The Pavilion Beefeater in North Somerset

Had a mixed grill half a chicken breast turned out to be a from a chick by the size of it, gammon was a rashor of bacon burnt to crisp hard as nails. Half tomato cooked for 3 hrs by looking at it and very soggy. Sent the cold bit off raw steak back to be medium and looks like it was microwaved and returned raw and around 25c and still raw but not wriggling . The eggs had great crispy burnt backing .. but onion rings soggy but ok and 2x sausages burnt medium n raw depends where you cut in... But 8 out of 10 for the chips. Unfortunately even Hungary Horse meals are better food. Sorry but very disappointed

Based on the buffet breakfast, not a well kept venue, dirty cups and teapots not cleaned out (one pot still had a wet tea bag in it), food put out met the requirements I guess but looked and tasted dreadful, staff were helpful but they need to have a bit more pride in the food. I took a hash brown which likely had been stored in a container contaminated with black pepper, had to spit it out . Mens toilets were needing some repair too.

Good food , great atmosphere, lots of loyalty stuff for customers

It's ok but I only went there because I stayed in the premier inn next door, I would not pick this place to go for a night out.

The food was not great quality at all. All cooked badly. So disappointed with most of the meals. Not been to a beefeater for a while and looks like it will stay that way .

Nice full English breakfast, self serve. I like the coffee machine that I can make different types of coffee with the touch of a button. Sam greats us at the front, seats us and keeps the breakfast supplies full. We have been coming for breakfast for the week and Sam remembered our names which makes us feel more welcome.

Me and my partner, just had dinner here and it was lovely the food was excellent and the staff was really friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend coming here. The only downside was me and my partner paid for the meal deal from premier Inn, so we was confused about if we had to pay anything or not.

Breakfast was overcooked and no more than warm.

The first evening we stayed we had a lovely meal each,and breakfast the next day was great. But the following evening my husbands steak was complete gristle and inedible, which to be fair we didn't have to pay for,but both our meals were served cold. Then we ordered a drink paid for it,and after 15 minutes had to go and see where it was as a lot of people who came in after us were having their drinks, the managers attitude then was very rude,and we received no apology. Breakfast the next morning ,we were surrounded by dirty tables,their were no clean mugs,no teapots,no jugs for milk,completely understaffed. All the staff except the manager on dinner service were lovely.

Very disappointed. It was like party with no host. Everything was a disaster. No plates to begin with. Then no glasses for juce and no one was there to tell us what to do.

Pleasant venue - I will come again. Good service and food.

The food was disgusting cold corn oncob frozen,had to send food back twice,missing orders,will never visit again,absolutely disgusting and to charge for it

Had breakfast with our grandchildren on Good Friday. The manager should have stayed at home as we and other customers found him very rude and had no pleasantries about him. Food was very sparse and when they did bring fresh out there were no plates or bowls to use. We have been to this restaurant many times and have never felt so let down by a service as we did on this occasion. We sincerely hope that they will improve on all matters

I was batting on how many stars to give this place . We went there today , and the service was very slow , the staff was aguing with each other ( over someone not telling the waiter staff that their is no more roast dinner as they had run out by just before 3 pm ) It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them . We were told that there was only one roast beef left but when we came to order I couldn't order the beef as it went. when we finally were shown to our table , which was just after 2pm , We were thinking ......... You're only in the middle of the afternoon, what happens if you had someone coming after 5 onwards and wanting a roast dinner? They will be disappointed to go there and to be told that there was no more roast . When we did get our meal .. It was luke warm and I've seen my son plate and was thinking were the hell is the rest of the Chips ? When you pay a lot of money over £ 16 you expect a decent amount of food on your plate. My oldest son ordered an mixed grill whiched looked over cook on it all . It was very disappointing. The staff was also very rude . I suppose, we all can't have it all . It was all very over priced for what it was and what we received.

Stayed at premier inn with meals in pavilion , not enough staff ,waited 15 mins for scrambled egg had finished breakfast before it came.Table we were seated at floor full of food when we informed the person who seated us she just said oh it will be the children that were seated there before and did absolutely nothing about it .Also it states bar open to eleven on the nights we stayed but when we called in at 10pm for a drink was told bar was shut very disappointing, usually enjoy eating here when staying.

