The Palm Court in City of London, Westminster

Lovely afternoon tea @ Sheraton Grand’s Palm Court. We really enjoyed the sandwiches (especially the brioche buns) and scones with homemade preserves. The cakes weren’t as good, but the excellent and attentive service from Sadia made our afternoon. A pianist played every hour, which was lovely!

We came here for afternoon tea with our children. This was an excellent choice. The tea selection was great, food was very tasty. Best of all the kids tea set had them creating their own bus and tower which kept them happy, quiet and busy for a good hour. This was a nice touch to give the parents a break. We came hungry and left full, refillable plates wasn’t expected but awesome. Rawe, Sadia and Efren were so professional! Come around 2:30 and you will catch the live piano, another nice touch. My son wanted to add he had a lot of fun and great service, he loved the staff.

Sadia , Maria and Adnane are the best. Thank you for making our experience the best afternoon tea ever. You made our weekend the cherry on the beautiful cake you served to us with our afternoon tea. Truly wonderful experience.

Exceptional Service from Zakaria. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensured I had everything I needed. His warm attitude and helpfulness truly made the experience at the palm court even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Came here for the Christmas themed afternoon tea. There were four of us. The service was friendly but not as attentive as we would have hoped, we didn't get the additional orders we requested and it took ages for them to get our coats. The food was enjoyable.

Great bar in the Sheridan Grand Hotel. The wine and drinks were great and our bartender, Birat, was excellent. Nice to have a quality bar in our hotel. It makes the stay much easier!

Was treated to afternoon tea for a special occasion by a very dear friend. Lovely experience in perfect surroundings. Staff could not do enough and were professional and friendly. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were delicious and there was a great tea selection. Obviously a glass of bubbles made the whole experience perfect.

A lovely tea with repeated sandwiches which I loved. We went mid-week so the ambience was lovely. It wasn’t crowded, we weren’t rushed despite the two-hour turnaround policy but enough other diners to add to the atmosphere. The staff who served us were lovely Sadia and Ale but a special thank you to our host. He was a Filipino gentleman, I think. I believe his name was Efren. He very politely asked if we’d consider leaving a review for his colleagues (Sadia and Ale) not thinking about himself at all. If he was their manager, what a fantastic one he is, showing not only great hospitality for his customers but also care for his team. (In contrast, reminds me of another hotel I went to where a restaurant manager was reprimanding a waiter in front of customers for no good reason.)

it was disappointing. It wasn't the quality, the quality was good, but the selection. I was expecting much more choice when it came to desserts. all you get is 3 choices, none of them blew my mind either.

I was staying at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane and was curious about this restaurant's afternoon tea, so I had it there. Earl Gray tea was delicious. Refills of food and tea were OK. Even so, I still want to drink coffee at the end lol

Myself and my husband came for some afternoon tea at the Palm Court and honestly, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience here. Firstly our wonderful waitresses Iha and Priyanka were so attentive and always made sure we having a wonderful time, both had radiant energy and made our day really with their amazing service. We had good expectations for this place after it being recommended to us through a friend and I’ll say it didn’t disappoint, the food was delicious, my personal favourite being the salted caramel eclair and the pickled cucumber sandwich, I’ve still been thinking about that sandwich (we asked for extra we enjoyed it that much) it was genuinely a wonderful afternoon tea full of yummy bites and piping hot tea. We couldn’t have been happier <3

Christmas tea in the Palm Court was a truly memorable experience and a highlight of our time in London. Greg and Kalin”s level of service was beyond exceptional

We have been for afternoon tea several times. The food was tasty and fantastic as usual. We were disappearing about the service this time, which we were shocked by, as has always been exceptional previously. The staff brought us to the table, our coats where not taken. The Christmas afternoon tea came out and the tea, which was all explained. We never had any other interaction, we weren't offered anymore tea or asked if we wanted more champagne. We would have had further glasses and more tea. It also took a while to try and get attention to pay the bill, it looked like staff was being trained and a few of the staff were at the till. Hoping this was just a one off, as we have been coming 10 years and love our visits .

