Once again to the pavilion. We know what we going to get food exelent.service exelent .same concitant every time we go .staff very friendly and helpfull. The best place to eat in Wolverhampton

Have never had to say anything about the Pavilion before but on this occasion I am extremely disappointed to report anything negative. We were a party of 12 on Sunday at 1.30pm and were offered seating in the lounge as the restaurant was full but that was fine, we were expecting the same service but after 2 courses we asked if we could order our deserts be told the kitchen closed at 3!!! When our dinner plates were collected nobody said a word and it was before 3. We were celebrating a 40th birthday for a family member and to have your celebration cut short was not something you expect. I’m sorry to say the Pavilion you have let yourself down big style here I’ve never known anywhere before where your meal has been cut short! Unbelievable really

Being going here for Xmas lunch for a few years now and it never disappoints.Lunch was excellent as always, staff were attentive and friendly, Margaret goes above and beyond to ensure your happy.

As a member of the Wolverhampton Ladies Luncheon Club, we meet up once a month at The Pavilion for lunch. The manageress Margaret is a real gem. She pays attention to all her guests ensuring that they are comfortable and will accommodate any problems within her remit. Margaret runs a very tight ship. Both she and her staff are an absolute credit to the Pavilion. The food is always hot, portions are generous and tasty. The service is spot on, when dealing with a large group of people with relative ease.

Been going here many years and after the weekend feel I needed to write a review. We’ve had everything here from birthday parties, wakes and family bar meals. All of which have been fabulous. More recently I bring my little girl after school or on a weekend as a treat as she loves the little park. Food is out of this world and the value for money is the best by far locally. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Last weekend we booked a big family meal in the bar area. An elderly member of our family is sadly in poor health physically and mentally and she was rather rude to one of the staff (no excuse I know) , the staff member was still so lovely to us all and we had a delicious and plentiful meal.

Lovely , Easter Sunday dinner . Food really good and plenty . Looked after grandchildren has they are quite fussy

Lovely venue attended a bowling award ceremony it was well organised with staff and staff all friendly Drinks are OK value for money also

We have just had our 18th Christmas Day lunch at Goodyears Pavilion . Margaret and her wonderful staff made it another fabulous lunch . Me & mum came here for tribute Johnny 2 bad & 3 course meal - the meal was wonderful / nothing was too much trouble - they catered for coeliac - gluten free fantastically & Maureen was superb in checkin we were alright as were the other staff - we really We’re impressed. The act was wonderful too - really had the best night ever :(

Absolutely brilliant as always! Been coming for years. Margaret is so lovely! All her staff are amazing so polite and will go out there way to do anything for you. Food is Absolutely amazing. I love the silver service on a Sunday for special occasions and the lounge is lovely if you fancy a meal out. Couldnt recommend enough.

My family and I have been using this restaurant for many years. The team are always helpful, courteous and friendly. A special mention for Margaret, the place really wouldn't be the same without you. Always a warm welcome. Keep up the great work!

The menu is varied and has some lovely puddings. Food is reasonably priced and plentiful. We recommend the liver casserole and the pork steaks in mushroom & brandy sauce. The staff are very helpful, service is quick and the food is always excellent.

We always look forward to returning here for Christmas meals as we know the service will be great and the staff so friendly and welcoming. The food was once again excellant, both tasty and hot. It is also lovely to get silver service which so few places now seem to offer and this at no extra cost to meals at other local establishments. Know we will be returning before too long.

Just had a Christmas lunch with entertainment at The Pavilion, Stafford Road Wolverhampton. It was our first time at this venue and we were very impressed with it. The venue was clean and well presented and the staff were all very professional, efficient and polite. The food was excellent, all fresh, hot and well presented. The entertainment was the amazing Glen Leon, he was just brilliant as usual. Would definitely go back to The Pavilion as they have quite a few entertainment nights on.

Service with a smile, prompt service, great Sunday roast at a very reasonable price, all freshly cooked, would highly recommend. Great puddings too, the treacle sponge 😍 Friendly and affordable, what's not to love?

Had my wedding reception here and they couldn't do enough for us, the ladies there are amazing especially julie what a star so helpfull the food was amazing. The djs where brilliant so friendly many thanks.

