Great pub, local to myself so walking distance, excellent gaffer Terry, always adding events to keep his customers happy and it also brings in new clientele, best pub by a long mile IMO and Jukebox and Pool Table, a rarity in the modern society, very clean and the locals are alway very welcoming and the bar staff, Ted, Annie, Liv and Sam but to name a few are a credit to the establishment xxx

Went to the pavs on friday night, great entertainment and lovely staff were serving, had a great laugh with Steph who served us drinks really made our night!!

What a fabulous establishment a rarity that you can go to a pub that has a jukebox and a pool table. Lee runs a good pub and his excellent staff, Annie, Sophie, Olivia and Harvey are a credit to the pub always friendly and welcoming along with the customers, no animosity and always happy to chat to a newcomer making all feel welcome to come back again if they want too……. Best pub in Kings Heath by far…… pop in and enjoy the ambience

Stay away. This is my local. There's nothing for you here! Seriously though. Great boozer, great beer and great staff. This review was pre-covid. The place has gone downhill rapidly since the old team left and the new manager came in.

Went there in midweek was very quiet, got the football on and the beer was sound.

Great place one of the best pubs around , staff are great, always willing to to make your stay welcomed. I would recommend you visit this pub if your in area!!!

Stood at the bar for nearly 10min no service. No bar staff at all. Discovered that the bar maid was outside on her mobile phone. Smoking. So left and went elsewhere.

Ordering at the bar and paying at the bar when its supposed to be table service and the stickers on the tables clearly state take a seat and we will come to you..did not happen so we left

Not my type of pub bit lacking in any atmosphere but I can't fault the staff. The bar lady was very friendly to us new customers and as this was our first post covid lockdown visit she explained the new pub normal rules with a smile but made sure we kept 2 them too.

Started ok ... bar staff charged different price for gin and tonic. Should have been £4 charged as specified on advertisements. £1.55 more than advertised ,card left on tables said double saphire gin and tonic £4......NOT. music was good first part of night. Various eras. Then spent over a hour listening to reggea for 2 people to dance to. Bar staff are excellent but have no clue on the deals they are doing One staff says no problem the other says its £1,40 extra Overall staff training and dj to play to majority rather than majority

Went looking forward to a game of pool with my brother, but they have an unwritten rule winner stays on, which was backed up by the landlord. Instead of playing I had to watch my brother play. No fun!

To whoever is reads this message. My name is John Carroll and l frequent the Pavilion Pub Alcester Road Kings Heath. B14. My reason for going there is that l find the people friendly also theres a good atmosphere, its lively and buzzing, there's a D.J weekends who plays music you can dance too or sometime theres Karaoka. The staff are always very pleasant and you dont have to wait more than 1 to 2 minute's to get served, and the price for your drinks are sensible and affordable. Not ripp off prices. This is down to one person named JAYNE, who over see's the running of the whole pub who also is the new gaffer / boss or licences's, JAYNE, l applaud you for turning that Pavilion pub into what it is today. Well done Johnny Carroll.

They need not to get upset with people that doesn't want ice in there drinks. Try asking first