Absolutely fantastic experience with brilliant tea, food and service! Overall very high quality. All the food and desserts were delicious and the staff always offered to bring more of certain foods if we seemed to like it. This was also the case for the tea, which was delicate and prepared to perfection! Alessandra, who took care of us during the stay, always had a good recommendation if we asked, and every single option we tried was fantastic. All of the staff was extremely welcoming and kind, frequently going the extra mile to enhance our stay. Alleh and Alessandra both went above and beyond to make the experience magical, and Alessandra especially elevated the afternoon tea to a whole new level with her kindness, professionalism and attentiveness! :) Both my friend and I had a wonderful time, and hope to return again in the future!

As an unnexperienced tea lover from a coffee country, I was really looking forward having some tea experience in London. The Palm Court evening tea experience was not only super welcoming, the service was really warm and attentive, the desserts and tea of high quality and really delicious. I felt so happy living this amazing experience with my best friend on my first ever visit to London. Its totally worth it and mind blowing. Also thanks a lot to Alleh who was a great waiter and made me and my friend feel really comftable and happy with the experience.

Old hotel One of the strange things in the bathroom is a hot water tap for one and pictures of cold water for one. The wisdom behind that is I do not know. Jonathan and Alessandra took good care of me, were affable and made me feel comfortable during my time in the palm court, the pianist was also playing some very cool music in a style that I'd never heard before. Would highly recommend the palm court if you want to switch off from the outside world and chaos of Londinium for a couple of hours.

I came here tonight to celebrate my anniversary with my wife. The service was exceptional! The staff were incredibly warm and hospitable. Greg, Johnny, and Rave provided an excellent service. We will certainly be returning.

Don’t come here with high expectations based on the brand of the hotel. Unlike other afternoon teas I’ve experienced, some priced at the lower end of the £65 they charge here, I was surprised you are given cakes to share. I’m perplexed by this, because if I was dining on my own and paying the same price, would I only be given half of each cake? It appeared that the sandwiches were being made from fresh, as we were offered an apology for the lengthy wait, however once received the edges of the sandwiches were discernibly dry. I had high hopes for this place, but honestly if you’re after a decent afternoon tea experience this is not the one. A distinct lack of service. I can highly recommend the Wellington Lounge at the Intercontinental Park Lane around the corner, or for a real treat, the Corinthia London.

Excellent food, homely atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. An excellent ending to a most memorable stay in this magnificent hotel. I’ll definitely come back again.

I stayed at the Sheraton for 15 nights in June and ate at this restaurant almost every night. The service was fantastic and the food is very good and very well presented. The bartenders were the best, as was the manager, who was very attentive, friendly, always greeted warmly and made us feel very much at home. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting London.

We loved our first visit for high tea! The staff was excellent and made our visit a special memory. The chef needs to be recognized for the amazing food and its presentation. Thank you Kim and Maria it was a pleasure.

Can't fault this place! We came for my birthday and had the most wonderful experience, on par with the more high end afternoon teas in London but for a fraction of the price. We were served by the wonderful Maria and Driyanka who were extremely attentive and friendly, they are a real credit to the Palm Court. We couldn't fault the food, which was all delicious and beautifully presented. The cherry on top was the very talented musician playing the piano which created a wonderful ambiance. I will certainly be returning and recommending to others!

5 of us for an evening tea. The service was fantastic and so was the food. Albena and Sadia were are servers and they went above and beyond with the service, they also gave us enough so all 5 of us so we could all enjoy the high tea.

Thoroughly enjoyed a classic Palm Court afternoon tea at lunchtime. Plenty of delicious savoury and sweet treats which was exactly what the doctor ordered!! A very generous pot of tea each was complemented by a free glass of Prosecco each as it was a present for my wife’s birthday. The maitre d and staff, Maria and Kim, were very attentive and ensured we enjoyed our experience. We certainly did and would happily return again and again.

One of the best afternoon tea experiences we've had. From entering the hotel the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. We were so well looked after by Kim & Sadia (apologies if incorrect). They ensured we never wanted for anything (including offering extra sandwiches/scones/pastries). The sandwich selection was delicious, scones warm and the pastries were great. The atmosphere and service were fantastic and elevated the experience as really the staff couldn't do more. Highly recommend and had a lovely couple of hours. Thank you