We hired the restaurant for my sisters surprise babyshower, we had a hot & cold buffet supplied by The Pavilion and it was excellent value for money and plenty to go around, we have hired the restaurant on various occasions and have received outstanding service and catering and look forward to my parents retirement meal in Nov. Thank you for a first class service.

Food is of a high standard, traditional English dishes, small menu but a choice to appeal to most. Puddings to die for, staff very friendly especially Margaret.

This was for the funeral wake of a family member,the food was simply good and varied, unusual mixture of hot n cold,the bar prices were very fair.

It has been many months since I last visited this nomally excellent restaurant.

This is only the second time we have been here for a meal. The first time my husband and I brought my parents for Mothers day lunch. It was in the ballroom which was decorated beautifully. It was a three course meal that was served pretty quickly and the staff were all helpful and friendly. The food was lovely and tasted home cooked rather than the roast dinners some pubs serve up. My mother was able to select a free gift on her way out

Meals in the lounge were very reasonably priced though selection a little limited. Quality of the food and portion sizes were both good

Good value for money ,nothing special ,if you just want a basic meal then this is the place, cheap beer is a bonus

Went today for a celebration Sunday lunch, always good food staff are friendly and deliver food silver service style and quickly, Margaret is a lovely lady always making sure you have everything you need, have lost count of times we have been for lunch and in the past Xmas lunches, had roast leg of lamb today which was delicious.

On the 13th December The Pavilion at Goodyear's fed 70 people to a beautiful xmas meal the staff lead by Margaret served us with a smile on their faces, nothing was too much trouble for them. Each course was delivered quickly onto warm plates. We have been going to them for our xmas meal for a good many years and hope to go for many more.

We very often go for lunch and we have never been disappointed.We went this lunchtime the meal was fantastic,it is easily the best food i have ever had cannot fault it.

Our friends held their engagement here last night.

I have never had a bad meal at the Pavilion so decided to have lunch on Wednesday the 3rd October. The dining room was reasonably busy with some 60 covers. I decided to have my normal starter of Prawn Cocktail, a modern version of the 60's dish which was even better than my last visit some time ago, with a plethora of shrimps, crisp fresh salad, a tasty creamy sauce and fresh buttered sliced brown bread. My main dish was taken from the specials board and was 3 loin lamb chops with chips, peas and carrots. I like my lamb pink but these came so well cooked that they fell off the bone. They were soft and well minted with a quite thick tasty meat sauce and it was soon disposed of. I am not a sweet eater but decided to have one from their board of 5 desserts, which was a raspberry sparkle cheesecake with a raspberry jus and was the last slice they had and it was excellent. The full 3-course meal with a pint of an excellent Cobblers guest ale (best beer I have had there) gave me change out of £20 and was a total bargain. Service was exemplary and I heartily recommend this restaurant.

Good choice on menu. Very tasty. Silver service. Good portions. Nice selection of desserts & if you can't manage your dessert, you can take it home. Lovely staff & excellent value for money.

If you want piping hot food served on warm plates then this is the place to come. A group of friends came just for food - we have been before for christmas shows and food but this is the first time we have just sat in the bar area and had food. Two of us ate from the menu and three from the specials board - all of the food was lovely, well cooked, well presented - served piping hot and quickly. Nothing to fault and lots of empty plates. Just have to remember to collect your knives and forks and sauces from the bar before your food comes out, but if that is the only fault then nothing to complain about reallly.

Excellent. Margaret and her staff.for are brilliant. The atmosphere is fantastic experience service Excellent.

I attended a Robbie Williams tribute night with three course meal, the food was excellent piping hot and delicious. Staff were friendly efficient hard working. Can't fault anything we had a fantastic time. Entertainment top notch great disco all air conditioned too. Well done to you all.

Had a Thursday lunch in the Pavilion having been once before and found it impressive except for the steak. I sat outside to eat (the only person to do so on the hottest day of the year). Had a start of prawn cocktail £3.50 that took me back to the 1960' with a heap of cold water shrimp in a Marie Rose sauce, excellent buttered brown bread and a fresh salad - really good.

Hen party of 23 booked and paid for meal and Elvis tribute night. Telephone call 4 hrs before cancelling as singer ill. Suggested meal to continue and dj as people had travelled they advised they would be shut and were cancelling the night.

