This place is one of the best spots I have ever been too, never mind being a buffet. The food across the board is bang on in flavour especially them lamb chops 🥵, I was done by the time I got to the mains though 🤣, need to go again and change my strategy 😂, amazing service, amazing staff, amazing owner, most of all amazing food!

I have been to this place and was disappointed with my experience because the staff was rude. They definitely need more training to improve their customer service skills. Proper training would help them understand the importance of being respectful and courteous, which can make a big difference in creating a positive experience for customers.

Beautiful atmosphere very good service and 5star food

Food was amazing, staff very friendly and on the ball, prices very reasonable, ample parking all round good experience.

Staff were all lovely and worked very hard. We enjoyed our food but couldn't give it 5 stars as I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. We'd seen the tiktoks and thought we'd have a drive over. Handy if you're local but we're not. My husband enjoyed the lamb chops and I enjoyed the onion bharjis. Flat lemonade in a jug wasn't very nice. The dining room felt like a huge canteen, very nosy, if there was music you couldn't hear it. There was a mix of people. It's not a dressy place for an evening out. To be honest we were in and out within an hour. The room was also very smokey, I'm guessing the extraction fans are not strong enough? Also, cash only !! So make sure you go to the bank before or you'll end up bank transferring them at the till. Would I return, doubtful, but it was OK for a quick bite to eat and reasonably priced.

Where do I start… as soon as we walk in the whole restaurant was filled with greasy smoke. We had to wait 15 minutes just to order some drinks which to be fair the drinks was decent however, as we started the buffet, the plates were dirty at the top (you could see people choosing the clean plates and not the dirty ones) the food was filled with grease, however they did have many options to choose from. After we had our meal, we went for some ice cream which again was shocking and fell apart and tasted like plastic. Went back home and I kid you not, not even a hour had passed Untill me and my partner was almost throwing up, both on the toilet and still now 3 hours later we still both feel horrific will definitely not be visiting again due to their lack of sanity and lack of customer services. May I add most of the food had bearly any flavour.SHOCKING!!

Not a bad buffet good value for money. You do get a few dishes but not a lot compared to other buffets in the surrounding areas. Parking is very good and there's loads of seating. Only downside is the fizzy drinks in the jugs where flat, we had to send them back twice so wer went for the glass bottles instead.

Amazing place huge variety of food excellent staff very helpful make you feel really special

Amazing atmosphere, lovely staff but the word was horrendous. The starters were cold and hard like a brick. Inedible starters that have definately been there for hours. There was barely any food in the buffets. The meat to the curries were dry when you know definately that it has been there for a while, no wonder it was so quiet. I do not recommend this place it is a tiktok hype avoid at all costs. Al maidahs is way better and same price!

Beautiful place. Very eye-catching on the inside. Staff are friendly and helpful, making sure your every need is catered for, including being disabled. Food is also outstanding 👌 regularly checked and filled as required. They also have ice cream and deserts. The millions flavour ice cream is my personal favourite. I can not fault them

Me & my husband had our anniversary meal here 15/9/2024 and had one of the best meals we have had. The food was fresh from the salad to the curries, definitely get the lamb chops. As I have learnt many restaurants usually put the price up on drinks, they don't at The Palm it's very reasonable and we ordered a bottle of water and there was no charge which we expected. Not the nicest of buffets at all. Food was very oily and everything tasted the same. Rice was chewy and cold. Icecream is the worst i have ever had. Haleem was a daal. The best thing was the cola on my table and that too when we got a jug replaced for it because it was flat! Do not recommend it at all.

We went here as a family of six because it looked like good, tasty traditional Asian food. It looked good value and was glamourised on social media. 100% Defo, not worth it if you are vegetarian and wanting traditional Asian food. There is a salad bar with sauces, onions and popadoms etc... If you eat meat then it is much better. Lots and lots of meat options. Mainly all meat curries and meat starters. Very, very little vegetarian options. There was veg noodles, a very average tasteless vegetable curry which only had cabbage, potatoes and frozen carrots in it. Very disappointing. Didn’t have much taste. There was a lentil daal which was very average and also chick peas and potatoes, again very average. In the vegetarian options there was cheap tasteless veg Samosa and they were not cooked properly. They had veg pakora which was just onion fried in flour. Lots of potato options. Fried potatoes, battered potatoes, new potatoes, chips, boiled etc… if you are vegetarian and love potatoes then you will be ok. They had boiled rice and brown rice. No pilau rice. I just felt like I was at a really cheap hotel all inclusive buffet to be honest. Waiting in long lines for food. Cattle market springs to mind. It was stressful trying to get the food you want. I spent half an hour waiting for pizza to be topped up. They had chips and pizza which I ate because there was nothing else for me as a vegetarian, but they were from Costco. I didn’t go here to have to eat cheap pizza and chips. Desserts were also from Costco I saw the guy empty them from Costco packaging. For the money I spent here I could of had a really tasty, descent meal at an Indian. This place is extremely over rated.

