Kitchen stunk of either dog poo or out of date chicken. Been trusting this place for years but will never go back. Dirty people

Over a 2 hour wait just for a Parmesan which I ordered at 7:30 and never arrived till 9:45 I could understand a wait on a Friday evening but over 2 hours is abit extreme especially when it's not even a 10 minute drive

Having been to Middlesbrough for the football we decided to take some parmo's back home to York. Ended up going here. Ordered 2 full & 2 half parmo's which came to £28. Then offered a free pizza to go with the order, not sure if this was because they knew how crap the parmo's would be or they couldn't believe we'd spent so much money on them. Either way the pizza wasn't great even though it was free. In their defence it probably didn't help that we reheated them later, that said the bechamel sauce resembled wallpaper paste and was completely bland.

For the second week in a row I was told my food would arrive within the hour after waiting for an hour and 30 minutes I rang the shop to be told the usual ‘it’s on its way’ when the food arrived it was freezing, rang to complain and was told sorry were busy foods bang average when hot better off ordering from anywhere in Stockton place has gone down hill ...

Used to visit the Parmesan House years ago and whilst in the area collected 2 parmesans tonight. Food looked lovely but tasted awful! On cutting into the Parmesan they were mostly made up of breadcrumbs, white sauce and topped with cheese ... but chicken was barely existent! Chips were extremely dry in taste and creamed cabbage was like mush with no taste whatsoever. So disappointed and will not be returning.

I'm not sure why there are negative reviews of the parmos on here. I guess it's just a matter of taste for some people. Personally I was introduced to this takeaway over a decade ago when my friend who was a delivery driver for them at the time gave me one of their parmos. Ever since then I've always ordered from here when I'm in Stockton. I moved away from Stockton a couple of years ago but I have still have family in the area who order their parmos from here, so when I'm visiting and we get a takeaway we go here. I crave parmos because although they can be found in the part of Durham I moved to, they're not that great and can't replace a good Teesside Parmo. And where Stockton is concerned, I've always gone to Parmesan House for over 10 years now.

I’d really advise anybody to give this place a miss used this place years ago just fancied a chicken Parmesan thought I’d give it another go. were do I begin the oil the chicken was cooked in must of been a year old the white sauce on the chicken was sweet the chips were freezing cold I really don’t no how people can use this place 🤢 I for certain won’t again by the looks of the place it needs shutting down PERMANENTLY!!

Been advised to grab a parmo there, which we did something we'd bitterly regret immediately afterwards. Felt sick the following day, pretty sure it was food poisoning! Avoid like the black plague!

Being born and bred in the north east means I love a parmo, I've tried pretty much all of them. The parmesan house was easily the worst I've had! The thinnest, scruffiest parmo I have ever seen The toppings all tasted of aniseed, the chips tasted like they were cooked the week before, the creamed cabbage tasted old and bland. This is not a bad review for the sake of it, this is a bad review because the food was terrible, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

I remember a year ago ordering the same pizza with extras and being the envy of everyone at the party. Less than impressed with the sequel; all of the additional toppings were charged for but very clearly absent from the final product. A triple cheese order should be swimming in the stuff not resembling a bargain supermarket pizza. In addition the order was charged an additional £2.50 for delivery and arrived cold. Splash out for a Pizza Hut is my strong advice.

Rude! I called to order then he said could I hold on 1 second then left me on the call waiting 5 minutes I could hear them taking other orders when I rang back up to explain he had an attitude with me and pretended he couldn't here, excuse me but it was your fault not mine and now lost a customer.

Shocking meal. Been using the Parmo house for years but when food arrived it had taken 1.5 hours to arrive and then the chicken kebabs were dried up pieces of reformed chicken with no pitta bread and some wet chips. No onions or pepper either. Called to complain and was told that's the new menu! Not changed on just eat but no pitta with a kebab!, really disappointed and won't be using them again

My family and I, including children ordered chicken bolognese Parmesan as a treat for tea. An hour later, leading into the following day, all of us, including children did nothing but be sick and suffered the 'runs'. We contacted the manager who seemed incredibly uninterested. We actually only contacted them to let them know incase they had any other complaints. We will never order from them again

Asked for sauce on all 3 meals and none off them had what I asked for also the burger I ordered was very chewy not the best that I have ordered from yous!

Took 2 hours to get here. Food was Cold. Called after 1 and a half hours and was told it will be there any minute. 30 mins later called again and told same thing. Told the guy he said the same thing half an hour ago. Turned up 20 mins later. Last time i use.

Had to wait an hour and half for my food but I understand due to being 3 mile from the shop but it was worth every single second I waited, Parmesan was absolutely beautiful, chips were cooked to perfection and everything was still hot! Would definately go again more and more!

Absolutely disgusting! My partner threw up within 5 minutes of eating, food order was incomplete - undercooked or cold! Not impressed at all and will be making formal complaint and submitting complaint to higher organisations!!

