Was very busy due to England match and a few more bar staff were needed but the pub has been refurbished and the atmosphere was great.

we went there several times, even in one day, then we reserved a table and it was occupied, the employee wasn't interested and offered us a table that we hadn't reserved, rubbish employees, we left fresh drinks and left, she wasn't interested either

Almost 40 years between visits has changed a lot for the better, Great service with a smile, and excellent facilities.

Much better than the Dive it was previously, polite staff, clean with a fresh make over. Anything was an improvement on the previous dive.

Lovely tasting food. Had the steak pie, chips and veg. My husband had the sharing platter which was great value for money. Definitely go there again

The home made pizza is amazing, best I’ve had in a long time, actually all the food I’ve had here is spot on and at a really fair price which makes it better. Really Friendly staff and will bend over backwards to make your visit the best, keep going Packhorse

Cheap drinks and food with great staff

The packhorse has been so welcoming and so much fun since Aaron and his team took it over. My family and I walk into a warm greeting and are made to feel like a part of the packhorse community everytime, whereas previously we felt as an inconvenience to the barman. Now nothing is too much trouble and us and our children are made to feel so welcome and appreciated as customers. We feel like friends of the pub and wish them all the best. A 100% turnaround for the better in every sense. The packhorse now deserves to be a real hub of the larkhill community that can be supported by all.

The Pack Horse lovely Pub, very welcoming. Would highly recommend a stop at the Pub. Great hospitality. Superb Food It is a must visit.

This pub is near our house and recently been taken over by Aaron and the team. WOW what can I say absolutely amazing, by far the most friendly local pub I have ever experienced, the staff are friendly and love the kids nothing is too much effort for the team. Hats off to the chef the food is fresh, piping hot and delicious. If your in the area give them a try you will not be disappointed, one of the best in the local area!!!!

We went for lunch in here over the weekend. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was great. There were 13 of us so had a good variety from the menu and everything was spot on. Really tasty and well presented. They were constantly cleaning too which was good to see under the current circumstances. Will definitely return

A lovely pub once you’re inside, outside was a bit off putting but worth going in. Staff very helpful and service was quick.

Just popped in to this friendly pub. Difficult to spot from the road. Excellent beer served at the correct temperature. We will definitely pop in again when in the area.

Friendly place.... hope they open again soon. Been here a few times after driving Salisbury Plain or visiting Stonehenge..... looking forward to next visit.

Warm family atmosphere. Land lord gave the kids some sweets and an activity sheet while the parents chilled out

We have recently moved to the area and visited the pack horse this evening. The staff were very lovely and welcoming. Food was fantastic, excellent portion sizes! Definitely value for money. I'm looking forward to my visit for a Sunday carvery! Also very interested in their curry night, poker nights and free pool nights. Seems a lot in offer. Also dogs welcome, which is great to know!

Tour guide was very knowledgable however the tour was very quick, felt a bit rushed.

Great carvery bit quiet but food good family friendly

If you like a good homemade style roast dinner then this the place for you.

The ambience is more "labour club" than "village pub" and the carvery was 30 minutes late but the food is relatively cheap and very tasty.

Nice place and interesting set up with wide range of drinks and snacks with plenty of TVs and seating to watch the Rugby unfortunately heating was broken at the time so very cold but once they fix that was a nice venue to drink and chat

Went for Sunday roast. It was really good. Also had dessert. Roast is £6 and with dessert it was £9. Staff very helpful and friendly. We have been here many times and have had no problems. The only thing is that, Although the time for dinner is between 1 and 3, it will always best to get there for 1pm. There is parking.

No real ale - awful food - depressing surroundings.

Was in the area this evening and fancied a quiet pint. This place was the only pub within walking distance and it looked like a nice place. Checked their website and it closes at half ten on Sundays so I spent twenty minutes walking there when I arrived at five past nine it was shut and a sign on the door with amended hours for that specific weekend. There's nothing else to say really, I'm sure it's great when it's open but I never got to find out. I did check their website but there was nothing on their about changes to hours for this weekend.

Lovely home style roast dinner carvery and very cheap. Nice homemade puddings too! Would probably go every Sunday if I lived nearby!

Local pub frequented by soldiers from across the road. Friendly staff, good food, reasonable prices. A short walk from Stonehenge Site.

It's a hell hole in Larkhill...

I'm stuffed! Just home from eating the most delicious dinner at the Packhorse in Larkhill. At the minute for only £10 you can have a pint, a huge choice from the self serve carvery and a pudding (try the Sticky Toffee pudding or the Choc Fudge Gateau), seriously good food at a seriously good price and lovely, friendly staff serving.
