The Pickled Crab Restaurant in Warwick

4 of us went on Friday for the 10 course Tasting Menu and have to say it was one of the best food experiences of my life. Nigel produced some stunning courses, complemented with excellent wines. Jordan looked after us very well and her explanation of each course and the wine to accompany it was perfect. If I could give the restaurant 100 stars I would. Highly recommended.

Called in here for lunch whilst working in the area. The Moroccan eggs and coffee is great. The staff are very friendly. The ingredients used are local and seasonal. Definitely recommend!

The food was exceptional, freshly cooked and great flavours. The staff and the chef were really helpful and nice. Have eaten here a few times and have always been pleased. Coming back in May with a few other family members too. Well worth a visit if you want something other than ordinary.

I was blown away by the taste and quality of the taste menu at the pickled crab restaurant. Nigel, the restaurants owner was so knowledgeable about the ingredients he sources around Warwickshire. Everything fresh and in season bought locally. Pickled cauliflower brie cheese with truffle and then the wild duck dish was so mouth watering, I can still taste it two days later. Thank you nigel, I am already looking forward to my next visit.

What can I say…just amazing. Nigel is so passionate about what he does, we’re always greeted with a warm welcome. He went above and beyond to make our night perfect & the food was sensational. Michelin star food in a relaxed chilled atmosphere, my absolute favourite restaurant in Warwickshire. There is NOWHERE like this around, an absolute gem!!!

This place truly is a rare gem. The tasting menu was out of this world! Very difficult to pick a favourite course as it was all amazing . Everything was cooked to perfection and the duck was the best I’ve ever eaten. Nigel is a genius, super friendly and he has great staff who looked after us so well. Can’t wait to return .

We have been to the Pickled Crab many times over the years and it just keeps getting better. The food is Michelin a star level it never disappoints. The atmosphere is relaxed and Nigel makes everyone feel so welcome. How you get that level of food for the price I don’t know - but if you fancy a great meal then you won’t be disappointed if you seek out this gem of a restaurant in the heart of Warwick. We will be back!!!

Stopped in Warwick overnight and found this lovely little restaurant. The food was simply stunning, every dish cooked to perfection. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, very knowledgeable on the menu. I was trying to think of another reason to go back to Warwick so that we can go again, but the pickled Crab is our reason!

How lucky to have this little gem on our doorstep! This man is a genius with food. We were lucky to get a table on New Years Eve and I think it was the best meal I have ever had. Superb quality ingredients created the most exquisite dishes. Stand out for me - the scallop canopies and the salmon. This place is fine dining at affordable prices ! Great value for money.

Had a great meal at the Pickled Crab, we can not praise this restaurant enough for the quality of food, attention to detail and first class service! Looking forward to our next visit in the new year! A real gem of a restaurant.

Delicious food in a nice setting in the heart of Warwick. Highly recommended. Nigel the chef has a wealth of experience and it really shows.

We have been wanting to go to the pickled crab for ages and we are so glad that we finally managed to get there on date night! Every course was just so delicious. My favourites were the 3 canapés and the pork taco. We love seafood and can't wait to go back and try the seafood broil. Nigel was so attentive and we got to learn about the cooking process of all the foods.

Been a diner at The Pickled Crab many times, Nigel and his team are passionate, working tirelessly to produce and serve the most amazing food mainly based around fish and seafood, yet also encompassing locally sourced seasonal meat and veg, supporting local producers and British day fishing boats. The tasting menu currently amazing, previous seafood broils, street food menus and through COVID providing outstanding fishmongers provision, with a take away element too that has continued reflecting some of the menu on special occasions and fish & chips It’s difficult to find great fish and seafood specific places, this is a firm favourite 🦀 🦞 🐟 high recommend