Get takeaways from here all the time and they never fail to impress me fast delivery and food was perfect especially tonight's parmo it was unreal

Was really good delivery time although I had to go out to the car after he phoned me to then find kabbab missing and the creamed cabbage was soaked in vinegar to the point I was borking it was that sour after taking a large fork full but all of the other food was amazing though

Food was freezing cold. Again! Waited 80 minutes for delivery. This isn't the first time this has happened either. Won't be ordering again in a hurry.

We rang twice and said could we have cream cabbage with the order we are about to put through on just eat. Yes yes no problem both times. Come NO cream cabbage, food was cold and the garlic sauce.... Garlic? Or was this just watered down Mayo?. Anyway very disappointed. Basically 3 times we have contacted, I even written on the notes.

Although food was ok, delivery was 25mins late, they also forgot part of my order, which came 30mins after initial delivery, you would think for inconvenience that there would of been a complimentary item or discount on next order as an apology but never got either, think it will be a long time before we use them again, shame as I've used them hundreds of times after a night out

A parmo should be smothered in bechmel sauce which it wasn't ! Garlic bread should have garlic butter with significant garlic on it, which it didn't !! Overall, very poor !!

If I could I would rate the food quality no stars.the chips were soggy and cold.when I looked at the chicken parmo I was put off by the amount of orange cheese that looked very processed.i tried it as looks can be deceiving this is the worst takeaway I have ever had it's tastes disgusting.won't be ordering again from here.

Absolutely shocking will never use again, food was okay but delivery was 20 mins early from the specified time. They then forgot the two fantas ordered and then proceeded to lie that the driver sure he had and were extremely rude. The girl on the phone was absolutely awful and intimidating. No refund on cans was offered, was then passed on to the boss who then hung the phone up on me. Ridiculously poor takeaway, won't use again.

Asked for only lettuce an cucumber on the salad and received it upside down, pitta bread was freezing, chicken kebab was like rubber. Freezing cold. My Parmesan was all over the place an also cold. Asked for no peppers just onions with the kebab an got none. I always order from here and they are usually nice, but this time I've ordered has really put me off wanting to get a takeaway from here ever again.

The worst takeaway I have had in my life... Give this place a wide berth! The establishment looks dirty and the staff look unclean. You can not see the food being prepared at the rear of the shop and the food was no better than deep fried slop. I was not happy when I got home and opened my order to say the least.

Will not use again. Food was delivered in a timely manner, minus the sauces we had ordered. I called to enquire and was told it would take 30 mins to get them to me. With 4 hungry children looking forward to a takeaway treat I was annoyed - our food would be cold by the time the sauces arrived. We were told nothing else could be done. No apology, no offer of freebies, no offer of a refund. We did receive our sauces in the end and enjoyed our cold pizza as much as possible. As far as I could tell it was good food, and the square pizzas are a nice touch. However, do not use if you want a warm meal or good customer service.

burnt to a crisp gave to the dog order stake parmo it was like ruber dont order stake parmo only fit for my dog she loved it though thats her treat for the week sorted first time using parmo house so carnt comment on the rest of the food but i wont be ordering from there again a bit expensive for dog food but i know my dog is hoping i order from ther agin by mistek as she loved it lucky girl that she is lol

Chicken parmo was horrific and ill only cut in half couldnt even force myself to taste it !!!!!!!!! Missing chips, and looking at earlier reviews im nt even gonna bother ringing up coz its obvious u dont get nowhere !!! Wont use again and ill be letting family and friend aware of this too

Food was beautiful good quality ingredients. Only let down was the donner meat was cold(but was still tasty) , but the parmo was hot lol not sure what happened there.

Really recommend the Parmo, I only got a half and it was still a big portion, delivery time was spot on too, delivery guy was polite, food was still hot :) I would always recommend Parmo house for a good takeaway

Waiting nearly 2 hours on an order which was cold on arrival, rude customer service when enquiring length of wait. Food was in fact colder than the drinks..

Delivery was ~30 mins later than expected but they were super apologetic and it was a Saturday night. Food was piping hot and delicious.

Waited an hour for them to forget our pizza. Delivery driver said we had to ring the shop. Did so and was told a fresh order would be out to us. Another hour later food full order finally came which was clearly the same pizza that had been made and left in the shop the first time round as it was rock hard. Not impressed!!

When everywhere is closed at 2am in the morning. These guys are still open and deliver proper Parmos! I've had really bad ones at this time of the morning but theirs was great. Spot on after a night out!

The base of the pizza was burnt completely. I can understand the outer edge of the pizza due to it being bigger but even the middle base of the pizza was black & hard. Wasn't happy with this.

The kabab that we ordered was really dry and hard to eat which was really disappointing. Parmesan and Pizza was really nice and great portion sizing!