Easter Sunday lunch excellent meal food was very good man size portions .silver service waiting staff all friendly and very smart nothing to much trouble. Good choice of starter main course and sweet.we go every week for lunch time meal good work to the staff

Excellent night again! Soul kinda wonderful were a great act and had the dance floor full from the minute they were on until they came off supported by amazing DJ’s too who also played all the crowd pleasers to make a great night! The food was fresh, tasty and well cooked. I’ve always had a great night out here and can’t wait until the next one.

We have just left from having a amazing 3 course meal for mothers day all courses served promptly all piping hot.. room decorated lovely.. staff polite and helpfully.. the lady in charge was very kind and geuninally cared about us guest and a lively little gift at the end makes it that much special will defiantly be back in the near further... thanks for a perfect mothers day x

First time at the Pavilion,The occasion was my birthday for Sunday lunch we arrived early as we hadn't been there before,we were greeted at the door by a lady named Margaret who was the manager as we found out later.We were shown to our table and given a menu.My wife had beef and i chose lamb at which my wife said that's unusual for you to have lamb,still it's your birthday you can have what you want.The meal arrived with all the trimmings veg ect.The food was excellent,the best Sunday lunch i have ever had.As we where ready to go Margaret and all the waiters came to our table and said lady's and gentlemen we have a couple here today it's the first time they have been here and it's Jim's birthday would you all sing happy birthday there was about 60 people in the restaurant and they all sang happy birthday.

Execellent meals with a good menu choice. The dining area is clean with plenty space brtween the tables. The staff were all pleasant with a smile giving a professional servce at the table. We have been here before and the menu as changed but till a good vsried choice. The meals and brinjs are very reasonably priced snd if you have a loyalty card you get a reduction. We would definitely go again.

We have been going to the pavilion for the past 20 years and have never had a bad meal we have had Xmas lunches, Sunday lunch and a wedding there and it has always been good. If you have any complaints you only have to...

Good food, service and bar drinks. Affordable prices with plenty of space to park the cars. Will come back.

We had pre booked our lunch at the pavilion so it was of no surprise to them there were two of us vegans. We had been given the choice of two meals. Stuffed pepper or vegetable curry as our main. Despite we would have preferred something more Christmasy as offered to the rest of the party we both asked for curry. Our starter was mushrooms in a sauce which as just ok. The main meal was not good at all. We ate it as we were hungry and didn't want to spoil things for everyone else but the curry had no flavour and indeed did not taste like curry at all. The dessert was a chocolate fudge cake ok for vegans which was nice, but no vegan cream or vegan ice cream to go with our desserts. Our meals cost the same as everyone else's yet it was not to the standard of those having a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Such a let down.

My in laws lunch here quite a lot and we were invited for Sunday lunch to celebrate my sister in laws birthday. Choices for main course are beef, lamb, chicken or vegetable lasagne. First disappointment no beef it had been replaced with turkey for the festive season. Without wishing to state the obvious chicken and turkey are both fowl would it not have made more sense to take the chicken off and keep the beef? So I had to settle for chicken as I like neither lamb or turkey. I was presented with my meal fully plated with a very dry over cooked chicken breast which I struggled to eat leaving some on my plate and I never leave meat on my meals. The rest was at various temperatures depending on which had been microwaved last. The lamb was obviously microwave in the bag stuff as they were all equal slices. After the disappointment of the main some of our party decided to have pudding, it turned out that there was only 3 of the 6 choices available one of the unavailable being ice cream “really”!! We also asked for extra gravy which never materialised.

We decided to go for a meal to somewhere we had not been for more than 2 years . The 3 of us all ordered different meals. My meal was awful the Salmon was tasteless and texture was that of a boil in the bag meal. We have been going there since it opened and were regular customers including 2 big party events including a Xmas booking each year. No one came to see how our meal was so I left the Salmon and just ate the wedges and vegetables. When the waitress came to clear plates I told her it was awful and she replied I will tell them. We had no response and was charged the full amount with NO apologies. So disappointed. Wanted to book for Christmas but not now. Very disappointed..

