The Pavilion in Neath Port Talbot

Went for a Wednesday carvery and was surprised at how cheap it was and how lovely the food was. Beef and turkey was tender and huge selection of vegetables including roast, boiled and mash potatoes. Great service, really helpful and friendly, we'll be back for sure.

The staff not once during or after asked if our meals were edible. The icing on the cake was the staff clearly wanted to close, so were dragging tables across the floor which was so loud I couldn't hear what my friends were saying. They were then dismantling tables and again dropping the side bars. I reached out to the owners to raise my concerns and no response thus my advising people not to waste their hard earned money on poor food and service.

First time here, and I was quite surprised Sunday lunch was good, and the service was excellent. The waitresses were great, nothing too much trouble. Very reasonable prices

Fab breakfast and lovely place to sit overlooking the playing fields. Be careful to put your car registration in on the tablet at the bar as per the many notices in the car park and on the entrance. Food and staff great. Only downside was instant coffee not filter. Will return

Really disappointed, went to the Pavilion for their Wednesday offer £10 per adult as family of 4. Paid our bill £41 absolutely great. Unfortunately we will not be back. This week received parking notice for £60, and thats reduced rate. Day light robbery. Not told we needed to pay for parking when at the restaurant, not a single notice anywhere. No signs where we parked either and no visible meter. Contacted restaurant.. no reply.. very disappointing. Would have expected better customer service from NPTC Group of Colleges. Be careful guys your meal at the pavilion could cost you more than the food bill..

Went for Burger night on the Thursday had the 2 burger platter between 2 of us was lovely.

Not a nice experience!! The beef was too tough to chew, I was offered a refund but the waitress didn't come back with it, we was a party of 18 persons, most of us totally unsatisfied, would not recommend or return

Second visit today for Sunday lunch and again we weren’t disappointed. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and plenty of it . The staff made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble , they were all lovely . Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Unfortunately it wasn’t as good as we thought it would be. The place itself was lovely, nice seating, decorated nicely and great views from its restaurant. Drinks were lovely. But the food was below average. Burger was over cooked (burnt) even had black bits flaking off it. Salad was dry, not even drizzle of anything over it. However the steak deal was okay for its price. But wouldn’t rush back to dine here again. Staff were pleasant & friendly though. Who took the cremated burger away & took it off bill. Shame about the food quality really, this is why I’ve rated it only 3 stars

Awful. Went to celebrate my neice' birthday. Food took ages. Fish was a Bird's-eye job and burgers were cooked beyond reality. Good job we had good company. I felt sorry for the girls serving us constantly having to apologise for delays and poor timings. Chef forgot most of the food and it wasn't great when it eventually did arrive. Hoping for a good finish, but we were told that the chef was closing early so no deserts offered. Girls serving were young and left to do all the front of house with no support from the chef or management. Really poorly managed. Other than that it was great! 👍

Had a full English breakfast this morning. Brilliant quality and value. Freshly cooked and generous portions. Will certainly be back again and would fully recommend it.

I have been here previously for Sunday lunch and the food was great. However I recently booked a baby shower for a friend. We opted for afternoon tea and when phoning the week before for sandwhich options as I was told to do this upon booking I was not given a choice instead just presented with three sandwhich fillings with no option to change this. A week before was too late to cancel and find an alternative venue and out of our party 7 guests could not eat as they did not like what was on offer and were told they would not be able to eat from the main menu. I was also given three different prices when paying the bill as it seemed none of the staff knew what they were meant to charge! Managers attitude was not pleasant either I had a number of emails I found to be quite rude in the lead up to the party. Won't be returning!

Went here today for sunday lunch for mother's day food was amazing staff very helpful and friendly service was fast had a lovely meal would highly recommend.

We have been here on many occasions always been great but this time was dreadful! Had to wait outside for half an hour before table was available (they were really overbooked!) Sat down we didn't have starters, waited 30 minutes for dinner, ran out of various things, then waited again for dessert, 2 of our party order crumble they'd run outso ordere sticky toffee pudding for 5 of us they only had 3 my daughter and partner ordered dessert they brought my daughters but served it with cream not ice cream (she's intolerant to cream) they took it back and didn't have any more! Her partner ordered dessert they came back and said they'd run out so he ordered something else, they came back and said they didn't have that either so we paid and left, it was a total disaster and has put us off returning.