The first question is would I rebook this venue ? Yes I would. Food : was very tasty Service : it could definitely improve Overall of the venue ; it was brilliant We booked this for 250 guest, I never experienced any bad review. The manager can make this venue very exciting indeed. He was very helpful. Food was very good BUT there was a gap between starters and the main course and our guest was a little concerned. Eitherway it might not have been their fault, maybe I should have told them when to serve food. Overall it was a great experience and they were competitive than others. It was very clean. Hope to see them again.

We hired the palm for our wedding me and my wife, everything was outstanding and on point, the owners managed everything really well and there was not a single thing out of place. All the guests really enjoyed the service provided the food was amazing. Can’t thank the staff enough for a wonderful spotless service. I would highly recommend use them for your weddings they communicated really well with us and delivered to perfection

I tried this buffet for the first time and it was ok The starters were good especially the Thai sweet chicken, however the mains lacked flavour and taste, the haleem was bland it was more like daal with no flavour to it The gulab jamun was good but the ice cream wasn’t all that The service was really good and price decent I’ve tried it once and now I don’t think il be returning

I wouldn't recommend eating here. The food was cold and bland. Chewy starters and stone cold. The plates and cutlery was dirty, even the glasses had a smell to them. Avoid!

Well, I came here with my wife and 12 year old son, and I was pleasantly surprised not just with the food but with the service. The food was bang on authentic, and the selection was great, not like some all you can eat places where you're limited to just 4 or 5 curries and the service was excellent and staff were professional and polite. On a down side was the lack of atmosphere in the place, As it's a big place and you could tell you were in s hall, there was no background music to take the slight echo that exists away. One put down was the toilets. They were absolutely filthy. In the ladies, one toilet was filthy with no seat, The other toilets seat was not properly fitted to the toilet. The men were almost as bad and could have done with a mop and a clean.

went yesterday (28/7/24) as a family of 16 but i was deeply disappointed with everything. we had booked a table in advance and still had to wait. when we were told to go and start the buffet we asked for lamb chops these were given to our table 1hr late and they were very tough and chewy. the rest of the food was also very bland and tasteless although they have a wide selection the food was not to a very good standard very very tasteless. the service provided yesterday was also very poor we asked for a mocktail and two kids drink which was also given half n hour late. we ordered two jugs of irn bru and coke and they were very flat. the dessert selection was ok the only best thing was the chocolate fudge cake, they had lemon drizzle cake which was soft but did not taste of lemon at all. overall very poor food and very poor service do not recommend this place at all.

like a cattle market! the curries are watery, i asked for lamb chops to the cook, i was given 3 dried up chops more bone, i went back and asked for 3 more he looked at me like a piece of dirt! he said they would be sent over, i waited ages and by they time they arrived we were leaving. got to the checkout and it was cash only or bank transfer. what a pal lava! had to then go over to Asda cash machine, one of us had to stay behind like a criminal so we didn't do a runner, sorry guys its a no from me! there are other places treat you better than this.

The buffet is really good and has a variety of dishes. The staff are very polite and helpful. Highly Recommended.

The best restaurant food gorgeous start main meal

My visit to this restaurant was far from pleasant, and I would advise against dining here. The lack of consideration for Pakistani flavors made it difficult for me to enjoy the food. Additionally, the rushed and pushy service from the waiter, who immediately asked for drink orders upon our arrival, was off-putting. The insistence on ordering a jug of coke and serving it in open glasses without carbonation was disappointing. Having to request kababs and chops separately from the waiter instead of being able to help ourselves at the buffet was inconvenient. The portion sizes of the kababs and chops we eventually received were small and not satisfying. The dessert selection, particularly the Kheer, was lacking in flavor and overall quality. To add to the unpleasant experience, the restaurant did not accept card payments, requiring us to either make a bank transfer or pay in cash, which was unexpected for a buffet establishment. In conclusion, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant due to the combination of unsatisfactory food, service, and payment options.

