This b&b is in a great location. Gale and John are the perfect hosts. Nothing is to much trouble. The room was perfect nice an spacious. Had a great 5 night sleep here and definitely returning for future events.

We had a fantastic stay at the Pantry, we were walking the Wye valley way and stayed for one night. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary later in the year and got a lovely car from the hosts on arrival along with some homemade Welsh cakes. Lovely selection for continental breakfast and a lift back to the Wye valley footpath 😊

While traversing the A470 from Llandudno to Cardiff, one more thing crossed off my wife's bucket list, we were looking for somewhere to stop for a drink and a snack which was not a chain on a petrol station forecourt. As we headed south on the A470 my eagle eyes (I'm a Crystal Palace supporter!) spotted on our right a sign for The Pantry, with parking outside. We pulled in gratefully and were warmly welcomed by the proprietors. We were faced with a selection of home made cakes (one of the owners runs a cake-making business; they also offer bed and breakfast rooms which could be a very tempting base to explore the Wye valley) slices of which were highly restorative with the accompanying pot of tea. We sat outside and enjoyed the view towards the Wye and had a very pleasant conversation with the proprietors. Everything, including the toilet, was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

What a little gem The Lost Arc is. Had two lovely meals…one Sunday lunch, a tasty nut roast with roasted vegetables. The other was Friday pizza night, the best pizza I’ve ever had! Garlic base vegan p
