Lovely neighbourhood cafe with sandwiches, cakes, sausage rolls, icecream, coffee etc.

A wonderful spot for delicious meals and great service. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.

Fast service and high quality food for a decent price

La comida era buena, la bebida era mala el servicio era terrible. ¿Por qué contratar a personas sin habilidades básicas de servicio al cliente? Quieren que pidas comida en un área y bebidas en otra que esté bien que tenga sentido, sin embargo, no te molestes en tener a nadie en la sección de comida. Así que fuimos a pedir comida donde pides bebidas ya que había alguien allí, algo bastante razonable que hacer. Sin embargo, la joven en la caja, tal vez una empleada de temporada, nos miró como si fuéramos basura. Dijo que pediste comida allí, haciendo gestos como si fueras molesto. Dije que estábamos allí y no había nadie, ella no dijo nada y se necesitó uno de sus colegas para ser como oh hay alguien allí ahora. Tuvimos que volver a través de la fila de personas para encontrar el mostrador de comida y nos sentimos avergonzados, no había una palabra de disculpa por lo que había pasado o el hecho de que tampoco había nadie allí. Fuimos tratados como una plaga. Eventualmente pedimos en el área correcta y volvimos con el miembro anterior del personal para pagar por todo, no lo siento por eso de nuevo, no ella ni siquiera haría contacto visual con nosotros. Honestidad en varios momentos de esa interacción consideré simplemente irme y no darles mi dinero, pero fue un día caluroso. De todos modos la comida llegó bastante rápido y estaba bien - bien, pero la bebida, un batido, les tomó unos buenos veinte minutos para hacer y sabía como si se hubieran quedado sin leche o helado y ahora solo estaban usando agua para llenar la taza de batido. Es bastante difícil hacer un mal batido, pero hicieron precisamente eso.

Sub-average food that took them 25 mins (2 x sandwich) to make despite it being completely quiet... Bevsuse the lad who served us did and then made his own lunch and at it in front of us. We missed our bus as a result. Worst, it just totally ruined what was a lovely day. I'm used to being overcharged these days but when it's service like this this it just makes you want to never leave the house.

It is available in Didsbury park. Good place to have coffee and snacks with family.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Never ever in my life have I ever been to a place so terrible. All the tables and cutlery were dirty. 15 minutes I waited for a spoon to stir sugar in my tea which they had no white sugar and was asking me to look in boxes myself to see of they had any! 3 members of staff ignored my requests and provided the worst customer service I've ever received upon the manager coming out to tell me there are spoons there my response was after finding dirty spoons in the pot lay on top of each other why would u want any of them. He began to speak to me with an attitude involving himself in a conversation I was having with my friend about the poor service then acted suprised I then myself proceeded to have an attitude. I asked him hiw in earth they have a 5 star food hygiene rating as I've never been in such a dirty place paying 36 pound to clean up urself find sugar myself and serve myself lol I do.not recommend going here even though it is the only local cafe if you are in the park. Lucky for them or it would defo be closed down does anyone know how I report them to food standards.

Didn’t seem the cleanest, and I was given chocolate milk instead of a chocolate milkshake. It wasn’t even cold, which considering it is milk made it too unpleasant to drink. Waste of money.

I can't comment on food as I've only ever bought drinks and ice cream tubs from here but the food does look delicious! This is the only place I think I've ever been to where the staff are young but excellent at their jobs! They're all so polite and professional. There was a young lad on the till on Sunday who was so confident at what he was doing, gave eye contact, excellent customer service and just brilliant all round to he point my own 15year old pointed out how good he was at his job. A credit to the business and his parents.

Lovely park and cafe. Had a tuna melt toastie, absolutely delicious. Only down side was only one toilet which had a permanent queue

Feels like a family run business, everyone’s so friendly! Some customers were being rude and they dealt with it very well, I’m impressed I wouldn’t of kept my cool with what I saw!!

A chocolate brownie to die for, I came here for a quick drink with a friend on a Sunday and it was perfect, we still talking about the brownies today. The staff are lovely and it's a good place to sit and people watch for a few hours. On a revisit and with new management I should mention the egg or bacon sandwiches are perfect now too.

Lovely charity cafè. Great selection of food (even for vegans) and friendly caring staff. Park itself if great to walk your dog so if you're in need for a hot drink while doing so, this is the place to go!

Ordered a flat white and babyccino today. Expected something nice as they have a seemingly good machine, but the coffee was really disappointing. So much foam like it’s made out of an express machine. The price was £2.80 and the really small babyccino was £1. Not sure if this is a charity run cafe? I absolutely love the events by Didsbury Good Neighbours though.

Used to love this cafe but shocked to see how prices suddenly increased. Little children's ice lollies they get from Aldi for about 10p used to be 60p - that was fine. Suddenly £1. 70p for a banana… prices been hiked across the menu WAY above inflation. This was, until very recently, a lovely little park cafe serving the local community. The focus seems to have become making as much money as possible.

Café encantador El personal es muy acogedor. Muchos juguetes para niños. Asientos en el exterior. Tartas caseras. Se convertirá en un habitual:)

Fuimos al parque Didsbury al sol hoy con mi hija, mi yerno y dos nietos, uno de tres días. La comida aquí fue una excelente relación calidad-precio. Anti pasti fue generoso y bueno. Compartido entre nosotros. Buen café y batido de leche excelente. En un día muy ocupado, me sorprendió lo alegre y enérgico que era el personal incluso cuando regresamos para más bebidas tarde. No sentimos ninguna presión sobre nosotros para comer y seguir adelante. Ideal para familias. Parece que ofrecen el único baño en el parque que resulta en un uso excesivo, pero es agradable ver que todos fueron bienvenidos. Un verdadero recurso comunitario.

Muy familiar - cafetería en el parque de Didsbury. Buen precio tostadas y panini, servido rápidamente. Hay muchos asientos al aire libre.

This is a very popular place. Reasonable prices help especially if you compare to the coffee chains. Only niggle is how they serve. You pay and then wait and wait. On a bank holiday this was 15 to 20 mins for two coffees as stsff were busy getting food out. Getting drinks out when you pay is better and getting staff organised for such an approach would clearly offer benefits.