BEST BUFFET PLACE EVER I've never tasted quality food like that in any other buffet place. Everything was so tasty fresh and hot. Went to the salad station first and got the kids the chips and pizza - the pizzas were fresh and so tasty top quality - The southern fried potatoes were gorgeous the chips were crispy and tasty and and the peri peri chips were so nice and spicy - you don’t get fresh chips in any other place they’re always limp and soggy so was really impressed within minutes - then went onto the other starters. - the chicken pakora is unlike any I’ve ever tasted and were simply the best I’ve ever had. After that everything I ate I said the same thing- everything was the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere - the curry’s are out of this world and that lamb curry dish was perfection the lamb was so tender and fell apart in your mouth instead of being tough and chewy like other places. Make sure you ask the chefs to make you some lamb chops and they’ll bring them over to the table - best ever again just wow you need to try them - I lost count of the times I said wow - You can see the effort the chefs put into everything - lovely place really nice inside, luxury dining at an affordable £19.99 for adults and £9.99 for children upto the age of 10 - amazing - not any extra costs either inside as they dont serve alcohol- we ordered 6 pepsi’s and the sever kindly suggested 2 jugs would be £2 cheaper ! YOU MUST TRY IT - il be telling everyone about it. And im booking my dads birthday meal for there next weekend :) Take note it’s cash only -

Felt deceived by a Facebook video I watched and was looking forwards to visiting this place first off had to search through the plates to find a clean one second the service was one of the worse I have experienced order drinks only to have to chase them up you have to order lamb chops had to chase those up too the food was very average almost overly seasoned with msg paid my bill I didn't get my change and the staff said they will look after us on next visit but I will putt it down to experience as I won't be returning 3 hrs of my life I won't get back

It is one of the best buffet food restaurants I have visited. You can tell everything is cooked fresh, nothing tastes bland or dried out due to being kept warm, and the kebabs and lamb chops were especially lovely. The restaurant area was very clean and the staff were very helpful. It is cash only and is a alcohol free restaurant, but it has a vast variety of mocktails. Will definitely go back for another visit.

Avoid! All the Currys are bland, the meat is dry. The rice is boil in the bag. Not worth £20 a head. It’s cash only which is bizarre. I get mass catering can be hit me miss but this place is a miss. The curry’s taste like they went over the road to Asda and raided the ready meal section.

Wouldn’t recommend at £20 per person there is not much choice and what choice we has was medium nothing outstanding… at an all you can eat you expect all you can eat and for the price you wouldn’t expect one lamb chop per person, which at the time we didn’t know that until we went back up to order more and the chef said no you have already had one portion as would not give us a bother portion… the currys all tasted the same and was quite bland, the started u literally have 5 to choose from and yet again was not to high standard and to top it off seeing the chef spitting on the floor while he’s behind the food counter cooking out us both off.. we wanted to try this place has we had heard good things but from what we witnessed we will not be going again!! Anyone who wants to try a proper all you can eat with authentic Indian food I highly reccomes you try the royal Nawab in levemshulme for the exact same price but will a lot more to try from and as many lamb chops as you want to eat… real bummer guys…

We booked a wedding even on 22/6/24 - the taster food was awful cooked so we decided not to go ahead but they insisted we do another taster day which was better than previous one. we went ahead with the event but was disappointed with the following: 1- Drumstick not cooked, tasted horrible 2- Bombay biryani worst taste I have ever head, had few spoons, never had something like this before 3- Rasmalia - milk was off and couldn't even swallow after the first spoon 4- Service was atrocious - waited after chana chaat for 15 minutes 5- Guest became disappointed with the service and food 6- Told that they would not provide cake knife and plates to share the cake, after numerous people asking they agreed to give few plates and not all guests ended up having cake. They informed the carpet will get dirty if we have the cake on the venue !! 7- Left over food - we had booked for 200 guests and only 160 guests arrived and they didn't give the fish pokaro, lamb curry and gave few seek kebab and no desserts were given as left over. I'm assuming they used for the restaurant next day !! Overall would not recommend anyone booking they wedding hall because we were disappointed

Awful food with no flavour - a truly forgettable experience

The ambiance is good, the staff there was polite, however most of the dishes were tastless. There was No Salt policy i suppose in this restaurant (ideal for hypertensive patients). Paya, haleem were much below the mark. Haleem was like boiled daal. They need to seriously UP their game re taste. Also dessert options were less and bland. Kheer was not good either.I wont go again !

