Really enjoyable lunch with the family. Friendly and efficient service and the food was lovely. The club sandwich looked amazing and I was very satisfied with my hyros wrap. Will definitely be back to try the greek desserts.

First time here. Kenilworth is very blessed for food and drinks options but a greek choice is new. The place is very friendly and the greek food (didn't try anything else) is very good, authentic and the obvious choice if coming here. Coffee is okay but if coffee is your thing in Kenilworth go to Forrest, the current best local option imho. I hope this cafe adds more greek options rather than some of the non greek add ons which others can also do in Kenilworth. It's a good start and I hope the cafe develops more wintery greek food for the colder months to join the current list of salads. A welcome addition to Kenilworth, bringing something new to town. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely bright cafe, good selection of Greek dishes with vegetarian and gluten free options. The Heyras Greek salad was delicious. Good value for money and friendly service.

This is the most delicious place I have visited in a while. We were lucky enough to have some sunshine so sat outside and felt like we were on holiday. Lovely, fresh food and treats and lots of veggie options

Delicious food & coffee. I had the Spinach and Feta pie which was scrummy. I Look forward to returning to try the Baklava soon. This is under new ownership and now called My Green Station.

My Wife & I just enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at My Greek Station. Fresh blue & white decor , immaculately clean. Friendly , polite Staff. The menu had some appetising Greek items - the Haloumi Toast is top of my list for another visit . We had English Breakfast , Cheese & Ham toast plus Americano coffee & a Hazelnut hot chocolate. Everything was delicious & beautifully prepared . The sausages were superb - meaty with a quality flavour. The drinks were gorgeous . Our meals arrived quickly . This was a great start to our day`s leave from work . Browsing Google Maps last night , we found this lovely cafe , apparently recently established but already with superb reviews. We will definitely return . The Cafe was getting busy when we left so it`s good reputation is obviously expanding. What a Gem ! Thank you so much to the Staff / Owners. Highly recommended .

The Modern Kitchen has been taken over by new owners recently. The new menu is Greek based and competitively priced. Friendly staff and the food was plentiful and tasty. I gave only four stars on "atmosphere" as we were in mid week and the only customer at the time. I truly hope locals give this cafe a chance. Worth the visit for tasty food.

Really good coffee, food and cake

We were going to stay and have a cup of tea with my nephew who was visiting from Devon. We waited outside for a while because unfortunately my nephew was late so when he arrived he wanted to go somewhere else instead so we got up to leave the very rude lady came out and snapped at us saying we were liars and was just genuinely very rude! I understand it could have been inconvenient us being outside but honestly there was no one else there wanting the seats because if there was we would have moved! Needless to say we will not be going there again!

Best coffee in Kenilworth! Lovely selection of breakfast or lunch options and cakes. Great service, with seating inside and outside. Situated just by Waitrose, so convenient, but a quiet little courtyard with an excellent pre-loved shop and health shop.

Lovely little cafe with delicious lunches. We tried the chicken wrap, pakora wrap and the falafel pitta. All were fresh and tasty and very filling. Good coffee with excellent silky milk. We were in the area for an exhibition so this was a great little find.

In my opinion, the best coffee in town. Reasonably priced and great service. You don't have to wait long and in fact it's my recommendation if you want a quick coffee and don't want to wait in a queue.

Can't fault the food or drinks. Everything served was good quality as usual but just a pity neither of the two staff were wearing masks.

This cafe is on a little courtyard close to Waitrose - you can use the Waitrose car park for free while you visit. There are outdoor tables in the pretty courtyard (healthfood, clothes and charity shop around it) as well as indoor seating. Staff are always friendly. There are good breakfast rolls cooked to order - a nice naan bread, goats cheese, bacon and mango chutney special too. Cakes tend to be bought in but there is a good selection. The star here is the coffee though - easily the best in Kenilworth in my opinion.

Wonderfully bright and breezy establishment. Very clean all day breakfast. Finally found a regular haunt. Well done team. Parking at waitrose for 90 mins free makes it a perfect location.