They need to decide if they are a sports venue or a restaurant l , the queue of people going to the bar centre of where people were eating was crazy ,full of kids back and fro using the toilets where tables are set leaving the doors open . The food was cold ,the meat was the dried hard bits off the end ,no cauliflower cheese deep fried roast potatoes it was the worst dinner and experience I’ve ever had .never again

Food lovely, service very much let the experience down. Over 20 minutes late getting our table ready, order messed up at least 4 times and forgot 2 desserts. Attitude of some staff members needs serious improvement.

Went on a Thursday for the steak deal, all was delicious. Staff were friendly and recommended the coconut rum with apple juice, I would buy it again!. We will definitely be back. 😁

Great Sunday lunch! £8.95 for a dinner with a choice of Beef, Turkey or a Vegetarian option, served with delicious veg and THICK gravy 😍 so good, I have been the last two Sundays! The starters and desserts are also delicious and the service is fast Would definitely recommend

Visited whilst watching Cardiff get battered by Swansea ladies 3-0 Seemed nice, post and lovely food. Our drinks were cheap enough but only instant coffee and tea which was as terrible as the liberty.

Amazing food, fantastic hospitality, followed by a fabulous singer. Can't wait to go again. They have a singer every Friday for those who are interested

I've been here for lunch the last two Sundays it is 5 star everything is perfection the staff are amazing the outside seating area beautiful so relaxing x my favourite place now will be going with friends on Friday also Have to say the lady with blonde hair behind the bar and everywhere is the best personality and hard working lady I've ever ever seen definitely hope management there appreciate what they have a diamond hard working and such a amazing personality x

Amazing takeaway afternoon tea from the Pavilion Llandarcy with an array of sandwiches, crisps and cakes which includes a scone with cream and strawberry jam. It was a nice treat for my family and I to celebrate my birthday in the safety of our own home due to the pandemic. Thank you. We will be back and I would definitely recommend you.

Was recommended to come here for Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint. You have to book as its a small place with a conservatory that looks onto sports fields which is very pleasant. I would recommend a table in the conservatory as it was nice and light and not cold as someone has suggested. Plenty of parking outside but ensure you leave your registration with the staff. Staff were very friemndly and helpful. I skipped the starters but there was plenty to choose from, and nice choice of roast meat. Beef was cooked perfectly and fell apart. It was served on a wooden board with Yorkshire puddings and croutons. Rest of roast boiled potatoes and cabbage, carrots, peas, swede was served in turines. The gravy was so thick and tasty. Would definitely recommend. Had a chocolate pudding desert to share which was also fabulous (so full could definitely not have one of my own!). Reasonably priced - think it was about £8 for 1 course.

Beautiful food and lovely staff. The only thing we’d say was it was freezing in there. Most of us kept our coats on to eat.

We visited the restaurant this afternoon. What a lovely experience. The staff are so friendly and the service was excellent. The food was delicious too. We thoroughly enjoyed. And will be back again soon.

Just went there for Sunday lunch, beautiful taste and plenty of it, only negative I would say is it could have been a little warmer. Cracking selection of dessert as well. Worth the trip.

Great place for a function. Food was great. Drinks were quickly served and the staff were very attentive!

The first and last time I will be using the Pavillion as a venue for a party/function. Manager had poor attitude and did not make my family and friends feel comfortable during the course of the night. Constantly watching what everyone was doing even though all adults were at the function. Wouldn't recommend for to hire for a function.

We were staying close by. What a great find. Very friendly staff great food and drink at very reasonable prices. Only 5 minutes walk from holiday inn express.

A lovely restaurant set in the academy. The mealy was very tasty and tasted home cooked and the gravy was delicious, will definitely return, a nice place to relax in the conservatory on a Sunday.