Went for tea heard a lot about the place sorry I bothered £55 and hardly ate anything few bits but nothing special I said do I ask for chops and chicken tikka he said yes went up asked chef for portion of lamb chops which there was two in a portion so I was sat while my husband ate he’s food then I went up and asked could we have a portion of chicken tikka and a portion of chops chef said you’ve had one so we paid bill no fuss and left not an all you can eat is it and at £20 a head I don’t think it’s value so won’t return

Nice place, food was alright, too much tables outs not pram friendly at all, also to top of everything at the end they did not accept card payments and left us faffing about by doing a bank transfer staff was lovely but a few things could of been better e.g seating table space and payment options BIG LET DOWN just ruined everything to be honest definitely need to sort out the payment options

Went for my birthday meal and the food was spot on. However, when we arrived we weren't on the list (seems to happen a lot) for a table, despite booking online 2 weeks beforehand, and getting an email reminder that same morning. There were only 2 of us with a toddler so they did seat us anyway. Luckily we turned up early because there were other people who got turned away and the queue to get in after about 5.15pm was INSANE! There were easily over 100 people waiting outside in the hallway and they didn't seem happy. If you want lamb chops, you have to shout your table number to the chefs behind the food station, and they bring it to your table, found this out after seeing someone else do it. However, they show a decent portion of 4 or 5 chops on their Instagram so we only ordered 1 portion, but only 2 lamb chops per plate so I'd advise to order more portions if you have more people. They taste very good too though! We spent about 45 minutes there eating, but once they saw we were finishing our dessert plate we got ushered out quite quickly by a waiter, presumably because they wanted to seat someone else. My partner paid the bill but as we left we realised that they had charged us double for our drinks, since the set price per person for the food is £19.95. We didn't give a tip so I guess take that as our tip, but a bit cheeky. Also be aware it's CASH ONLY, we knew this beforehand so wasn't a problem. Overall very busy so get as much as you can each time you get up otherwise you'll spend most of the time waiting in queues. There is lots of waiting around to get to food so not ideal for kids, my toddler got quite fed up. BUT the food was lovely and very very tasty. Not sure I'd return based on the service and being overcharged, but was worth one visit.

Booked online with a time slot, we was ontime, say we had booked online and we still had to wait for over an hour to even get a table. After asking when we would get a table, if it is to long we would leave because we had a baby and child with us, we then get told it be 5 mins and the reason to why we had to wait that long was because we had a baby us & a pram !! Even though the front house staff could have asked us to just take the carseat off and leave the fram in the car or somewhere safe. In this time we seen around 20 odd tables be seated and we still sat waiting finally we got to the table and the guy then said the pram wouldn't fit and to move a chair out the way, leaving the baby in the middle of the path. Then said take her off the pram and to stick baby on a seat in the car seat. Meanwhile the place was packed that much we might aswell have been sat on a table with strangers eating. So Yes we left ! We did not sit and eat, lines was crazy, place was smokey & the toilets was horrible. Definitely the cleaners need some lessons on how to clean them. Front house is asking names and writing them on paper asif it's in order but then randomly pics any to take a seat. Largest groups first ( obviously all for the money) Would not recommend at all and would not got back.

Absolutely rubbish experience, never again, originally booked table for 7.30pm, was called from the restaurant and was asked to come in for 8pm instead, so we could have the table longer. My whole family arrived just before 8, we was asked to wait, didn't think much of it, thought we would have to wait about 5 minutes or so, we had to wait for 40 minutes before we was shown our table, the food was adequate. The service was rubbish. When I had booked the table through the website, there was nothing written on there saying that the buffet prices per head would be more because of Eid!! You would think that they would have a deal on, but no they charge you more!!!, for 2 jugs of drink it cost £13.90!! My whole families bill was a ridiculous amount! I wouldn't recommend coming here!

