The Phoenix in City of London, Westminster

Every time I’ve been to this pub I’ve had a bad experience with the staff. They always seem rude and unhelpful and I can’t work out why. The beers are always good though and the prices are high!

Good bar nice drinks had a passion fruit martini which was fantastic and would highly recommend to anyone in the area for after work drinks

The best pub/restaurant type food around in the city of london, tasty, creative and adventurous, with a modern twist,will be back.

Food was really nice ans had a camden hells on draft fast service and really nice staff burger was really nice drinks came really fast as well

Came to this pub with my girlfriend and couldn’t have been happier. Great service through out the day especially from a young lad named Tim.

Came here with my fanily for lunch, food was fantastic. I had the beef burger and an espresso martini which were both delicious. Staff were very friendly and fast with their service. Decor is nice and the place is very clean also. Will definitely be coming back!

Visited this bar to meet up with friends and watch the Rugby World Cup Final. First time in this pub, it is spacious clean and well kept. Bar staff were friendly and efficient and it didn't get overly crowded which I find a real bonus.

Rude staff and far too many. I don’t often write reviews because they are so subjective, but as a publican and Manager for some years I must write this hoping that the management company, possibly GK see this. Rude staff asking weird questions, which lead me to think he was high or drunk and another member who short changed me and when challenged just paid back with no apology. At least six staff behind the bar chatting, not customer facing and plates left on tables for at least 30 minutes - still not cleared as I left. I suggest the BDM could slash the wage bill here. This is obviously a pub that trades on I’m here so you have to use me, and I’m sure does well, but that is pure location not service

Classic pub food done well, but maybe lacking some variety in mains for warmer days. They have a wide selection of beers in draught and cask and the ones I tried all tasted fresh. The staff were great, friendly and attentive and were all too happy to let me try half their beers before I made a decision. Overall, a very well run and clean pub!

Big fan of this place, got live sport and all the big games on when you want it and always a good, lively atmosphere for such occasions. Really nice food and well looked after beer - never had a bad pint there yet. Staff are also great, friendly, polite, and efficient. Definitely worth a visit whenever to this place whenever you're in the City.

Visited here with a couple of friends to watch some football (Man City v Chelsea) and had a great time. Enjoyed a home made beef pie that had a beer with it for £10 - bargain and delicious! Staff were attentive and polite, can’t fault them. Overall a great evening! Thanks to all!

Good options for a lunch and the food comes quick and hot which is the main thing. Staff are professional and personable, have also enjoyed the occasional Tottenham game in the evening, when it's a lively night full of interesting beers.

We do come quite often for our business lunches and are always well looked after. Since they reopened we thought that would be lots of restrictions but besides the normal questions asked everywhere these days, we pretty much felt in a different time where Covid doesnt exist.Thanks and see you soon.

Popped in for drinks after work with some colleagues, it was our first as the pub we normally go to was closed. The atmosphere was safe, friendly and fun so we decided to stay for the food. The team were great and knowledgeable they explained that they had a new menu and it was designed for sharing, so we each had a few small plates and one large one. All the food was tasty especially the tacos and loaded skins.When the pubs are back open i think we'll make this our local!

Dado que era solo servicio de mesa debido a Covid, el servicio fue muy rápido. Nunca esperó más de 5 minutos. Tiene un gran ambiente y está justo en el corazón de la ciudad. Hablé un rato con la GM Kylie, que fue muy amable y me aseguré de que todos la pasaran bien. Estoy deseando volver de nuevo. ¡Sería un cracker de un lugar sin restricciones!

Post covid No estaba muy seguro de volver a los bares. Pero este bar en particular y el equipo allí me han dado una gran confianza para volver al mundo del aire libre. Sombreros del fénix. Definitivamente regresaré. Daría 6 estrellas si pudiera.

My partner and I managed to book a table for a Wednesday night. What a treat. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The pub is well set up for COVID-19 with clear screens and a one way system employed. Nice interior with with some good beers on draught and food menu.

We came across this place whilst walking down the street, searching for somewhere to have a few drinks AND decent food. All 3 of us were glad we took a chance! Very good selection of beers. Food was great (beef and vegan burgers and half chicken)The social distancing rules are there but they don't impact too much on the atmospehere, an important thing for me. You still want to be in a fun & relaxed environment when going out these days. And they deliver on that. Friendly, funny and engaging staff. Will be returning for sure!

This place was great when me and my partner visited London a couple of weeks before I gave birth, they were very accommodating and very understanding with my dietary needs, management a floor staff were ever so polite would 100% recommend and will definitely be visiting again

Fab evening, stayed all night! The bar was busy and the drinks were amazing. One thing that really impressed me was that they gave away complimentary sausage rolls and scotch eggs before closing time.