Until a few weeks ago I had never heard of the Pavilion but it was recommended to me by a friend as a suitable venue to have a meal with family and friends to celebrate my wife and I having been married for 50 years. 19 of us turned up on Sunday for lunch, we had pre-booked and the table was ready laid for us. We were greeted on the front door by a most pleasant man who directed us to the restaurant. There are no air's and graces to this place but the food was excellent, good wholesome piping hot food cooked to perfection, a good choice of starters, mains and a sweet trolley to die for. The food was served on hot plates by a team of pleasant waiters and waitresses for whom nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked into the premises to the minute we left. If you are looking for good basic wholesome food then this is the place for you and I advise you don't eat to much before you go as the portions are on the generous side. The three course Sunday lunch we had was well worth the £14.95 a head we paid and they will undoubtedly see us again. Congratulations to all of you, you were all excellent as was your food and service.

Sunday lunch is such good value, fresh vegetables and lovely sweets. Staff are very good and Margaret is so nice been there years welcomes you like family,will be there again soon. Food in the bar is very good as well.

We held our wedding reception here on 16.9.2017. From the very first day we met Julie and Margaret, we received first class service. They provided the most memorable, amazing day for us that we shall never forget. Their total dedication and professionalism is 2nd to none. The room decor, food and atmosphere was all exceptional. Everything went like clock work due to their commitment. We had a lovely day, not just us but also our wedding guests too. The team work was amazing with the staff smiling and being so friendly whilst they served us day and night, they were all troopers. Our carvery lunch was to die for and the evening buffet was so tasty, fresh and plentiful. Goodyears deserve an award of excellence - use this place!

The service was so professional, friendly and helpful and can only be described as exemplary. The food was delicious, piping hot and very, very tasty. The table was decorated beautifully, the room, the bar and toilets were immaculate. A very enjoyable afternoon delivered from a professional team.

Must admit food was pretty good , even though it was a standard meal . Very friendly well trained staff and nothing to much trouble .. clean, tasty food , great service , and reasonable prices . Will use again .

Visited here for a friends birthday. The table had been reserved and arrangements had been set up on them prior to attending. Once the whole group were seated food orders were swiftly taken. Although the menu choice could of been a little more varied there was something on there to suit all tastes and a specials board to add extra options. I opted for the surf and turf. This arrived along with all the other food within a reasonable time and was piping hot and tasty. A lemon meringue dessert ended the meal which was also very tasty.The staff were polite and friendly and very accommodating with requests made. Having never been here before I would recommend a visit here.

Had a nice Sunday Lunch at the Pavilion. Starter was a rather tasty and generous Prawn Cocktail. The main was lamb with all the trimmings. Sadly did not have time for pudding but those on the trolley they were bringing out for the other diners looked very yummy.Would highly recommend, especially for an extended family gathering..

Cannot understand how we have not visited the Pavillion before today. Booked it by chance.Jean and I did not know what to expect when we parked up because the place is quite understated from the outside.We were greeted with a warm, sincere and genuine welcome, shown to our table and pleasantly surprised as our food and drinks orders were taken at the table after a few minutes. Our very charming hostess explained the menu and the choices of 3 courses for £14.95 . Her cheery demeanor was so relaxing....3 courses ......we don't normally do.... felt so at home when she said ..... you can take your dessert home if you want to.Although there was 2 or 3 parties going on we did not have to wait for our starters.....duck rolls for me and prawns for Jean.......forgot to say....good choice on the menu..simple but appetising.Mains .....Jean had lamb....me ...topside of beef.I don't know what the roasted potatoes were cooked in .....but.......their aroma when brought to the table was superb.....their taste?..... fabulous...should have had loads more....Vegatables were plentiful, fresh and piping hot as the waiters served us.The service we received and the attention we were afforded made us feel like we had been regulars for years....We chose to wait for desserts for awhile .... although everyone was busy with the parties we were not forgotten.The desserts were gorgeous from the trolley....... guilty indulgence?....no!We felt so at home here... and I would like to say that all in all after our experience today, we both considered this to be the best dining out Sunday lunch we have had for many many years.Thank you to all at the Pavillion......we will definitely come again.Richyp

The exterior doesn't do this place justice. It's warm and friendly as soon as you step over the threshold! We had a few drinks in the spacious bar area then a sit down 3 course Sunday dinner. There were lots of options on both the adults and kids menus and all the good served was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fresh vegetables being served to the table. The service was great too - very friendly and accommodating. The dessert trolley was a real highlight! I would definitely recommend - great portion sizes and excellent value for money. We couldn't eat a single thing the rest of the day!