Bringing Dubai to Oldham greater Manchester! What a vision to transform this place into magic ! I will start with the buffet area beautiful seating ,£20.00 per head the food selection is massive & easy to follow , there very famous for their lamb chops the way they cook them is unique the flavour is mouth watering! The curry range just enough to choose from ! The starters nice and light before main ! Good desert range but I was to full to eat them ha ha ! Staff 10/10 just ask and happy to help ! Then the main hall is truly Dubai to have a wedding here is a dream & fairy tale making the perfect day ! A very high standard reception room ! Seating , the stage 50 different sets to suit your needs , 4 different packages you choose the one for you ! Their food on weddings etc is of a very high standard!

The only criticism would be paying by bacs is a bit annoying. Please take cash if you don’t want to pay this way as you can’t pay by card . We’ll be back .

Embarrassing food. Please don't waste time and money visiting for the sake of buffet. I sampled out a bit of everything. The starters are nice, pizza, crackers, pulao, chicken pakora, fish pakora are decent. Biryani is a disgrace, please don't call it biryani. It's spicy chicken rice, NOT biryani. The mains are absolutely horrendous. Most of the chicken curries are sweet 🤮🤮 and lack flavour. The savoury ones are full of oil and unedible. The desserts are decent, ice cream and cakes are good. The atmosphere is terrible, cringe 80s Indian music playing in the background, very suffocating inside and a lot of ill-mannered people.

For an all you can eat this was the best we have been to. You'll normally go to any other all you can eat and food is watery. If you went to and Indian sauces are usually thick. This restaurant is in between. Expect a good kick in food to drink more but this was class. Everything for kids food wise and a taste of everything. Well worth it

I saw the food online and it looked appetizing to me, and when I went to try it, they were nice, but as soon as I returned home, I suffered from poisoning, severe stomach pain, vomiting, and fever.

Hi guys, Went to the Plam today honestly don't know how to start we walked in to the restaurant with 11 people expecting a great experience. The first thought that came to mind was "is the extraction fan broken as the whole restaurant was full of smoke. and would hit the back of your throat like a brick, but we was starving so we persevered as we travelled from Newcastle we was seated fairly quickly with and a great table and the staff were quite friendly and quite attentive, unfortunately it was all down hill from there. The food was extremely poor and disappointing food felt very old and had been sitting for a while honestly we wasn't expecting to much as its a buffet and understandable its not all fresh but this felt like it was there for days and almost inedible and a lack of variety and poor quality. no facility to pay on card so had to bank transfer the manager over all it was a £20 per person not very expensive in all honesty and the price should of been our first warning but the name "THE PALM " was quite convincing and very deceiving as the experience was more like a nightmare then a luxury experience. total came to £259 for 11 people , not bad for inedible food and a smoke filled restaurant next time we stick to what we know honestly i wont tell you not to go, i can only tell you my experience. thank you guys !

Absolutely fantastic food was amazing , lots to choose from and plenty of desserts well worth the visit , waiters/waitress were very polite and cheerful, really good happy atmosphere, ( quick tip for the owners ) apple crumble + custard added to the desserts would be a bonus 😁

Great customer service very welcoming staff warm environment and excellent tasty food with a variety of dishes starts to deserts definitely recommend for a dinner day out