Had a great breakfast for a friend's birthday treat all plates were cleared and bellys full for the fun day ahead. 👍. Thanks .

we visited for a family breakfast on Monday morning and the service was splendid my boy has a nut allergy which can make meals out challenging but the young lad who greeted us (george maybe) was super helpful and polite along with the lady who was filling up the juice

Lovely food, nice friendly staff.

We went during a busy lunchtime but they still managed to serve us quickly. There was plenty of space around where we sat and the table was easily accessed. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The food was very tasty and the latte was especially nice. Will come again.

Ate mothers day dinner. The food was amazing, as was the service. Never have a bad meal here.

Had steak and was cooked perfectly, service was great and the wine was excellent, flowed to well from how my head felt the next day 😂 it was Christmas. Update... Been several times since and whilst the place is a few years old, it really is welcoming, on the whole great place to visit, food is pretty damn good and the staff on the whole are good and friendly. But listen, sign up to the beefeater card and get collecting points, seriously there are some monster savings to be got, and they do on a regular basis, 30, 40% off vouchers. I love the place.

Enjoyed our meal, we normally have get togethers with friends regularly 5 to 6 moving around trying different places, twice a month,our honest opinion, been to the pavillion twice now in the last 4 weeks, small meal wasn't impressed, hungry horse better a larger, and the star, still our favourite places, saying that with the 40% great value off mains, staff excellent, nice food, lovely surroundings, would we go without the 40% no, I can't fault it , just price, we will probably visit again,if they have anymore vouchers,

Great service, great food, Kelly the waitress was very polite, as were the male members of staff, only complaint I had, was that the garlic bread starters was tasteless 😢

Was enjoying my breakfast until they put the radio on. Then all you hear is thud thud thud and darude sandstorm at 8 in the morning. I just wanted to enjoy my breakfast.

Ordered a prawn cocktail. Arrived at the table within 2 minutes ...impressive??? NO. It was thrown together. I paid £7 for THAT!!

Lovely friendly staff ,great atmosphere and great food

Fantastic night for my Birthday meal, I had the steak which was cooked beautifully my other family members had the fish and chips and lasagna, which were also fantastic, The atmosphere was lovely low lighting and people having a great time, will definitely be back to Weston’s hidden gem.

I have always been satisfied with lunches at the Pavilion.

A weekly visit is a must. Never disappointed. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Hot tastey food, lots to choose from. Good value.

This was a fantastic restaurant for dinner, with a warm and welcoming interior! This is brought out from the strong lighting and mock greenery, staff were very nice too. I had a delicious steak with peppercorn sauce accompanied by speciality triple-cooked chips, a fried egg and peas! The seating is highly relaxing and tables were kept clean, enjoyed a glass of Coke Zero as a refreshing side.

Perfectly acceptable and good service. Well maintained.

We had a Sunday roast, great value for money, The staff was friendly and helpful, Was great with our little one.

Apogies in advance however; The chips tasted drier than ghandis flip flops after he had finished the marathon des sables. The dipping sauce was flavourless and actually tasted sweeter than a type 2 diabetes sample stick. The ribs, obviously from a stickleback, were teeny tiny and would look perfectly suited in a sylvanian families setting. The sweetcorn had seen more action than a Sheffield family planning clinic and tasted drier than the Sahara itself. Apart from that, Laurence the bar man was very professional and his swiftness delivery of alcohol made a big difference. Too busy for quality this evening, driving for that quantity measure.

Food was good, unfortunately due to staff shortage had to wait over an hour for the meals, could of offered some discount due to the long delay.

Went as a party of 4 for a birthday meal today and was very impressed. Really friendly staff, food was so crispy and flavourful!

It was just before Christmas so it was a little bit empty, but they didn't have quite a lot of items on the menu, the food we did have was ok, you get a lot of it and the chips were nice and hot.

Had christmas day lunch,food was terrible most my family left all of the roast beef as was tough,dry and tasteless. Wasn't even offered our coffee and minced pies at end of meal.total waste of money

Visited sunday 22 December. Absolutely awful, sold out most of what was on the menu. What we finally ordered was mostly inedible and overpriced. The staff were clearly struggling as service was slow. Although they were trying their best. A business that is clearly on its knees.

Sat for 20 mins and no 1 came to take my order. So had order from bar when everyone else had table service. Foods mediocre.