Our first visit to the Pavilion and it will NOT be our last. We were made to feel very welcome. Comfortable seating in a very pleasant lounge.We had a very good lunch of hand battered cod and zesty poached salmon. The portions were very generous but we had to have a pudding and we are so glad that we did . They were yummy.We hope to return very soon as there are so many things on the menu that we want to try and they are all so very reasonably priced. Thank You

Table for 5 people on Sunday 15 January. First visit for 3 of us.Very pleasant dining room--light and airy and plenty of space between tables. We were welcomed to our table and given time to order drinks and examine menu. Plenty of choice for each of 3 courses. The staff were helpful and well supervised by the manageress. We were given ample time between courses and the cost of £14.75 was excellent value for money. Very friendly atmosphere helped by several renditions of "Happy Birthday" songs.Overall somewhere I would highly recommend for a Sunday Lunch.

We visited last week with the immediate family to celebrate my brother in laws 40th birthday party. When we walked in the door we were welcomed by a gang of screaming kids ( my idea of hell) There were also 3 larger groups celebrating birthdays. The two table next to us were very large groups , approx 40 people, both celebrating 60th birthdays. Unfortunately the one table couldn't control their children. We found them climbing under our table and running from one end of the restaurant to the other. It was a nightmare.The waitress was fantastic, she tried her very best to get the kids to sit down and behave ( not that the parents noticed) We asked to move next door to finish our food, as it was unbearable. The waitress managed to sort us out and moved us to a nice quiet area next door for coffee. One of the other groups did the same, complaining about the same thing as us. I know this is no reflection on the restaurant but really spoilt our night. The food was great, it was so tasty and I would highly recommend it. It's great value for money. We ate of the 3 course special menu. The desserts were delicious, the choice was amazing and the portions were huge. It's such a shame that such a great food experience was ruined by people who couldn't control their children.The waitress was superb. She tried her very best to calm the children down, stop them screaming and running around the restaurant and under the tables but the parents clearly didnt care. We will definable go back, the food was brilliant, great value and the staff were great. I feel bad giving them 4* as the food and the staff were so good but we wanted a nice, relaxing night and we didn't get that. Hopefully next time, I will be able to give them the 5* that they deserve

We have been here quite a few times. The food is exceptionally good the service is first class without being overbearing. We have tried others but we always come back we can find nowhere that does it better!We love The Pavillion!!

This place is perfection there was a large group of us and 1 side of the family had already ordered and the other side was ordering however food was served quickly, professionally and to a high standard. It was such a busy day for the team and I thank all team members for their hard work.

Entertainment is outstanding here. Great mixture of artists over several nights along with delicious 3 course meals at super prices. The food was super and the dj's kept us on the dancefloor to the end of the night. Thoroughly recommend attending here. All year round too.

Hello we run Sunday afternoon Dinner Dances with a Dance to live music provided by myself and run by my wife and very successful events we find that the food is very good we don't have any problems as we put seating plans and menu holders so people know what they have ordered (i.e. So they shouldn't be able to change there minds at the last minute ) Goodyears Years give a very professional service with Margaret at the helm doing A great job under pressure. Well done chef, staff & management. Keep up the good work.

We had a great night on Saturday the 3rd Dec great DJs kept us dancing all night. Would definitely go again. Looking at New Year as DJs will be dousing it all again.

Came here Saturday night for a Christmas party! Loved the entertainment and DJ, who kept us dancing all night! Staff were attentive and we enjoyed the evening.

Went for works Xmas party we thought we would see a comedian and have a good laugh, food was OK nothing to shout about 99% of the staff were very friendly and helpful considering the woman who we booked with was a very rude lady should have known then really, we settled down for a comedian to get a man dressed as rod Stewart /Tina Turner it was a joke! It was like they had pulled the local drunk to entertain us in the hope we were to drunk to notice!!! Our night was spoilt needless to say we got no notice Jed would not be there not even sorry, our party left early so thanks pavilion for ruining our works Xmas do!!!!

After hearing rave reviews about the Pavilion from friends I was really looking forward to our staff Christmas meal with entertainment. The only plus point, if you could eat it, the portions were large. The starter was uninspiring prawns and melon, followed by one of the worst party Christmas meals ever. The vegetables were mush, roast potatoes like bullets, the sausages wrapped in bacon undercooked and turkey very dry. The pudding was a large stodgy portion of passion fruit tart. Then the Coffee was cold! Nice mint though!! This was then followed by the most awful Michael Buble tribute act ever, really out of tune. Not a night to inspire my return.