We visit here on a regular basis and I wanted to add a review as really pleased with the friendly service they offer as well as the delicious lunches. We often visit with my nearly four year old son whom they adjust one of their dishes for and he practically begs to come here for lunch! Ingredients are all fresh and both my husband and my dad swear by the coffee. Make sure you visit!

Terrific full English, although some of the more exotic options on the menu are tempting. Best bacon IMO of all places in Kenilworth. Good service and not as expensive as some.

I offered to chauffeur my wife to Aromatics in miller court, brownie points you say however The Modern Kitchen is also in miller court and they do a fantastic egg and bacon roll well worth the trip, win win.

The Modern Kitchen is located in Miller Court off Station Road. Probably the best coffee in Kenilworth. Nice selection of well prepared food and cakes. Friendly and efficient service and good value for money. In nice weather there is seating outside in the Courtyard. Recommended.

Used trip advisor to find somewhere for breakfast today, very wet and cold day needed a nice breakfast to start the day. Reviews were excellent so off we went, very nice owners, great breakfast and service. This is a hidden little gem of a place.

Tucked away in a courtyard off the main drag, this place had a clean, bright, modern interior. Excellent service from staff that actually speak to you, well presented food and smooth tasty coffee. What more could you want? Prices are not extortionate either. Next time I will check out the toilet facilities (you can tell a great deal about a place by the state of the loos). That said, we will most definitely be back.

We’ve eaten here on a handful of occasions - and we keep coming back. The food and service are excellent. My OH loves the cheese and onion toasted sandwich (even though it’s not on the menu - it’s never too much trouble)! I would recommend you try this place.

We called into The Modern Cafe on Sunday morning for a couple of bacon rolls, I am glad to say that these were the best ever, a more than generous portion of cured back bacon, served in a really good granary roll, with butter and HP sauce, we could not find fault, really, really good food.

Great coffee, friendly and inviting service & the food selection is just fabulous. The food is always spot on - I cannot stress how good the food is (all time favourite is “The New Yorker”!).

Met up with family traveling north just before new year. very good food choice for a brunch, and reasonably priced. Clean and friendly place. Toilet a bit restricted and unsuitable for disabled users, such a pity.

we have been for lunch four times now and dropped in for coffee. The decor is simple and the food hearty and everyone can get a meal, one vegetarian, one vegan one cake fiend ,one carnivore. The coffee is excellent and we have always been welcomed without being overwhelmed. I love it here such good value all round

NOT "The Cheapest Place in Town" BUT well worth the "little bit extra". Super Service, cracking food (great coffee as well). Great outdoor seating (when the British weather allows it!) in a small courtyard away from the "Hustle and Bustle". Certainly has become our "Place of Choice" when we are "In Town"

Having moved to Kenilworth last year, we've called into the Modern Kitchen a couple of times for a hot drink and cake. Always very nice. Today, we thought we'd have an early lunch and both opted for the New Yorker sandwich. Lovely pastrami, tasty chicken (seemed to be chunks of roast chicken), gherkin, cheese and delicious coleslaw. A perfect lunch for us. Definitely worth repeating.

Nice to pop in for a cup of tea early morning. Good menu available, Staff good and welcoming. Always nice to support local businesses. Well done.

This is my favourite place for lunch in Kenilworth. Really tasty and generous sandwiches. According to my daughter the smoothies are 'the best ever' and according to my mum the coffee is the best she has ever had in a cafe.

I found this little gem via TripAdvisor and I am very glad I did.Three of us went for a late lunch;The quinoa/beetroot burgers(ish) with salad was really tastyThe quiche Lorraine was a massive slice, warmed throughThe New Yorker sandwich was packed with chicken, pastrami and gherkinAnd the salads that came along with it all were really fresh and delicious.The owners were really friendly and helpful over food (my hubby being a dairy-free eater had no mayo on the sandwich for example) and it was excellent value for money.The place itself is clean, bright and modern and we'll certainly be back when we're next in Kenilworth.