So I’m not really one to leave a bad review but this place unfortunately left me no choice. Upon arrival the place looked really nice. Decor inside was lovely. The seating was very spacious. Once we started at the buffet this is where it went downhill. The plates were shockingly small! It was the first thing we noticed. The variety of starters and the quality was POOR! I’m not being funny but HOW can you mess up the taste of chips!! None of the starters were anything special at all. However if you usually go to a buffet you know the starters are always the best and what people eat the most. A standard starter of seekh kebab and chicken tikkas was NOT on the main part of the starter choices. You have to ask the staff to bring you them. HOW is a standard starter treated like it’s something so premium!!!! Then to make it worse the chicken has NO flavour and was purely red coloured chicken which was uncooked and horrible. The lamb chops were chewy and again no flavour. The only thing I enjoyed from the starters was poppadoms. Then we moved onto the mains and it just went even more downhill. The lack of authentic curries, the lack of flavourful food is unbelievable. The mains were inedible for me if I’m honest. Biryani was NOT a biryani it’s just coloured rice with a few pieces of chicken. Curries were not good at all. The lamb curry was poor poor lamb quality there was more fat on the meat than anything. The desserts was horrific too! The gajar halwa was horrific. It wasn’t cooked properly. The ice creams were horrible. How the hell can you mess up shop bought ice creams????? The staff at the counter couldn’t even be bothered to serve us desserts. I had to politely ask him and even then no service with a smile at all. I was so so so unimpressed!!! I will never go here again! £94 for 4 people who were left extremely underwhelmed by the food. I was going to leave the review because I thought I’d approach the restaurant direct however I have spent the last 12 hours vomiting! Stay away from here. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Entrance and waiting room looks ok problems start when you hit the sitting area there is a slight smoked ambiance as soon as you enter they must have a problem with extractor fans and then once your are at your table the waiter brings you a plate of starters like 2 kebabs cut up n half and some chicken tikka pieces for 4 of us I had to ask for more starters and the waiter said we make them fresh that’s why we have to beg for it but even the starters where undercooked,chewy anyway the plates are the size of my 10 months old baby bowl can’t fit anything on it sweet chicken was on steroids with batter you have to lunch a search to find the meat the mint chutney is sweet!! If you order the lamb chops you better go with 2 sets of jaws unless you’re a shark can’t chew them ! Now the curry’s very poor quality meat you battle with fat before you get some muscle and the tast of it is below average nan bread is baked fresh so that ok now desserts!! Custard a cake the custard is tasteless and the shocker is when you pay the bill £98 for 4 not worth it at all overall guys save yourself being unwell in the morning I do strongly not recommend that place stay away of it I should have taken some photos like my previous rewiews it give a better idea of what’s awaiting for you

Lovely place but food was catered for Bangladeshi community.. the curries were bland

I recently visited The Palm Restaurant for their buffet, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The food overall was not enjoyable—particularly the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was overly sweet and tasted artificial. The starters seemed old and unappetizing. At £19.95 per person, the price felt high given the quality of the food. The main courses varied in spice levels and lacked flavor. Based on my experience, I would not recommend dining here. On a positive note, the staff were excellent and provided great service throughout the meal. Despite the friendly service, the food quality was not up to par, and I would not choose to dine at this restaurant again based on my dining experience.

19/04/24: first time here for me & Lynette, with good friends Tracey & Hakan. Their recommendation was excellent. Fantastic food, good service and we ate far more than we should. Great tasting, fresh food. An awesome chance for us to taste Indian curries that we wouldn't normally go for!

First time coming to the palm and defo the last. The people are nice but the food is a major let down. Majority of the food was cold resulting in a stale like taste. There weren't that many options considering it is £20 per head. When we went (6pm ish) the dessert on display were just bits and pieces. Considering they opened at 5pm the desserts you would have thought would be whole or presented in a aesthetic manner. My little one had to use the bathroom so we went to the child & disabled toilet. I was shocked at the state the toilets were in, it was treated as a store room and just an unsafe room in general considering its meant for kids and disabled people. The lock was just about hanging on, there are gaps around the lock you can see in pictures anyone can look through the hole - doesn't help it being right opposite the toilet. The wiring was also uncovered - not safe! Also thanks to the knob who thought it was a good idea to park right behind our car in the middle of the car park (picture attached). Overall the chicken nuggets were nice 😭

If I could give 0 for Service - I would! Came with some friends as heard a lot about it, it’s Cash payment only or you have to do a dodgey bank transfer off a piece of scrap paper and when it doesn’t go through they don’t want to help you out and ignore you, took us 20/25 minutes before we went for any food ! CANT GO FOR FOOD UNTIL YOU HAVE PAID?!?!?! This service was THE WORST I have ever experienced .. EVER!! , the waiters ignore you and clearly hear you or see you. The man giving you your seats and tables sat us outside on the lobby area, we were wore relieved afterwards as the main restaurant hall was a covered in Smoke and people were coughing bcoz the chefs were burning stuff. Lamb chops were burnt and were pretty much just sucking on bone .. no meat on them, embarrassing. The dishes were okay, I like meat on the bone, however 2 peoples I was eating with don’t, and there was probably 2/3 dishes for them to choose from. The dessert guy was vile, I have never ever ever ever ever been made to feel so stupid and inadequate in my whole life. Couldn’t speak any English and I can’t speak his mother tongue - how are we supposed to communicate and ask for Gulab Jamun when he is hiding them in a tin out the way so I can’t point and another customer who knew what I was after had to speak in his language to tell him to just give me 2 Gulab Jamun.. then slaps 1 in a bowl and bangs it on the side and forces me to take brownies and aggressively pointed at ice cream.. gave me 1 second to answer and moved on to the next customer…. I felt I was treated differently. The whole experience we felt like we were treated differently and would most definitely NOT return and ant friends who have suggested it I have said not to bother - NAWAABS FOREVER.