Just back from a very nice Sunday lunch at The Pavilion in Wolverhampton. This is turning into our favourite place for lunch as the service and food is top class time after time the mark of a good restaurant. Today we took a party of 40 people and all had a great meal.

Been here a few times now and have always had a great time, always been for tribute evening couple times were for Xmas party nights. The food and service always excellent, the tribute acts great and the disco after very good value for money. I thoroughly recommend. The pavilion for a night out. You do need to book early though. Am looking forward to next night at Xmas

Were taken here for lunch by friends we were visiting and found the food to be excellent. We thought the quality for the price was amazing. The Staff were lovely and the service was first class. We live in Derbyshire, but would certainly make the journey again to revisit.

Took my family here tonight for a family treat as our daughter has worked hard on her SATS. Martin and the team have worked as the lounge was busy and the food kept coming out of the kitchen. The price for our meals where good and for what the kids get for a £1 (between 5-6pm) is really good. The kids like it here as there is an outdoor play area for them. There was a good range of beers on tonight including real ale and fair price. I would and do recommend the pavilion.

THURSDAY 28th APRIL 2016 you organised the buffet for the people who attended my mom's funeral at Bushbury Crematorium.THANK YOU!Everything was spot on - the area you reserved for us and the buffet selection were excellent. Without being too attentive, the staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Booked a Mothers day meal for a party of 16 plus 2 toddlers. Room was very nicely decorated and a gift for every mum. One of our mums was in a wheelchair and staff were attentive and very helpful, making sure we could get access for her, in and out. Meal was served Silver Service and was prompt and obviously well thought out, meaning no-one was left waiting for food whilst others went cold. Two toddlers were served typical childrens meals on request. Overall staff were friendly and the day was enjoyed by all. Thank you Ladies for giving up your Mothers Day to make ours so enjoyable. Will definitely be back.

I've visited here many times for birthday meals and service and food was excellent. Unfortunately this time is was appalling from start to end. The waitresses were rude and were more interested in chatting to each other. My starter was good but my main a rump steak with chips was awful, I asked for medium rare but it was burnt on one part then raw on the other. We were told as so little of our party of 14 had dessert we couldn't eat the birthday cake there but we could cut the cake and share it out and take it home to eat!! They gave us a rusty steak knife to cut it with so obviously we complained so they cut it up for us. Meanwhile one of us that had ordered a dessert waited and waited ... It never turned up, waitress was unapologetic. It just felt like they just wanted us to hurry up and go. All in all it was a nightmare

Reserved a table for a meal out for my mothers birthday, never eaten here before and never again. We ate around 7:30pm on a Thursday evening in the Lounge. Out of the five of us dining actually only two said there meal was ok/nice..... I asked for my steak to be medium to well done basically it was burnt and I was chewing forever it even came out 10 minutes after everyone else's and with chips and I personally asked for a jacket potato at the self service counter where I had to collect the non-Heinz condiments myself, I only ate a quarter of my meal then gave up even the rock hard crispy chicken baguette and raw smelling apple sponge was also left by my fellow diners.... Poor food and cheap but like they say you get what you pay for... Shocking!

The food here iin the pavilion lounge s great value for money, always fresh and piping hot.well worth a visit, there is also a silver service restaurant for special occasions.

Never had a bad meal there. All decent prices. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Entertainment is also of a good standard

I have eaten here a few times both in the restaurant and the main function room. I have never had a bad meal, the food has always been great even when serving large numbers.I recently saw the Jersey Guys and Oh What a Night, they were superb! A fantastic tribute act. I would recommend anyone to see these. The Christmas meal was lovely, I had the filled potatoe skins, Turkey dinner ( really moist turkey) and the Raspberry Blondie dessert which was like a cheesecake. It was a nice touch to have self service coffee and mince pies after the meal. All the other food is served to you though and it's one of the few places till silver serving the main course which is nice. There were plenty of staff too so you did not have to wait for your food. The drinks here are also well priced so a great value evening . A night to remember.