After a lapse since my last visit, I decided to see if things were still as good here. Well, yes they are! I had the chilli and it was so delicious and excellent value. It's got a nice flavour but not too spicy, which is perfect for wimpy me! It comes with cheese, sour cream and toasted pitta. A proper meal and less than £6! Bargain. My friend who is a coffee aficionado, tells me that it's the best in the area. Will definitely be back, to sample the lovely grub and friendly staff.

Bright modern and airy feel.Clean with efficient service, although busy towards the lunch time.Various customers arrived, from the very young, to the not so young, As a lone female, I was happy to dine here alone, as was another lady.I ordered a simple cappuchino which was delicious, adorned with a cute pattern on the frothy top.My snack was cheese quiche, exceedingly good, pastry short and light, filling delicate and tasty. With a side salad and on a charming heart shaped plate.Other food looked equally good, I will be back to sample the carrot cake !

You must try the New Yorker sandwich. The cracked peppercorn and a thin layer of pickles make this sandwich unique. Also the hummus was surprisingly wonderful.

Ok, so my view is to always go to independent outlets when you can. The modern is decent and offers a diverse and varied menu. Service was good too but £3 for a couple of slices of toasted pre sliced bread is a poor pricing choice. The chorizo and cheese toasted was good though. Stop ripping people with the toast.

Probably the best in town. Always fresh and consistent. Far better than the corporate brands.Highly recommend, as you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Coffee and consistently excellent. A great freshly ground and true Barista coffee. A lovely setting with friendly engaging staff willing to talk about their business with pride. I have visited twice now and on both occasions flat white was real quality and consistently perfect. Owners Nicola and Richard are great hosts, great menu and location just by the waitrose car park exit.

Popped in for a takeaway lunch and had a gorgeous chicken sandwich made to order. Great customer service will visit again to try coffee and cake!

A Café run by two gentlemen who nothing is to much trouble. As a diabetic I had porridge for breakfast instead of honey they rustled up some fruit for me. Not a big café wouldn't appeal to families caters for special diets

Found this lovely little cafe next to Waitrose. We popped in for lunch on a Saturday and I had the best BLT toasted sandwich I've ever eaten! My partner had scrambled egg & crispy bacon which he really enjoyed too. Lovely selection of fresh food and homemade cakes - so much better than the chains on Warwick Road and very reasonably priced.

When this establishment opened as a coffee shop/café situated between Waitrose and three other cafés just a short distance away I thought they would struggle to survive against the free coffee on offer at Waitrose and Costa Coffee but they offer something the others do not, great personal service and wide variety of freshly prepared offerings with all the trimmings together with coffee prepared by Michael who is a Master Barista and like Nicola and Richard really does believe in customer service So I would recommend anyone who has not visited The Modern Kitchen yet to give it a try you will not be disappointed

A very modern feel to this cafe. Excellent choice of food from breakfast to a full range of lunch time fare,sandwiches,wraps,jackets plus much more,lovely coffee and cakes.

We visited Saturday lunchtime, party of five with two giggly girls. The place is smart and clean, quirky crockery, everything nicely presented. Food is pretty much simple snacks, falafels, baked potatoes, etc. The girls had frappucini, which looked spectacular and apparently tasted great. The cappuccino also looked beautiful, with a perfect heart embossed on the crema. Only disappointment was the chilli con carne, undistinguished and underseasoned. You have to order and pay at the counter, which is a bit fiddly in such a tiny place especially when it's busy. Ostentatiously friendly service.

Always welcomed here and has to be the best coffee in Kenilworth. The personal touch from Richard, Nicola, Mickael & Charlotte just gives that little bit extra to being there. Food is good and to high quality. Place just gets so damned busy sometimes us 'regulars' just can't get in lol

Headed for the usual Costa Coffee shop greeted with a queue out the door so opted for a quick walk & found The Modern Kitchen.Located off the main road &opposite Waitrose. Part of a courtyard of shops. Friendly owners, lovely Latte & spotlessly clean. Tables cleaned and disinfected as soon as customers left tables.Didnt eat here but menu had a good variation of food etc.will visit again when back in Kenilworth & sample the food.
