all food is cheap and frozen, pizza bases were like cardboard and the 'fried chicken' was dry and the skin was vile and chips were frozen. Worst takeaway we've ever had Will never order from here again, £38 and not one bit of it was nice

not from around here but drove past and saw the takeaway place. i’m really fussy regards to my pizza so i was a little hesitant at first (fussy eater!) anyways when we got back home i opened the box and smelt the delicious smell of my ham and mushroom. it was one of the best pizza i’ve ever ordered. wish you had a place where i live but i’ll definitely remember this place coming back!! definitely recommend. quick to pick up and order from!

I had the most delicious bbq pizza I've ever tasted. The flavour & quality were outstanding. I've had Dominos bbq for years which I did enjoy but The Pizza Box beats them hands down. This is the best Pizza place ever. Don't go anywhere else. The menu range is awesome too.

Visited here after an 80’s night Disco. My partner being somewhat intoxicated required nourishment in the form of pizza. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond. A credit to the community. When we got home (after a police check) and tucked into the pizza, it was delicious. Will definitely visit again. Superb pizzas 🍕

Disappointed is not the word, Ordered a mix kebab for two. It came cold the pitta bread was rock hard, It was a very tiny portion to say the least! Got a free garlic bread that was clap cold went in the bin!! Total waste of 30 quid!!!!

Best takeaway in area and delivers to Easingwold. There fried chicken is as good as KFC and there stuffed crust are simply a taste sensation. Highly recommended 5* A+

Fantastic service from start to finish! The owner was really helpful and gave me a good deal over the phone. I ordered delivery of 30 pizzas with a range of toppings for my 30th birthday party and the pizzas turned up on time, were still really warm and went down a treat. I would highly recommend The Pizza Box for occasions and large orders.