It's that time of year again. Christmas. Just been out for my first festive meal and was not disappointed. This is a regular fixture and every year it maintains its standards. The staff are very friendly and its lovely to have silver service as opposed to everything arriving on your plate. It's really good value and great to have coffee and mint and small mince pie all included in the meal. The range of food on the menu compares well with that offered in other establishments. Look forward to returning.

Been here twice in the last three weeks, the food is of excellent quality well cooked and presented. The prices are surprisingly low for this standard, the drinks are also low priced compared to other eateries in the area. The place is clean and the staff are polite and friendly.

The Pavilion is not the obvious choice if you are going to eat out, we visit yearly for our annual party, The Pavilion is so much more though, turned away from our regular place recently as they has ran out of food? I racked my brains for somewhere else to go and remembered this place. What a cracking meal we had for not an expensive price, why do I come only once a year...I have no idea but I will remedy that.

I did read their internet page before joining my family for a celebratory meal & concerns were raised when reading that they offered a three course meal for only £13.95 ? The words ' Finest Cuisine, Continental, Silver Service & Classic Beef Lasagne' were mentioned either on their web page or during the night. I enjoy eating out in various establishments & have a varied palate, however, this must be the worst experience ever. I will clarify, when has Prawn Cocktail been served on a plate ? Brown bread & butter placed on top of the salad ? Classic Lasagne, where was the flavour ? No flavour ! Lasagne has a tomato sauce including Garlic, thyme, béchamel sauce & seasoning. Their version was a huge portion of minced beef layered between pasta sheets with grilled cheese on top. Had the chef/cook any idea or any experience of cooking a 'Classic Lasagne' ? I refused to eat the tasteless stodge. Do you remember the 70's, when the menu Classic was 'Prawn Cocktail ( served in a glass ) 'Steak & Chips' followed by 'Black Forest Gateau'. This menu clearly has not progressed from that era & the chef/cook needs to practice continental flavours ! Staff were very pleasant & I enjoyed the company of my family, however, Pavilion, try to up your game with a thought for finesse & flavour, which doesn't cost any more, but would give your customers an even better experience.

I have lived in wolverhampton for a very long time and yesterday was the first time i managed to eat here. Excellent food and great warm service. Cannot recommend enough. Make sure you visit....tip:the Salmon was excellent!

The food is lovely, plenty on the plate and good price. Good range of beers including a cask ale. Large play area out side for the kids with seating area for grown ups to join them. You can become a member to get great discounts but the doors are open to everyone to enjoy a meal. A really good place to visit and has a restaurant to enjoy that special meals at weekends.

Went here for a family meal to celebrate a special birthday. There were 41 of us. We ate in the restaurant, all ordering 3 course meals, making choices on the night. Great value for money at £12.95 each. The service was impeccable with no one having to wait too long to start dinner because of the swift service and organisation of the staff. Bar staff were more than helpful and sought drinks from other bar for us too! Would highly recommend!

We had an excellent evening out at the recent cabaret night (Frankie Valli Tribute - Duncan Heather). As usual food service was fantastic.

Have been going here for years, but not recently. Went with a friend in the week hoping to get a meal but we were turned away. Apparently food isn't always served in the week. In the past we have had some cracking food and good entertainment. Had to go elsewhere. Felt a bit of a fool really as I was saying how good the Pavillion was.

I cant rate the pavilion high enough. We went there yesterday, we were about 30 in our party, We all had a good time. The manager and staff could not do enough for us. we like it so much it has become a regular meeting place. The food is very good and has good range, You can also get a drink to compliment the meal, or you can have a coffee or tea if you wish. The pavilion has a nice homely atmosphere with nice people that go there. So when in Wolverhampton give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

My wife went there tonight for our tea. I am a member and have been there loads of times, and as usual the food is second to none. There was a private party in the function room for 200 people, who were all eating, all beit a buffet, but we got our meals in the restaurant in a brilliantly timely manner, we'll done pavillion :-)

Went for New Years as we do every year. Lionel Richie was great, but was confused why he sung UB40. Staff were fine and kept the empty glasses off the tables. The bagpiper is always a highlight of the night! DJ was naff though. Played 60's for most of the night, a couple of newer songs. We went up about four times asking for a song which he said he'd put on and then never did. Even tried to appeal to his obvious love of cheese by begging for at least a bit of Five or something. Anything?! Nothing... Rubbish..