The food was very tasty and fresh and I enjoyed it very much and I will definitely go back again soon

Good bunch of brothers that run it, service is excellent. Unfortunately, the food is poor, no other way to say it. Limited choice for starters and most dishes are fried (and very oily).

Buffet which serves Bengali food. Not many Bengali customers though. 20£ head, 3£ drink. People compare this restaurant to other buffet restaurants such as al maidah and royal nawab which can’t be compared as they serve Pakistani food and this is Bengali. Overall positive experience. edit; THERE WAS TOO MUCH SMOKE IN THE HALL WHICH MADE MY EYES IRRITATED/BURNING. THIS NEEDS TO BE SORTED ASAP. Thanks.

When you leave a buffet still hungry by choice you know there’s something wrong. The food is lacklustre and missing flavour. Only a small variety of starters and the food itself made me feel sickly and not wanting to continue to the mains. The deserts tasted stale and you could tell corners were cut with the overall quality of the food. Not only the starters and the mains but the deserts were not nice and you could tell the custard was watered down whilst the cake was stale and the ice cream felt cheap. Overall the dining experience is one of the worst I’ve been to and feels like the overall quality of the food available is sub par at best leaving us all extremely frustrated considering how much you are paying for the food. Do not recommend to anyone.

I recently dined at the Palm Restaurant buffet, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The selection was extremely limited, with stale and unappetizing options that seemed like they had been sitting out for hours. The food lacked flavor and freshness, leaving a lot to be desired. Additionally, the service was slow and inattentive, with staff members seeming indifferent to the patrons' needs. Ordered one drink 100 times didn’t arrive, place got hot boxed and a man came over and ate my kajoors for no reason fuming the guy in the glasses asked for a sip of my drink and then proceeded to inhale it all

Staff were rude If you want to pay by card you have to bank transfer them before you can go to the buffet. The place was really filthy, food all over the sides and the floor getting trodden in while you move down the buffet. When we arrived they put us on a table in the reception area that already had 4 glasses of water out, one had lipstick on the glass so we weren't sure they had even given us a fresh table. The table also had a plate of watermelon and dates already there, when we returned from the buffet someone had eaten the dates and spat the seeds out on our table and taken a bite of the water melon! Gross Aswell as the cleanliness letting it down the food was poor and not a lot of choice. The man on the dessert counter was also rude. Wouldn't recommend this place no matter how hungry you are.

They gave us a table in front of the kitchen where they are grilling, my children’s eyes burning And were so hot It must be more than 35 degrees in here Maddd busy queues mad long If your coming for iftar think about it Won’t be eating in an hour probably No high chair available

I have visited this place 4 times now. 1st time was intentional to try the food and rest of 3 times it was just the choice out of convenience to accomodate a large group. The attitude of the owner was utter disrespectful. Even with a booking, he couldn't find anything under the given name. After 25 minutes of wait and 3 phone calls with the person who booked it, our booking was eventually found. If it wasn't for this, the service would have been 4 stars. Now let's come to the food, It's 3.5 closer to 3 than a 4. Could be my palate, but I found the spices very harsh and some curries sweet. Tawa beef, fish pakora, and chicken pakora are the only better options(chicken wings tasted stale. Nehari and paye were the worst I have ever tried. Don't get me started on biryani. Chops are decent but razor thin, you have to order it over the counter and they bring it to the table, onlybone plate of 5 chops was brought over once only to share among 10 people (we went a requested a couple of times)The dessert section is standard. If you are one of the people who would like to try many things,this is for you. If you want quality over quantity, I would avoid it.

Had some awesome food here today. food quality and taste was very good. All staff were very polite. A good selection of dishes from starters to main courses. will definitely visit again