We went for lunch to celebrate my birthday myself,my husband and my three teenage children. some of our party had the festive menu which was very nice and my twins had steak which they absolutely loved cooked exactly how they asked .It was pretty busy as people were taking advantage of 50% off main meals. service was fairly slow but meals all came at the same time nothing wrong with the orders .

Awful service. Came here for a meal and ordered a mixed grill, only to be told that they have run out of Rump Steak. I was told I could only have the mixed grill if I paid an extra £6 to upgrade to Sirloin Steak! How can a company called Beefeater run out of Rump Steak? I now understand why this company has closed so many restaurants across the country. After eating here for many years, we will not return again.

Despite lovely staff, this is the worst Sunday roast I've had for a long time. The menu promised lamb rump, cooked pink, with crispy roast potatoes. What arrived was a cremated, tiny amount of lamb, luke warm veg (almost raw cauliflower in the cauliflower cheese) and soggy roast potatoes. Friends said beef was fine (decent portion, nice flavour), but veg and potatoes were the same. Too be fair, for £14.99 there was enough actual food (apart from the lamb), but it was far from what was promised on the menu.

10oz Ribeye was cooked to perfection. Attentive staff. Clean restaurant and ample parking

Staff were great, friendly and efficient. Food was lovely and served quickly. Music wasn't over bearing and overall atmosphere was very relaxing. Overall a great place to eat.

I had breakfast here when I stayed at the adjoining Premier Inn. Warm welcome when I walked in, everything explained. Comfortable seating and enjoyable food. I would definitely come again.

Moody staff, at times, given a table for 4 at breakfast when there was 5 of us.

Appalling! Girl behind bar was lovely but restaurant could not cope and left people hungry when tables barely occupied!

Ordered the ribeye medium rare with triple cooked chips for just under 20 pounds. The steak came out medium well and looking like a cats been playing with it! I had 10 chips on my plate which were far from triple cooked and 2 fork fulls of peas! I only ate it because I was starving but will never eat here again!

Rubbish, cant get a tablet even when you book it the day before. Breakfast on Sunday doesn't happen untill 7.45am no good to me as i need to work from 7.30am

The evening we visited there had been a meltdown with the restaurant's computer system but the staff handled it brilliantly, very professional they never made a drama out of a crisis and handled it seamlessly. Sorry, I digress. As I said staff brilliant and friendly. We were stopping in the adjacent Premier Inn. The food was very good for a Beefeater, certainly when compared to anything in the surrounding areas.

My wife and her sister went to the Beefeater and had a good time . Staff very friendly will be back xx.

Been here all week for work, was look after very well, special thank you to Tom, Danielle & Emily you guys make the restaurant welcoming with your super friendly service, cannot ask for much better service than you gave, also letting me use your freezer for my ice blocks for medical reasons. Thank you so much and hopefully will be back one day.

Lovely evening sat outside in garden for our meal this evening. Very clean area to eat in . Food really enjoyable . Staff very friendly and efficient. Mention to tom and danni Would recommend.

Enjoyable meal, food good and tasty, service was good and reasonably priced.Little bit cool with the air con , but otherwise no complaints.

Disappointing. Slow service, food didn't taste that good and it was overpriced compared to the portion size.

Was seated in a very cold area of the restaurant. Waited 10 minutes before someone come to ask for a drink ordered our drinks. Another lady come over 15 mins later to take our food order she was very pleasant starter came 10mins later it says it was cheesy potato dippers which were basically cheesy chips with bacon bits rip of for £7 we had been in the restaurant already a hour before our mains even came 2 mix grills come £20 each wow absolute rip of for the money. 2 small taste less sausage medium rare steaks that were well done the smallest bit of chicken and about 10 chips Where i live you get twice as much and better quality then we got at this beefeater Almost ate all my food by the time someone come over to ask if was OK I asked where my side was to be told it wasn't put through the till I ate it because I was hungry and had drove 25mins from caravan park for it but luckily enough I don't have to go back again. Would not recommend

Had dinner and breakfast there while staying at the Premier Inn next door. Dinner was slightly better than average but breakfast was poor, barely warm and on cold plates. Only lager and cider served (no draft beer). Not one of the best Premier Inns. Only 3 floors but no lift.
